After a 7-year Hiatus, ナナ（Nana） will hold a concert at ESAKA MUSE!
Nana has been on hiatus since July 7th, 2006, and will now hold a concert on May 19th at ESAKA MUSE. SARSHI, current guitarist of HERO, has made a post on his blog about this special event, and will hold this concert together with vocalist 山沖怜(yamaoki rei) from the birdman and bassist Chiyu from SuG.

SuG 3 Day Special Broadcast (3/5~3/7)

SuG has decided that they will do a special broadcast over the next few days on Nico! If you don’t remember, SuG had announced a split from PSC and sudden hiatus back in 2012, so this broadcast is quite a rare opportunity! During the 3-day broadcast, SuG will be live, showing behind the scene clips and clips of their music videos from over the years. In addition, they will be giving previews of the album at the end of the second and third day of the program! It seems like an opportunity for the SuG and their fans to come together and reflect on the band’s years together.

Teru & Shinpei’s Session Band

It seems that not only Kamijo will be keeping himself busy during Versailles’s hiatus! Guitarist Teru recently announced on his Ameblo that he will be participating in a special session band at Takadanobaba AREA on March 20th for SuG’s drummer Shinpei’s birthday. Members of this special session band include Yuugiri of Daizystripper on vocals, Teru and a Mystery Guest on guitar, Yo of Matenrou Opera on bass, and Shinpei of SuG on drums. Tickets are ¥3000/¥3500 and will be available for purchase on eplus.
In addition, there are several cool bands playing at the event, so look below for more details!

SuG Selling “Backstand” Tickets for Tour Final

SuG, who will be leaving PS Company and going on hiatus, have some urgent news for fans planning to attend their tour final at Yoyogi National Stadium Second Gymnasium.
In light of the December 29th show being completely sold out, the decision to sell “backstand” tickets for a limited time has been made.
“Backstand” tickets are for specially-designated seats that are located behind the stage. As a result, fans who want to purchase these tickets are warned that it will be difficult to see the stage direction. If you are a die-hard fan who just wants to be there for their last tour final before they go on hiatus, this is your chance. Act fast, though!
To get your hands on backstand tickets, follow this link to make a reservation at DISK GARAGE. The application period started on December 7th and will end on December 13th at 11pm (Japan Standard Time). It may end sooner if tickets are completely sold out before the application period is over, though. Tickets are ￥5880.

The following announcement was posted on SuG’s OHP:
After our performance on December 29th at Yoyogi Kyougijou Daini Taikukan, SuG Oneman Show 2012 “This iz 0″, we will be going on hiatus.
As a result of numerous discussions between both the members and staff, we have decided that in order for SuG to continue activities, and in best interest of the members, PS COMPANY, and the future of SUG, that we should restart under new conditions. Therefore, an activity pause is necessary, as well as SuG’s separation from PS COMPANY.
We believe that this is the best outcome for the future of SuG.
Until we start activites again, the members will each focus ont heir own work, but will improve and return.
From our start on January 12th, 2007, up until now, we were able to continue as SuG for six years because of the support from PS COMPANY, all of our fans, and those connected to the band.
Thank you to everyone who has supported us.

“SuG”, which belongs to PS COMPANY, will be going on hiatus, and their performance on December 29th at Kokuritsu Yoyogi Kyougijou Daini Taikukan, “SuG Oneman Show 2012 Thiz is 0″, will be their final show under the PS COMPANY management.
This was a result of numerous discussions and as SuG wishes to spread their viewpoint, and go back to their origin, from a company standpoint we will respect their decision, and will continue to support their new path with all of our heart.
To all the fans and those connected to the band, thank you for your warm support and words of encouragement.
The members of SuG are truly grateful.
Our SuG TOUR 2012, “sweeToxic”, will continue as planned, with all of our hearts put into each performance.
Information regarding future activities will be announced at a later date.
There’s only a short amount of time left before our hiatus, so we hope that you will continue to support SuG until the end.
After finishing their 「sweeToxic」 tour, which starts on Wednesday, the band will hold one last oneman live titled 「This iz 0」 at Yoyogi Stadium on December 29th. Tickets for the live cost 5,250 yen and go on sale on November 18th.
In his comment, vocalist Takeru assured that the band will be back. He also mentioned that their break with PSC is due to different opinions. We will post translations of all members’ posts soon, so stay tuned!

