New full-album and sponsored tour for Sandwich de 120 pun?

Great news for all サンドイッチで120分? (Sandwich de 120 pun?) fans. Not only are they going to release a new full-album in July, but also hold a commemorative sponsored tour!
Firstly, the full-album will go on sale on July 27th under the title 「ネバーランド」(Neverland). It will include 13 songs and will cost 3150 yen. The cover is as follows:

Furthermore, as mentioned above, they’ll hold a short sponsored tour entitled 『空を飛べない大人達の青色音楽祭』. Dates and further details are:

Suicide Ali to release New Maxi Single in January

There will be a pre-sale of Suicide Ali’s New Maxi Single during their「Cut down the puppet strings」one-man live @ Meguro Live Station on December 25th.
The single will be officially released in stores on January 12th 2010 and it will include a 4P booklet.
The title of the single is said to be called [Perpetual Check] and it will be limited to 1000 copies.

LIX. Changes Name

Thanks to Mateluhi for sending it in.
After the departure of three of the members of LIX. on September 25th, the guitarist Yuu decided to change the name of the band.
LIX. have officially changed their name to lix, and the new lineup is Chihiro on vocals, and Yuu on guitar. They updated their website and blog with the change.
They have several upcoming performances this month and next month.

We talked about this magazine once before when they featured Luzmelt in their first issue over here. Now they are back with issue number two and the cover artist is another Starwave band, the fool. There is also a feature of Luzmelt at their first US appearance, Aural Vampire and Suicide Ali. The issue comes out on July 1st so keep your eyes open for more info.

We talked about Darkest Labyrinth releasing a collective CD featuring bands from the label over here. Now Starwave Records is going to be releasing a label VA on June 30th.
To commemorate its formation in 2010, Starwave Records will release a compilation album containing 7 exclusive takes of songs by the label’s artists! A live event will be held on June 13 at Ikebukuro LIVE INN ROSA to commemorate the release of the compilation.

We have already told you that SUICIDE ALI were going to release a single, but we finally have some details to share with you guys!
The maxi-single will be entitled 「Stitch DoLL」 and go on sale on the 23rd of June for 1890 yen. However, the CD will be pre-sold during their lives from the 23rd of May. The release will be limited to 1000 copies only and contain 4 tracks:

Suicide Ali will be featured on the cover of the new Risknote that will be coming out in May. You can already preorder the issue at the label’s store over here. The magazine is only $15.00 and will include interviews with Kiwamu, LIX., THE SOUND BEE HD, the fool, DELUHI, Luzmelt, Calmando Qual and many more! The group also has a new look which is pretty much made of cool. Again – note the accessories are of Ryonai’s designs!

Luzmelt’s U.S. Debut

We announced back here, that SUICIDE ALI would be performing at Tekkoshocon VIII. Today Kiwamu announced that Luzmelt would be joining the line-up and have their US debut also at Tekkoshocon VIII!
They will be performing, and also on Thursday Tekkoshocon will be hosting “Tainted Reality Radio” live! It’ll be at 8pm, and during the show they will be interviewing post SUICIDE ALI and Luzmelt.
Pre-registration for the convention ends tomorrow (April 9th), so be sure and get it in today if you want to preregister. You can do that here.
They do not yet have a schedule up for the convention, but I’m sure they’ll have one on the site at a later date.

This is certainly something interesting. A best album and one-day-only comeback concert celebrating 10 years since the formation of Variable Messiah, the former band of Goshi and Hiroshi of SUICIDE ALI, Hiroki of Oto-oni), Taichi (ex. project EDEN), and Aki (ex. 73shiki, now in ROLL DAYS), have been confirmed. The album will include remastered versions of songs selected by the members.
The album will be entitled 「BEST COLLECTION 2000～2004」 and go on sale on the 12th of May for 3150 yen. However, it will be limited to 500 copies only, so do not hesitate and buy it!

Suicide Ali was the first musical guest announced for Tekkoshocon that is held Pittsburgh on April 8th-11th, 2010. So far no information on concert times or even autograph guidelines but we will keep an eye out and update when more information is available!

Larme d’ange looking for staff

The members of Larme d’ange are looking for actual staff members to help the band out. So far the only requirements are that you must be 18 or older and they don’t care on what gender you are. Would you ever apply to become a band staff or roadie?
Besides the December 6th event we just updated about, the band also has a New Year’s Eve event with CROW MUSIC called CROW MUSIC SUPER COUNT DOWN EVENT Vol.５. Groups who will be joining are WHITEBLACK, n’DooL, LICKER, GRiST, SUICIDE ALI, Valentine, Dear L’Novel, Vallquar, ZEROZERO and a few others! They also have a handful of lives until February.
