Talk about an overhaul! After graduating from the now defunct UNDERCODE PRODUCTIONS, REALies have completely remade themselves, starting with a new look and logo! They’ll also be releasing a brand new single in July, and they’ve planned a oneman tour and some special lives!

REALies’ Graduation

2013 hasn’t exactly been the best year for the visual kei scene, but here’s some good, refreshing news for all of you! REALies, who was signed with UNDER CODE PRODUCTIONS, will be graduating from the label and will become independent afterwards! You can join REALies in their graduation celebration at their oneman live that will be held on May 1st at Ash OSAKA. Here are the details if you plan on attending!

Lots of good news for 2013 for REALies fans!
First off, the band will be releasing a a B-side best album, called 「to「B」continued」on February 13th. The tracklist for the album is not yet available, but it will contain a total of 12 songs, including a new track and member selected tracks. The album will be out in two types, a Type A that costs 3990 yen and comes with a DVD, and a Type B that is 3360 yen, and has a bonus track.

Yesterday, September 12th, REALies re-released their single 「Plug[I]n」which until recently was not available anywhere other than special lives and a limited number on Undercode Production’s website. Originally released on March 1st, you can now get your hands on this rather rare single. The CD has two tracks and costs ¥1200. REALies, who had just released their latest mini album 「to the REAL」, have announced they’ll be releasing their first full album!
They’ll also be holding a seven-stop nationwide tour in celebration of the release, called 「Up to LEVEL.」, taking place throughout October!

Introducing: Rext

Rext is a brand new band that will start its activities in June!
The band counts five members:
Vocal: りく (Riku)
Guitar: ショウ (Shou)
Guitar: イオ (Io)
Bass: ゆん (Yun)
Drums: あづき (Aduki)
They already have their first released planned in form of a single! RESET comes out on June 6th and costs 1,260 yen. It will contain two tracks:

2. Re:alideal
Rext’s first live will be held at HOLIDAY OSAKA on June 2nd! Their single will already be on sale on that date. Buyers will receive a special favour. Other bands that will perform are Xepher, GLOSSA, DixdriveR, Vent Croix, リルト (Lilt) and Crimson Shiva. Tickets to the event cost 2,500 yen and go on sale on April 29th.
Next, they will be playing with Paradeis, Called≠Plan, FEST VAINQUEUR, BIOSPHIA and REALies at OSAKA MUSE on June 20th. Tickets are 3,500 yen and go on sale on April 30th.

Last but not least, they’ll be celebrating Maaya and Atake’s birthdays with events! On May 12th at Ikebukuro CYBER they will be having a birthday celebrating for Maaya, and on June 17th, for Atake. More details are to come at a later date.

REIYA from Lin’s Birthday Event

凛 (Lin) have announced that this spring, they iwll be having a birthday event for their drummer, REIYA!
The event wil be called 「REIYA生誕祭～大和魂燃え尽くせ～」 (REIYA Sentan Matsuri ~ Yamatodamashii Moezukuse~) and it will take place on April 18th at HOLIDAY NAGOYA.
Performing at the event are Lin, REALies, FUTURISM・BOYZ, Cu[be], BAELSCOPE, ISK;M, MILKY EMILY, Domestic, Avel Cain, and Black Klaxon.
Also included is REIYA with アイドル (Reiya with Idol), which includes REIYA, JOSE KOJI, CO- from FUTURISM・BOYZ, MIZUKI from Lin, Ren from Dali, and Shun also from FUTURISM・BOYZ.
Lastly, they will be having a big session band as well.
Tickets cost 3,300 yen and go on sale starting March 3rd.

Last lives for Kentz, featuring a few revivals

兼継 (Kentz), who is probably best known as the drummer for「あゃ」 (Aya), but was also in Le:view, Mars, Lusus, Sepia, GeNe, and did support for chariots, has announced two more performances, until he takes his leave from the stage. With his leaving, comes a few revivals from some old fan favourites!
The photo above is Kentz during his support stint with chariots; he is second from the right.
Planned for April, the events are titled “DREAMER with DEAR FRIENDS”. They are sponsored by KISAKI, and will be organized by UNDER CODE PRODUCTION.

New Year’s, often considered the most important holiday of the year in Japan, is celebrated in across the country in more ways than you can shake a stick at. Of course, the visual kei scene parties, and parties hard. While you may be familiar with oft-publicised events like UNDER CODE’s annual all-night party that tends last longer than most audience members can stay awake, there are really quite a few all-night shows! According to vkdb, a new band from Under Code Production『REALies』was formed.
The lineup is as follows:
Vocal: Rayka – ex.Synside
Guitar: 律(Ritsu) – ex.Ridiot
Guitar: N∀O – ex.Ridiot
Bass: 明イ(Akino) – ex.Synside
Drums: 一砂(Kazna)
The band will be releasing their First Maxi single「NuAGE」on July 13th.
There will be 2 types. Type A will cost 1890 yen while Type B will cost 1680 yen.
