bento-beatbox-tv-premiere

As Mija mentioned a little while back, JRR and Anime Network have teamed up to bring fans Bento Beatbox TV.
Again, it is hosted by Xion from Vaeidos and begins airing today on Anime Network. The first episode will contain information on Gackt, VAMPS, Angelo, Luna Sea and Deluhi and a music video from each of the five artists.
The premiere airs May 14 (today) on Anime Network and a ten-minute version of the episode will also be available on JrockRevolution.com starting at 8PM EST. But the whole episode is a little less than thirty-minutes.

From what I saw, there was…
1. GHOST – Gackt
2. SISTER – Angelo
3. I Gotta Kick Start Now – VAMPS
4. HYBRID TRUTH – Deluhi
5. Rosier (live) – Luna Sea

I just so happened to search for this today and I watched it. It’s pretty cool, actually. Although I had already seen over half of the PVs shown, it was still cool to watch it on my TV with friends and family.
I don’t have Anime Network, but I do have Comcast cable, which has some Anime Network content On Demand, if you go to Channel 1. Luckily, I was able to see the Bento Beatbox TV program for free.
I’m not sure if it’s like that for everyone, but on JRR.com there should be more information that will help so that everyone can view the program!

SUICIDE ALI posted a message on their MySpace asking fans to spread the word!

Well, that’s what we like to do here at S-T. Spread the word.

So, in case you haven’t heard (or even if you have) SUICIDE ALI will be performing at PMX (PACIFIC MEDIA EXPO) which is taking place at the LAX Hilton in Los Angeles, California.

Just as awesome, opening for SUICIDE ALI is Vaeidos.

Let us know how it goes if you get a chance to see the boys perform!

vaeidos

While they’re not exactly visual kei, there’s a band based out of LA that I think many of the Shattered-Tranquility.net readers and visual kei fans in general will enjoy.

The band’s name is Vaeidos and they formed at the tail end of 2007, lead by their vocalist, Xion. They have both a Japanese and American influence and so far they’ve performed only a handful of lives, including playing at both the Chibifest and Ikkicon conventions. The band will be featured this weekend at Kakkoicon which is taking place in Minneapolis, so we’re urging all readers who are attending the convention to go check them out!

The band’s members currently are:
Vocals - Xion
Guitar and Keyboard – Perry
Support Guitar - Josko
Bass - Gene
Support Drums - Trevor

If you want to get a feel for how they sound, make sure you check out their official MySpace page and listen to the samples! My personal favourites are Mr Blower and My Lemon.
