New band: Sika-bambi

Not really visual per se but the majority of its members have been in well known visual bands! They are called しかバンビ or Sika-bambi. The frontman is actually…a front woman!

SIZNA joins Moran

Remember when we told you guys about Moran’s next steps with their live on August 9th over here? Seems that Sizna will be joining Moran as an official member on August 20th! Their site is going through some changes so you can visit and see a more simple layout with Sizna’s information under profile.
There will also be another live on October 14th called Moran Zill – mourning live -「Stand by Me」 at Shibuya O-EAST.
Random fact : Sizna’s birthday is also August 20th.

Thanks to Lad for the heads up. Soan has updated his blog with some live info. Moran seems to be continuing with their live on August 9th, but they will have two support members. Ex. Sugar members – Sizna and Shingo will be lending their skills and support to Moran under the guise of the name Freeze. By the way, the event has been sold out by now.
The event will be focused on remembering Jasmine You and Zill, we talked about the event which was originally hosted by Jakura called Haikei Yuu-sama～Jakou Renri Sou～.
Its a free event which is probably why it sold out already – if you’re going please let us know how the event played out.

When asked what he would be instead of being a musician, SIZNA explained that his dad does bridal videography and would probably go into that line of work. Helping his dad with edits and taking over the business.
Can you imagine seeing SIZNA at a wedding behind a camera?

Sugar’s Last Live DVD

Today, deatails of Sugar’s final live DVD, 【 epilogue 】, were announced! It will come in two versions. The first is the limited mail-order version, which will contain a total of 36 songs as well as the solo section. It will sell for 9,800 yen. The second version is the distributed version available from most CD shops, and it will contain only 20 songs plus some bonus footage. It will sell for 4,980 yen. Both versions will be for sale on October 7th. Sugar plans to set up a special page to order these DVDs on August 17th. Complete track lists and details can be found on their OHP.

Sugar presents 『Last of state dinner』

Sugar is presenting a live titled 『Last of state dinner』 on June 12th at Takadanobaba Area. Performing with Sugar will be 9GOATS BLACK OUT, 摩天楼オペラ (Matenrou Opera), cocklobin and emmuree. Tickets go on sale May 16th and will cost 3,000 yen in advance or 3,500 yen the day of.

Loki-designed Accessory

Sugar’s Loki revealed details about the accessory he designed. Reservations will start from May 10th, and it is limited to just 20 pieces. It will cost 16500 yen, and the purchaser can choose between oxidized or non oxidized metal (basically, silver or black in color). Both are made with pure sterling silver. He’s calling this piece “Graveyard”.

Sugar’s Last Single

As Sephie has mentioned previously, Sugar will be disbanding, but before that happens, they will be releasing their last single, entitled, “letter” on May 20th. The single will contain 2 tracks and will cost 1260 yen.

Sugar disbands

Sugar has announced that on July 4th after their oneman at Shibuya O-EAST, they will be disbanding. The announcement states that since last year they’ve had many serious discussions, and because of the growing divide between the directions each member wants to take, they are unable to continue as Sugar any longer. They ask for everyone’s support until the end.

BLACK Sugar POT photo book

Back in January, 9GOATS BLACK OUT and Sugar teamed up for their “BLACK Sugar POT” tour.
Well, the bands have decided to release a photo book in memory of their tour! The book will contain photos of both bands from the live, the session band, green room and more, equalling a total of 200 photos! There were also be member’s comments, plus photos of their opening band, cocklobin.
The book will be A5 in size, fulled colour, and 24 pages. The cost is 1500 yen, and it can be ordered through 9GOATS BLACK OUT’s online store (which DOES ship overseas).

SIZNA, Shingo and Atsuto of Sugar have teamed up with Vanilla Edge for a collaborative jewlery peice called “tre-clearita”.
It’s actually pretty interesting, as it contains a necklace, ring and earring which can all be worn together, or you can deatch the earing and ring to wear them separately. You can choose the colour of the pendant, out of CLEAR, BLACK, BLUE, PINK and AURORA.
The materials used are silver925, cubic zirconia, Swarovski crystals, a design chain and design links. Those who reserve also get a signed autograph card from the members.
The cost of the piece is 15,000 yen (roughly $165 USD). Reservations started today (February 2nd), and they are only selling 20 of them. So if you want one, book fast! Orders will be sent out in March.

Shingo from Sugar has recently been extremely interested in a certain machine, that he decided to introduce on his blog.
What kind of machine is it? Well, it’s one of the self-service checkout machines that you find at the grocery store. Shingo wrote the following about it:
Lately, there’s this thing that I want to introduce which I’ve been really interested in.
It’s this.
It’s this thing where by yourself, you scan the bar code, and pay for your items.
It’s amazing, isn’t it?
I actually tried it out, and it was fun being like a cashier.
But, I’m not used to using it, so it takes an immese amount of time…
I thought it was ground breaking…
Seems like you’d get a lot of shoplifters, doesn’t it?
I LOVE USING THESE. If I do it myself, I can go as fast or as slow as I want. I just hate bagging my own items… they should have people do that for you. You get to scan it and then hand it to them and they’ll bag it. That would be my ultimate shopping experience.

In a recent blog entry ManJ” said that he by chance met SIZNA at a musical instrument store.

Yup Oni-con site confirmed that both bands will be coming to Houston, Texas! Pretty intense to have such cool bands at one place. We’ll post more info about Q&A, Lives and if they are doing any sort of auction dinner or whatever.
