New Album for The Kiddie

The Kiddie just announced that they will be releasing their second album on 3/28! It is called 「MA★PIECE」, and there aren’t much details except that it will be released in two types, a limited and a regular edition. The limited comes with a CD+DVD and the regular only has the CD.

THE KIDDIE have just announced that not only are they going to be releasing a new single in May, but also going on a tour!
The single will be entitled 「Nutty Nasty」 and will go on sale on May 25th. It will be available in two types:

THE KIDDIE releasing new album

After a really busy summer, THE KIDDIE will get even busier, because they’ve announced the release of a new full-album!
The album will be entitled 「BRAVE NEW WORLD」and will go on sale on November 24th in two types: Regular type will contain 12 tracks and cost 3000 yen, whilst the limited one will cost 3200 and will include 13 tracks and a PV. What is more – it will come in a special slip case and with a bonus booklet.
In December they’ll go on a winter tour called 「DAWN OF THE B.N.W」:

THE KIDDIE have announced their first oneman tour after they have went major. As you know, today their first major single entitled 「smile.」 goes on sale and today they’ve announced the relese of the second one!
It will go on sale on September 22nd under the title 「Calling」 . There will be two types available – limited type will cost 1575 yen , whilst the regular one only 1260 yen. The tracklists are as follows:

THE KIDDIE goes major

THE KIDDIE have announced that on July 14th they will be releasing a new single 「smile.」 which will also mark the major debut!
The single is coming out in two types; a first press edition that costs 1575 yen and comes with two tracks plus a DVD that contains the PV for 「smile.」, and a regular press edition which is 1260 yen for three tracks.

The band will be signing on with King Records.

THE KIDDIE’s 2010 calendar

THE KIDDIE will be releasing their first official calendar in 2010, which will feature mostly photos that have never been seen before.
The calendar will also come with a CD that contains one never before released track, as well as an unplugged version of their popular song, 「NOAH」.
The calendar is 14 pages in total, and is B4 in size. It goes on sale December 16th, and costs 3000 yen.
Those who are in their official fanclub, 「kidd’s」 will receive a special Christmas card if they order the calendar.

THE KIDDIE’s song as an ending theme

As we mentioned back here, as part of THE KIDDIE’s three consecutive month release campaign, they will be releasing a single called 「BLACK SIDE」 on November 4th!
「BLACK SIDE」 is coming out in two types; the first press limited edition that costs 1890 yen and includes two tracks plus a DVD with the PV for the title track, plus the regular edition which is 1575 yen, and contains three tracks.

This became quite an habit lately to release many CD in a row, so here is one more band who is surfing on that wave.
THE KIDDIE is going to release 3 consecutive maxi-singles from October to December. The first one will be called 「soar」 and will be released on October 7th in two different types
- First press (1890 yen) :

2. ほんとはね。 (Honto wa ne.)
+ a DVD containing the PV for 「soar」
- Regular press (1575 yen) :

THE KIDDIE’s official fanclub

THE KIDDIE have announced that they are forming an official fanclub called [kidd's]!
They will start accepting memberships on August 20th, at their oneman live. Afterwards, you can apply on August 21st if you are paying through postal transfer. If you want to pay by credit card or through your local convenience store, applications will be open in the beginning of September.
Details will be announced as the occasion calls on their OHP.
So, what do you get with a membership?
- A membership certificate
- An enrollment privilege
- Priority ticket sales
- Band report (four times a year)
- Greeting card publications
- Access to member only events and trips
- Access to the member’s only website

THE KIDDIE’s song an ending theme

For the month of July, THE KIDDIE’s song 「elite STAR+」, will be used as the ending theme for the CBC radio show, 「さゆぱら」 (Sayupara).
The show airs every week from Monday thru Friday, from 9:00pm for one hour.

A big thank you to GinnYx for emailing us! THE KIDDIE has updated with a new look and they have a new release coming out! Elite Star. Two types will be available, type A will have 2 songs and a dvd-pv. Where as type B will have 3 songs sans pv. Release will be on sale on July 8th. The band will also have a oneman live on August 20th, the live will be called 【WAKE UP!! elite STARS】

THE KIDDIE on live activity pause

THE KIDDIE has announced that after their live on April 12th, they will go on an indefinite pause of live activities. The reason is that their vocailist Yusa has two pollyps in his throat that need to be removed by surgery, and they’re taking time off from lives for Yusa to recover.
However, they do say in their blog that they’re going to continue underground activities even when they’re on a live break, and that they will definitely come back as soon as Yusa is healthy again, so this doesn’t mean they’re disbanding or even going for a real pause.
Yusa also says that he’s been introduced to a very good doctor and the surgery itself is a simple one, but since they don’t know how it will turn out, they will decide when to resume activities afterwards when they know better.
He says he will return to stage no matter what, and asks everyone to welcome him with a smile again when he comes back.

Two ex-Ruvie and two members from THE KIDDIE are teaming up in a session band called 「鼠」 (Nezumi) on September 6th at HOLIDAY SHINJUKU.
The members of Nezumi are
揺紗 (Yusa) – THE KIDDIE
優 (Yuu) – ex-Ruvie
燕 (Tsubame) – ex-Ruvuie
ユウダイ (Yuudai) – THE KIDDIE
And there’s one more member, who’s currently a secret.
The event will be called 『Ｍの幸福論～その壱～』 (M no Koufuku ～ Sono Ichi ～) and also performing are VanessA, Like absolute myself, AibeLL, Evnus, Ansinomy and てぃらみす。 (Tiramisu) which is a session band by ex-Ruvie’s 由女 (Yume).