SuG’s Takeru’s talk event, and book

Takeru from SuG is a man of many talents, and he’ll be discussing these talents on a special event talk show airring on September 30th. Fans will be able to watch the show via Ustream, so add it to your calendar!
SuG’s frontman, vocalist Takeru, will be broadcasted on social TV 2.5D on September 20th in the feature event, “SuG – A Dissection of Takeru!”.
The event is a talk event that will take an indepth look at Takeru’s many talents, which include not only his music, but his novel writing, and costume design.
They will be welcoming guests from various genres to create rich discussions about things such as fashion, writing, film, and music, while also incorporting both video footage and music into the event.
Aside from Takeru, there will also be an announcer from the official site.
The event is being filmed at publically at Tokyo Shibuya PARCO Part 1, “2.5D” studio.
Those who buy any version of SuG’s new single, “sweeToxic”, that is coming out on September 19th, will have a chance to enter a lottery to be invited to the event. They will be choosing 70 names.
To view the event on ustream, tune in to http://www.ustream.tv/channel/2-5d1 on September 30th at 7:00pm Japan time. The show is scheduled to last until 10:00pm.

In more Takeru news, on October 31st, he will be releasing “BURU 2″, which is a personal book, and will cost 2300 yen for an A5 size and 160 pages.
Featured in the book will be a photo story, with polished photos of Takeru’s art concept. As was popular in the first version, there will also be a self-styling section, where he shows readers 7 days worth of style. They will be featuring a recap of Takeru’s performance style for 2011 and 2012, and there will also be a collection of Takeru’s serial story, “Takeru of SuG’s 50 x 50″.
From now until October 2nd they will be taking orders for the book, which has two types. The only difference in the types (the regular version and web shop purchase version) is that the covers are different.

SuG 「sweeToxic」 PV preview

Back in June, SuG announced the release of a new single titled 「sweeToxic」, scheduled to drop on September 19th. For those of you who can’t wait until then, the band has uploaded a short version of the PV for the title song on YouTube! This PV and its making of can be found on the Limited Edition Type A of the single.
The clip has a decidedly different flavour than the previously shared preview of 「fat inside horror」, to be featured in the Limited Edition Type B.

SuG’s new album Lollipop Kingdom is coming out later this month, and here is a taste of what’s to come! They have uploaded the full PV for Pastel Horror Yum Yum Show to their YouTube channel!
Lollipop Kingdom hits the stores on April 25th in three types. This PV will be included in both the 3939BOX and the Limited Edition. The Limited Edition will also contain the PV for another track, Howling Magic. A preview for that PV is available a their channel, too!

KERA SONGS 13th Anniversary Collection

KERA, the fashion magazine which often also features visual-kei artists as models, has announced the release of a compilation album called 「ケラ！ソン ～KERA SONGS 13th Anniversary Collection～」.
The album is set to come out on April 25th, and it’s coming out in two types. A limited edition which comes with a DVD, and a regular edition.
This 13 track compilation album features songs by Antic Cafe, Kalafina, Nana Kitade, SuG, SCANDAL, STEREOPONY, Seishun Jump (NEEKO), Shoko Nakagawa, HIGH and MIGHTY COLOR, Pico, and Kanon Wakeshima.
There will be two original songs on the release. One of the songs, 「ファッション・ドール」 (Fashion Doll), has been created by Antic Cafe’s Miku and Kanon. Miku wrote the lyrics and Kanon wrote the song. The song, however, will be performed by “Kera Models”, which includes 8 models from the magazine.
The second original song, 「原☆宿」 (Hara☆Juku) will be performed by B-kata Syndrome, which consists of AKIRA and Re:NO.

SuG will release a new single which is called 「☆ギミギミ☆」 (☆gimme gimme☆) and it’s going to be on sale on June 15th in three different types. Type A comes with a DVD including the PV and the regular edition comes with three tracks only.
