vistlip has teamed up with SUPER LOVERS to release a limited line of clothing in March. The three items to start selling on the 31st are a parka & shorts set (Tomo), a backpack (Tohya), and a jumpsuit (Umi). Of course, they’re pricy, but CDJapan has made these items available for overseas buyers and they can be preordered now.
You can find the items here on CDJapan, which also include a listing for a collaboration cardigan by Rui which was released yesterday.

vistlip will be relasing their eighth single this spring, and it’s coming out in three different types.
The new single, which is called “Recipe” will be coming out on April 11th.

・ Two new songs, including the title track, Recipe
・ DVD contains one PV + making of footage

On February 15th vistlip’s guitarist, Umi, will be modelling in the “Sixh. OPERA SHOW & LIVE” at Harajuku ASTRO HALL. Other band members that will be participating include You from Matenrou Opera, Sasaki Jin from Serial NUMBER, Intentsu from AYABIE and miko from exist†trace.
Don’t forget that starting on March 22nd, the band will be touring for their oneman live tour, “the end of ORDER MADE”. Dates and venues are as follows.

One of the fun things about visual bands is that they always have a wide variety of goods for sale, no matter how big or small they are.
Speaking of goods, (that was a great introduction, huh?), Umi from vistlip recently posted photos of the band’s new towels in his blog! It seems that he got the samples in the mail and the towels will be available for sale at lives soon!
Umi said, “The colors are awesome and eccentric”. Do you agree?

vistlip’s Second Album

vistlip have announced that they will be releasing their second album this winter!
The album will be called “ORDER MADE” and it’s coming out on December 14th in three types.
The first press ‘vister‘ edition costs 3780 yen and will contain the album plus a DVD.
The first press ‘lipper‘ version is also 3780 yen, but instead of a DVD contains a ‘gorgeous’ booklet.
The regular type is 3150 yen, and contains the album only.
A tracklist is not yet available, however, all versions will come with one randomly selected trading card.

A month ago we told you about vistlip’s new single which is set to be released on June 1st, but apparently there will be even more CDs coming – total of 18 re-issues of their past 9 releases. Release date for all of them is July 6th.

vistlip have announced that on June 1st, they will be releasing a new single called 「SINDRA」 in three types!

vistlip to hold a fanclub only live

Last year, vistlip got into a car accident, resulting in a hiatus.
Now it is announced that the band will be back with a fanclub only live to thank their fans for their undying support.
After their sudden car accident last year, vistlip had been going on hiatus for an undefined amount of time. However, they are now taking a step forwards again.
“Keeping our memories of her cherished in our hearts, along with the irreplaceable cherished companions, to an irreplaceable important place, we will be delivering our music once again.”
These lines were written by Tohya in his blog and the other members also wrote down their feelings of gratitude.
Accordingly, the band will be holding their “V.I.P. LiST Only LIVE!!” in March as a first step, which has been revealed recently. However, this is not just a fan club live, but also free at that. Applications are currently open for the time from February 17th to March 1st. We hope you all keep supporting vistlip in the future as well.

vistlip involved in car accident

We have received news that vistlip was involved in a grave car accident this morning.
The band was reported to have been driving along Nagae Tunnel down the Joushin’etsu Expressway in Nagano city, Nagano prefecture, when vocalist Tomo’s car crashed into the tunnel wall at approximately 1:15 a.m..
The band’s manager, Asako Sakakibara (31), had been in the backseat when the impact forced her out of the car. Sadly, the damage that her body sustained led to her untimely death.
According to highway police, the rest of the passengers sustained minor neck and arm injuries. No other fatalities were reported.
The police are still investigating the cause of the accident.
It was reported that there were eight passengers (including vistlip members) in the vehicle. The group was on their way home from a live in Kanazawa city when the accident occurred.
We offer our condolences to Ms. Sakakibara’s family and wish the band and the staff a speedy recovery.

However, when asked the same question, his band mate Tomo said, “No way, it’s better if you don’t go. Because it seems like you could die from complications [with the machine]“.

vistlip have announced that on June 23rd, they will be releasing a live DVD called 「Gather To the Theater」! The DVD will cost 4935 yen and contains footage from their show on March 19th at Akasaka Blitz.
The band has also announced that they will be releasing their sixth single on July 7th!
The single is yet to be titled, but it will be coming out in two types.
The “vister” version is 1890 yen, and comes with a CD plus a DVD which features a PV of the title track.
The “lipper” version is 1260 yen, and comes with a bonus track not included on the “vister” version.
Each of the releases are ready for pre-ordering on CDJapan, so head on over and book your copies now!

vistlip will be releasing a new single on May 12th called 「STRAWBERRY BUTTERFLY」!
The single is coming out in two versions; a ‘vister’ version and a ‘lipper’ version.
The ‘vister’ type comes with both a CD and DVD, and costs 1890 yen. The DVD will contain the PV for the lead song, 「STRAWBERRY BUTTERFLY」.
The ‘lipper’ type is 1260 yen, and comes with a bonus track.

vistlip are going to have a oneman tour in March 2010 under a name 「GATHER TO the THEATER」! It’ll consist of 4 concerts, each costing 3500 yen in advance and 4000 yen on the day of the event. It does not apply to the final live, however, which will cost 4000 yen and 4500 yen respectively.

vistlip’s new DVD

vistlip is releasing a DVD on December 23rd which is tentatively titled, 「visual collections」.
The DVD costs 3800 yen and is a collection of footage from the past year. It will contain original PVs, as well as making-of video. Footage from their country-wide tour will also be included, along with 30 minutes worth of film from their first oneman live on July 7th at Shibuya O-WEST. Last but not least, are comments and bonus footage.

First album for vistlip

After I’ve seen johnesh’s comment asking if it was true that vistlip would soon be releasing a full album (on the previous article we wrote about the band), I’ve checked their OHP to find out what was going on.
And it appears that the band will release their first full album pretty soon indeed ! Entitled 「THEATER」, it will go on sale on December 9th. That’s all I could tell you as of now, but be sure we’ll give you more details soon.
