It’s time to talk about Twitter again. As we know, many bandmen have opened their accounts and started sharing interesting details of their daily lives there. Or something else. 咲人 (Sakito) from ナイトメア (NIGHTMARE) also started tweeting back in March – to pass news about the disaster in Miyagi then.
In the end of September Sakito appeared on his followers’ timelines, but this time he was traveling – in India! Sadly he tweeted before going back to Japan, that he wasn’t able to learn yoga during his short stay.

We posted about Yoshiki donating his piano for the relief fund over here. Other artists are also helping. Gackt has organized the SHOW YOUR HEART FOUNDATION. Other artists include Ni~ya of Nightmare, Duel Jewel members, Shinya of LUNA SEA, Moran and YASU and many more!
Sales and discounts are also being donated including artist and designer Takuya Angel’s shop, who is donating all the proceeds to the Save the Heart Foundation. Nightmare’s big news – a major label change!

Remember when we told you about Nightmare’s unexpected live? 「publish!」 itself was cancelled because of the earthquake, but some news were revealed anyway through their website. The band will release a new single on May 18th under avex trax!
Other details of their label change hasn’t been announcent yet, but the cancelled live is rescheduled to March 31st. Maybe we hear more then.
The upcoming single is entitled as 「VERMILION.」 and comes in three types.

We told you about Nightmare’s mysterious countdown yesterday.
The countdown had ended less than an hour ago and it is an announcement of an unexpected live!
This live will be taking place just before their SPRING TOUR 2011 and they will be having some big announcement there.
Details of Nightmare unexpected LIVE 「publish!」 are as follows:
Date: March 11th (Fri)
Venue: Shinkiba STUDIO COAST.
Time: OPEN / START : 17:30 / 18:30
Tickets can be bought after Feb 27th (Sun) @ 5000 yen (all standing).
It will only be a one night live and fanclub members do have the privilege of buying the tickets first.

Nightmare’s mysterious countdown

Nightmare’s OHP have been updated with a mysterious countdown.
Last year, Nightmare had been celebrating their 10th Anniversary as a band with various projects, but of course it didn’t stop there. This year they will be going on their “NIGHTMARE Tour 2011 the time rewind to ZERO”, starting in April, which will yet again broaden their activities.
And before that, they have now started a mysterious countdown on their official homepage. The end of it will be reached on February 16th at 6:00pm Japanese time, but what is going to happen?
Will there be a big announcement?
What could it be about?
Fans are certainly musing over the various possibilities, right?

Tickets can be bought after March 12, 2011 (Sat) & are priced at 5500 yen.

ナイトメア (Nightmare) have been mainly celebrating their 10th anniversary this year, having lots of special lives and releasing special anniversary collections. It seems that this trend is not over and the band has announced few more things, mainly a 10th anniversary album, new tour and a special concert at the end of December.

Nightmare’s Nico Nico Show

ナイトメア (Nightmare) will be starting a regular live show broadcasted online through Nico Nico Live!
The show is called 「爆烈！ナイトメア」 (Bakuretsu! Nightmare) and the show’s concept is “doing your best”. The contents will feature of course, the members, however, they’re taking on the challenge of a “radio drama”. They’ve invited “wonderful” guests, and their drama is called 「ガンバル戦隊メアレンジャー」 (Ganbaru Sentai-mare Rangers).
Viewers will be able to comment on the show, giving the band and guests a chance to interact with those who are watching.
The show starts on April 8th at 11:00pm (Japan time) through http://live.nicovideo.jp.

On April 28th, ナイトメア (Nightmare) will be releasing 「NIGHTMARE 10th anniversary special act vol.1
GIANIZM 〜天魔覆滅〜」 (Tenma Fukumetsu) in three different types; a special box set, a DVD only version and a CD only version.
So, we’ll start with the Special Box set, which costs 10000 yen and is a limited edition.
As posted on CDJapan:
Live DVD release from Nightmare featuring footage from their concert performance on January 9, 2010 at Saitama Super Arena. This special box edition includes a bonus DVD featuring footage from their countdown concert performance on December 31, 2009 at Zepp Sendai, and a bonus CD featuring audio recording from their Saitama Super Arena concert.
The DVD only version is a two disc DVD set that costs 5800 yen, and again, features footage from their live on January 9th.
The CD only version also contains two discs, but costs 3000 yen. The CD contains the audio recording from their show on the 9th, but the tracklist does differ from that of the live DVD. This version also comes with a trading card.
Each release also comes with a coupon for a special project they are planning to celebrate 10 years.

RUKA’s solo project

RUKA from ナイトメア (Nightmare) has announced the official start of his solo project, 「The LEGENDARY SIX NINE」, which for RUKA, will be a ‘new blooming flower’ that he can’t express through Nightmare.
They also say that RUKA will create a new world, that is completely unique.
The “first round” of his solo project features HAKUEI from PENICILLIN, and rapper, TWIGY.
On March 24th, hewill be releasing a single called 「Cruel」 which is coming out in two types. The first press edition comes with both the single plus a DVD for 1890 yen, and the regular press is 1575 yen for the CD only.
