This is cute! Megamasso has a surprise to fans who adore SHAZNA!
On February 16th, Megamasso will be releasing their new album “Loveless, more Loveless” and Ippuudou’s Tsuchiya Masami has been revealed as the producer of the record, which has become a topic in many places already.
Moreobver, one of the songs that will be featured on the album is “Sumire September Love (Megamasso feat. IZAM)”, which is also one Ippuudou’s songs and one of the best known songs out of 90s Visual-kei band SHAZNA’s covers. With respect to their great sempais, Megamasso have certainly made it a song with their own taste.
Moreover, IZAM, vocalist of SHAZNA, will also be appearing in the music video himself.
“It’s been roughly 10 years since that performance”, he said when reminiscing the actual time, when “Sumire September Love” was released along with the costumes and the make-up.
With the motto of “Making people regret watching the video in a wider sense”, the shooting had been planned and fans should be curios as to what kind of video it eventually has gotten to be.

SHAZNA’s last live dvd

New (and apparently last) live dvd for SHAZNA. It was filmed earlier this year on March 22, 2009 – it was called “Kanketsu – Last Live”. Also contains making of and some pvs! Dvd is set for release for July 1st and you can preorder at CD Japan already!

Anyone who follows MaitoreiA will know they do several radio appearances, well they are doing another one!

SHAZNA’s vocalist, IZAM has announced the birth of his second child!
IZAM’s wife, actress Yoshioka Miho, gave birth to their daughter today; six days late. However, both baby and mother are doing well. She weighed 2678 grams (roughly 6lbs) and “has big eyes”.

SHAZNA comes to a close

SHAZNA has announced that on March 22nd of next year at Shibuya O-EAST they will be performing their final live and disbanding after forming fifteen years ago.
They held an event to celebrate the release of their first essay, 『ホームレスヴィジュアル系』 (Homeless Visual-kei) which talks about the poverty from their indie days. IZAM announced that this was the conclusion of the band. They say that each of the members are conducting their own activities hereafter, and their decision to disband is a result of facing forward.
IZAM says that he wants to continue on in music and “step-up”, performing in musicals and acting on stage. AOI will continue on as a singer and songwriter and NIY stated that he would continue on with acting.

IZAM’s second child

IZAM, the vocalist of SHAZNA and his wife, actress Yoshioka Miho have announced come this November, they will have their second child!
The couple married in November of 2006 and had their first child, a baby boy, on April 17th, 2007.
IZAM appeared on the television show 「週刊えみぃSHOW」 (Shuukan Emi SHOW) on Sunday, where they asked him about the rumour of his divorce with his wife. He clarified that the rumour was not true at all and that they were expecting another child.

AOI’s baby girl

Back in February we posted about how SHAZNA’s guitarist and solo artist AOI married Japanese actress Akira Morimoto.
Well, the couple recently had their first child! Their first born is a sweet little girl who was born on June 6th at 10:15am at the Kawasaki city hospital, weighing nearly seven pounds (or 3035 grams). AOI has stated that both his wife and daughter are healthy and doing well.
When Akira went into labour AOI was in a meeting about a live, and he rushed from there to the hospital. AOI also mentioned that he was deeply moved by the perseverance of his wife during labour, and also says that he saw the intenseness of labour before his very eyes that is something men cannot endure.
Akira has also expressed her happiness, saying that her daughter is extremely adorable and she’s so happy that she’s been crying every day.
Last year, the vocalist of SHAZNA, IZAM and wife actress Yoshioka Miho had their first child – a baby boy. They jokingly wonder if the two children will get into music when they’re older, and say they’d love to help them out if they do.
