MirialD will be down to one member for a while.
Drummer Regia announced at the end of July that she would be taking a break from performances on doctor’s orders. While the particulars of her illness haven’t been revealed, she has written a blog post about her situation. Read the fully-translated version below (translated by yours truly):
I’ve been in poor health for some time now but after consulting with my doctor, they’ve concluded that I need to have a long recovery period. As a result, I will be stepping down from my public activities with MirialD for a while.
I’m sorry for this sudden news.
I hope to return to the stage depending on my recovery.
At present, I’m not sure when that will be, but I’ll work as hard as I can to return as early as possible.
Our lives will carry on as scheduled with the addition of a support drummer.
Vo. LAER will remain the only official member, but I don’t him to end activities as MirialD, so he’ll carry on performances as planned.
I’m very thankful for our support drummer.
Please go and see him.
I’ll be taking a break only for a while, but I want to thank all of our fans that have given me support.
I hope you’ll give me a warm welcome back when I return.
I’ll be absent from public appearances, but I’ll be helping MirialD with things like song arrangement and design.
Please continue to give MirialD your support.
MirialD Dr. Regia
MirialD has been working with support members for a while, so this isn’t exactly a new situation for the band. Hopefully Regia will be able to recover quickly and return to the stage. In the meantime, feel a little more more assured knowing that she’s working behind the scenes.
