ヴァンパイア (Vampire) have anounced that after their live on June 28th, they will be disbanding.
The following announcement was placed on all of the member’s blogs:
Up until now, we’ve only been active for about a year and a half, however, as there is a change in what each of the members wish to express, we have come to realize that continuining on as Vampire is too difficult.
Our decision, is not beacuse the members are no longer friends, but it’s a positive disbandment as we feel it’s a chance for each of us to take a fresh step forward.
To everyone who has been cheering us on, to those who have been working with us and everyone connected to the band, we are grateful to you all from the bottom of our hearts.
We only have three lives left as Vampire, but just as we always have, we’ll do our best to perform with all of our might, and with the little time left, we’ll make the best of it with our fans.
Our last live will be on June 28th at Meguro Rock Maykan.
We hope that we can make our last live the best, and share it with all the fans who have been supporting us thus far.
The band’s final live is, once again, at Meguro Rock Maykan and is titled 「血末」-You are the most important people for us-. It costs 2500 yen to attend or 3000 yen at the door. All those who attend will receive a free DVD containing two tracks plus offshot footage. They will also be selling member signed Polaroids and a memorial clip collection.

Vampire’s new release

On May 1st, ヴァンパイア (Vampire) will be a new single called 「blood curdling bath」! The single will cost 1000 yen and contains three tracks:
01. ラストレター (Last Letter)
02. ヴァンパイア (Vampire)
03．白雪蝶-Metamorphose- (Shirayukichou)
To celebrate the release they’ll be having a oneman live where the single will be available for pre-sale!
The live is called 「血戦-Blood curdling bath-」 (Kessen; Bloody Battle) and it’s taking place on April 29th at Shibuya RUIDO K2. Tickets cost 2500 yen a piece and all those who attend will receive a free demo CD from the band!. Furthermore, they are giving out a limited number of signed posters for free!
Sounds like a great event for Vampire fans!

Mahiro joins Vampire

One more line-up change for ヴァンパイア (Vampire) ! After Sena who arrived after Jin’s departure, Mahiro now joins the band after Kou’s departure.
To be precise, he will join the band on October 3rd for their live at Takadanobaba AREA.

Vampire down one

Again… Just three weeks after they’ve found a new member to replace Jin, ヴァンパイア (Vampire) is losing yet another member ! This time, the band will be losing one of its guitarists, Kou, who will be leaving them after their live on September 12th.

Just one month after they’ve lost their bassist Jin, ヴァンパイア (Vampire) has already filled the blank ! Their new bassist is called Sena, there’s no picture of him as of yet but they should update their site soon I guess ! Anyway, good news for the band !

Vampire loses Jin

Thanks to Tay for the heads up on this one!
Vampire have announced that as of June 30th, their bassist, Aoyama Jin, has left the band. They apologize for not having the chance to have a final live with him, but do say that they will continue on with activities as planned.
Jin says that he has decided to leave the band for personal reasons. He mentions that from the start, he felt that a situation like this would arise, and although he considered leaving before, the member’s enthusiasm and support kept him going in the band until now. However, now he feels that he’s reached a breaking point where he can no longer continue in the band, and he apologizes to the fans and members for the timing of the events.
He is grateful to have been able to be in the band with these wonderful bandmates, and thanks everyone who has been supporting him thus far. He hopes that fans will continue to support Vampire, and welcome a new member into their ranks.

After a few live distributed CDs, ヴァンパイア (Vampire) has finally decided to put their very first official release up for sale, a maxi-single called 「摂死零℃の追憶」 (Sesshirei℃ no Tsuioku) that will be available on June 6th and will be limited to 666 copies. The single will cost 1500 yen for the three following tracks :

Rouji (ex-Appui) announced his new band today in his blog! Their name is ヴァンパイア (Vampire), and their debut will be at an event sponsored by them on November 14th titled Stir The Blood Game -scene of vampire- at Holiday Shinjuku. They also are planning their first release, titled 『躁鬱ヴァイオレッド』 (Souutsu Violet). The release will be distrubted for free to all attendees of their first live. Other goods will include Artist photos, Polaroids, stickers, and more!
