First of all, the new release is going to be put out on the 18th of August and the single itself will be entitled 「メイドインマイン。」. It will come in two types – limited one for 1890 yen and a regular one for 1260 yen.

As mentioned above, the band is going to hold few events to celebrate the fact that they’re releasing the new single. The short tour is going to be entitled 「BUG’s Tricks Capture1〜規格外のスマイル〜」(BUG’s Tricks Capture1〜Kikakugai Smile〜). The dates and venues are as follows:

xTRiPx, who lost their bassist, Ruchi, on April 8th have announced that they now have a new bassist in their ranks!

His name is ちょび (Chobi) and you can check out his blog on Ameba at http://ameblo.jp/gokusaishiki-neiro.

Along with the new member, the band will be releasing a new “limited production” single on June 9th. The single will cost 1000 yen and include two tracks:
1. Intro[w]
2. [double]

The band is doing something kind of cool to promote the new single as well. Starting on May 13th, on their fliers that will be available at lives, there will be a password. You can use that password to access a special part of the site where you can listen to a trial version of [double]!

Furthermore, on August 4th the band will be releasing a brand new mini-album! Details will be available at a later date, but it’s definitely something for fans to look forward to.

This is unexpected, however, we have some important news for everyone.
Since October of 2008, xTRiPx has been doing activities with these current five members, however, after our live on April 8th, our bassist ruchi will be graduating from the band.

We are sorry to the sudden announcent and for having to announce it like this on our OHP.

In relation to xTRiPx’s future, we are sure that we have made a lot of you worried, but we sitll have lives scheduled with the current five members, and because it’s just a short amount of time, we will be happy if you can warmly watch over the five of us until the end [of the five of us together].

I’m sure that there are probably people who are bewildered by our unexpected announcement.

But now, as a result of the roads we both believe in pursuing coming to a junction, it has been decided that ruchi will be graduating from the band, and advancing down a different path.

The member’s discussed it many times.
In all honesty, I thought that if one of us was to be missing , we couldn’t go on.
However, there are still songs that I want to sing.

There’s still a lot of things that xTRiPx should do, and for ruchi’s sake, I feel like there’s no way we can stop now.

Until April 8th, the five of still have a lot to do to put things in order.

ruchi’s graduation is for the sake of the unknown future.

Although right now, I can only say things awkwardly, I hope you can warmly watch over the both of us from hereon.

I’m sorry if we surprised you with this sudden announcement.
It’s only been about a year and a half since ruchi became a member of the band, and I’ve felt that [his time in the band] has been rich.

He became like an older brother to me.
We’re going to be walking down different paths, but both of us will keep on doing our best.

This announcement is unexpected… but
Since the end of last year, I’ve been thinking about it a lot.

So now, I figured that once we finished recording our single, that would be the end for me.
My decision is based on the feeling that I can’t do any better than this.

My band activities, are like a personal marathon
At first, I had a a lot of fun running with everyone
But, gradually, running becomes difficult and tough, and you fall down
Your pace falls behind and when you get like that, it’s time to pass the baton to the next person
This is a result of thinking a lot
About going progressing down a different path

I’m not really looking to stop playing bass or retire from band activities, it’s just I don’t really want to run at that pace anymore.
As for xTRiPx, I really do love their music.
There are more things that I want to say, but as this is how I’m feeling about it all right now,
I’ll be happy if you can watch warmly over me from hereon in.

ena’s Comment

I’m sorry for the unexpected announcement.
ruchi will be graduating [from the band].
The past year and a half that we’ve spent alongside ruchi has for myself, and for xTRiPx, been something that can never be replaced.
I’m sure the fans are extremely surprised.
I think that it’s not something you’ll be able to accept quickly.
However, ruchi has chosen the path, and decided to graduate, so as there isn’t much time left with the five of us in xTRiPx, please watch over us.

What’s more, however, the band will be having a oneman under a name 「Innovation[∽]isM」 at Shinjuku MARZ on the 31st of January! These who attend will get a special priviledge. The tickets cost 3000 yen when bought in advance, and 3500 yen on the day of the event.

The band has also announced the next oneman live, entitled 「Innovation[ma]izL」. It will take place on the 26th of February at Hakata Drum Be-1. The prices are the same as for the January oneman, but the attendants will get a DVD priviledge this time.

We have some great news for xTRiPx fans!

Secondly, the band has announced a new single! The title and other details are currently not decided, however, it will be coming out on February 3rd, 2010.

They’ve also announced that on January 31st, they will be having a oneman live at Shinjuku MARZ. Again, further details are not yet available, but they will be selling their new single in advance on that day.

The lives are scheduled for October 28th and November 26th and are titled 『bug screamo VOL.05』 and 『bug screamo VOL.06』. Playing along side Born on the 28th is KYOKUTOU GIRL FRIEND and xTRiPx as well as others that have not yet been announced.

At the moment the only other band listed to play on with Born on November 25th is Administrator, however it does also say others so more bands may be listed soon!

Tickets are 2,800 yen in advance and 3,300 at the door for both lives but are not available for sale yet.
