SuG have announced that they’ll be releasing their first DVD-single on November 17th.

The title of the single will be 「無条件幸福論」(Mujouken Koufukuron) and it will come in two types, both for 1800 yen. Each type will include a PV to the title song and some special footage. According to CDJapan, Type A will also include ” recording scene, shooting jacket and video clip (making-of), off shot of live performance in Taiwan and Singapore, and more” and Type B – “shooting jacket, audition scene, and more”

Don’t forget to pre-order the release and support the band: Type A & Type B

Anyway, to commemorate the release the band will have a short standing oneman tour called 『crazy“LIVE”coaster』:

Live DVD and single release from SuG

Still remember that Lisa told here about SuG’s plans to release a live DVD of their performance at Akasaka BLITZ on May 9th? Finally there is more news about it – together with a new single information!

The live DVD, 『SuG TOUR 2010 TOKYO MUZiCAL HOTEL』 will be released in two types August 25th. Standard Edition costs 3,800 yen and includes only the live performance without MCs. Deluxe Edition costs 5,800 yen and comes with two discs and 20 pages photobook. Disc one will have the performance (with MCs) and disc two is a tour document.

On September 1st comes out their single「R.P.G.～Rockin’ Playing Game」. It will be released in three types and the title song is opening theme for 「FAIRY TAIL」 anime.

SuG no longer coming to Singapore

Thanks again to all of our readers who sent this in!

Although SuG was planning on heading to Singapore to take place in the SINGAPORE COSPLAY CLUB’S SUG EVENT, “JAPAN ROMANCE” on June 26th and 27th, due to “unforeseen circumstances” the band will no longer be making an appearance.

SGCafe posted on their online forum:

It is with our deepest regrets that,due to some unforseen circumstances, SUG is unable to attend our event this coming weekend. We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience caused.

SuG in Singapore June 26-27

SuG, who we announced over here are going to Singapore in July, are actually going even earlier than that for a different event!

SuG will be special guests, and perform at a free event on June 26th and 27th. The event, entitled “JAPAN ROMANCE” is hosted by Singapore Cosplay Club.

The Singapore Cosplay Club has invited SUG as a judge for Asia Cosplay Meet’s regional round, Asia Cosplay Meet Phillippines that will be hosted on the 27th June 2010 concurrently with Japan Romance via internet live streaming.

There will also be booths selling Japanese items like anime merchandise and games.

LM.C and SuG go to Singapore!

It has been confirmed that this year at Singapore’s Sundown Festival, both LM.C and SuG will be performing!

The performance will take place at Universal Studios Singapore®, Resorts World™ Sentosa on July 31st, and the show will start at approximately 8pm.

Tickets are $118 SGD and are already available from SISTIC!

From their Tokyo tour final show, 「SuG TOUR 2010“TOKYO MUZiCAL HOTEL”」, SuG are scheduling to release a live DVD of their show at Akasaka BLITZ!
No details are available as of yet, but we’ll be sure to keep you updated!

Furthermore, the band has a brand new look for their 2nd major single:

Along with their new look comes a Oneman Show called 「Sparkling Hot Shot☆～着火せよ!!大胆エモーション～」 (Sparkling Hot Shot☆～Chakkaseyo!! Daitan Emotion～) at Shibuya’s C.C Lemon Hall on August 29th!!

Tickets for this show are 4725 yen and are available from July 10th at Ticket Peer, Lawson Tickets, CN Playguide and e+

Lolita23q’s important announcement

On June 9th, Lolita23q have an important announcement to make!

That night, they will hold a live at Shibuya O-EAST entitled「THE LIVE」, and they will perform as 重大発表-ロリヰタ-23区@セッション (Juudai happyou – Lolita23q @ session), with the line-up as the same, just that Ryosuke will be on vocals and that they have a support bassist named コゴエ (Kogoe) (ex-キナルラ (kenllre), ex-GHOST as Shuon).

Reservation tickets have closed, however, you can still purchase for 3800 yen from May 8th or at the door for 4300 yen.

Doors will open at 16:30 and the the show will begin at 17:00.

Other bands that will be performing at「THE LIVE」will be アンド (AND), Mix Speaker’s,Inc., ViViD, ダウト (D=OUT) and SuG.

2nd major single for SuG

PS Company event

Well isn’t this interesting!
PS Company will be having an event on May 30th entitled 「TRIBAL ARIVALL Vol.100」at Shibuya AX!
The bands featuring are Alice Nine, Kra, SuG, SCREW, ViViD and also, a “mystery session band” formed by the company, THE 東京 HIGH BLACK (THE TOKYO HIGH BLACK)!

Tickets will go on sale from March 27th until May 26th and are 7,500 yen for standing while seat tickets are 8,000 yen, with an additional 500 yen for drinks.
Doors will be open at 16:00 and the event will start at 16:45.

So, any idea who will be in this mystery session band?

Another band has signed with a European label, this time SuG with CLJ Records! CLJ have posted a following announcement on their site:

We are very proud to announce our brand-new signing – SuG

Stay tuned for the digital release of their Major Debut Single “gr8 story” and the European release of the new album “TOKYO MUZiCAL HOTEL”!

Both will be released simoultaneous to the Japanese release “gr8 story” at the 27th January and “TOKYO MUZiCAL HOTEL” at March 9th.

SuG’s new album

Although they celebrated their major debut on January 27th with a new single, 「gr8 story」, SuG have announced that on March 9th, they will be releasing a major debut album called 「TOKYO MUZiCAL HOTEL」!

The album is coming out in two types, a first press edition and a regular press edition.

The first press edition costs 3900 yen, and contains the 13 track CD, along with a DVD that has 40 minutes worth of footage of behind the scenes at a PV shooting. Also included is a 48 page photobook.

SuG’s song in anime

Members of SuG sick

SuG has posted the following announcement on their OHP:

Thank you for always supporting SuG.

Yesterday, our vocalist Takeru and guitarist yuji both went to the hospital after complaining of feeling ill, and were diagnosed with infectious gastroenteritis.

As a result and in accordance to their doctor’s orders, and keeping in mind the safety of everyone attending, SuG are reluctantly unable to perform from November 16th until the 18th.

However, at our scheduled instore event on November 16th at I.D. DEAD PILOT ONE, masato, Chiyu and shinpei will be making an appearance.

The following performances are affected by this news:
November 16th – I.D. DEAD PILOT ONE Instore Event
November 17th – Serial⇔NUMBER Sponsored Event at Osaka MUSE
November 18th – Serial⇔NUMBER Sponsored Event at Nagoya E.L.L

Information regarding refunds for the lives on the 17th and 18th will be available in a few days.

For those of you who were looking forward to our live, we offer our heartfelt apologies.

Takeru a shop manager for a day

A few days ago, we talked about SuG teaming up with MALKO MALKA for two special collaborative items.

Well, they have now announced that Takeru will become a shop manager for one day at La Foret in Harajuku, which sells MALKO MALKA goods. On December 4th, Takeru will be working at the store, however, his stint as shop manager will be short lived, as it’s from 8:30pm until the store closes, at 10:30pm.

MALKO MALKA and SuG have also created a few special items, that are limited in number and are available only to those who reserve. Reservations are available from now until November 8th, and again from November 9th until the 27th. Those who reserve during the first session receive their items in December, and those who reserve in the second won’t get them until January.

What are the goods? Well, they have a jumper priced at 31290 yen, a backpack that’s 13440 yen and a tote bag which costs 8190 yen.
