As of June 30th – guitarist Yuichi has left The Sound Bee HD due to musical differences. From this moment on the band will continue as a four member group so please support both sides. The band has already taken him down from the site but you can still send him messages on his facebook.

LIX. Changes Name

Thanks to Mateluhi for sending it in.
After the departure of three of the members of LIX. on September 25th, the guitarist Yuu decided to change the name of the band.
LIX. have officially changed their name to lix, and the new lineup is Chihiro on vocals, and Yuu on guitar. They updated their website and blog with the change.
They have several upcoming performances this month and next month.

The Sound Bee HD comes to NekoCon

Looks like another band is coming to America for another con! This time its The Sound Bee HD coming to NekoCon for their very first American live. For those who don’t know, in the beginning of 2010 – the band joined Kiwamu’s new visual label: Starwave Records and since then have had released a new album and gained many new fans.
The con is set to be on November 5th – 7th in Virginia. So far no schedule has be set up for the band to see when their live and autograph signings will happen. Who is going?

We talked about Darkest Labyrinth releasing a collective CD featuring bands from the label over here. Now Starwave Records is going to be releasing a label VA on June 30th.
To commemorate its formation in 2010, Starwave Records will release a compilation album containing 7 exclusive takes of songs by the label’s artists! A live event will be held on June 13 at Ikebukuro LIVE INN ROSA to commemorate the release of the compilation.

THE SOUND BEE HD have a new release coming out for the summer! Their 3rd album – Hachi will go on sale on May 12th, 2010.
[Hachi] is the third album and first release in 5 years for the project led by Daisuke (ex-media youth). The sound is a fusion of heavy rock and electro with a Japanese taste, adopting the theme of Japanese goth. The third album [Hachi] will be available for pre-sale during their sponsor event at Ikebukuro Black Hole on April 24, 2010!If an advance order is placed together with an order for an item in stock, both items will be delivered together when the item on advance order is officially released. Therefore, it is recommended that advance orders are placed separately.

With the rise of Calmando Qual returning and becoming active again (their first revival live was last week) – Tak had been playing support for the band The Sound Bee HD, and thanks to Valerie for emailing us links to the band! The band features ex Media Youth vocalist – Daisuke. The group have been around since last August but started to pick up more lives this summer! They will be performing at the -DARK SIDE ROCKERS SPECIAL- with SPEED-iD on August 22nd. Add their myspace here.
