ネオン (Neon) will be disbanding after their sponsored 3-man on September 15th. Here is an official announcement, which was posted on each member’s blog:

We have an announcement for all of the fans who have been supporting Neon.

We have decided that after the Neon sponsored three man live on September 15th, we will be disbanding.

This is the most positive answer we arrived at after much discussion between the members.

It’s only been a short eight months since we started our activities, and although they’re coming to an end, we are truly grateful for Neon the band and the fans who have encountered our music.

We only have a short time remaining, but so that we can finish with no regrets, we want to show you all of our gratitude.

We are sincerely sorry to all of our fans for having to make this type of announcement.

We hope that you will support us until the end.

The members of Neon

The sponsored 3-man live will take place, as mentioned above, on September 15th at Ikebukuro BlackHole. It will be entitled 「ten to sen to en」. Other two bands participating at the event 楽團孤独 (Gakudan Hitori) and 閃光一座 (Senkou Ichiza).

If you preorder your tickets via Neon (which are 2800 yen in advance and 3300 yen at the door), you’ll get a special memorial DVD! What is more, they’ll be selling a live-limited single entitled (temporarily)「心音starry」(Shinon starry). It will include 2 songs, cost 1000 yen and be limited to 300 copies only. Finally, they’ll be also distributing a CD called 「picture one’s future」.

We’ve promised to keep you updated about the band and since there are some new details available, let me share them with you.

First of all, Neon has finally set an official homepage, which is located here.

Secondly, there are official profile photos of the members. It also seems that うらら (Urala) will only be a guest guitarist though.

Furthermore, the band has announced the release of their 1st single! It will be entitled 「Sweet Hearts」 and go on sale on the 21st of July for 1575 yen. What is more, it will be limited to 500 copies only. The tracklist is as follows:

01. 春奏OVER (Harusou OVER)
02. ナミダ星。 (Namida Hoshi.)
03. Sweet Hearts

All the buyers will get the B-Type of a bonus DVD. The only problem is that you can buy the CD only at the Like an Edison stores… However, if you attend their first sponsored event on the 23rd of June at Ikebukuro RUIDO K4, when they’ll be pre-seling the CD, you’ll get the A-Type bonus DVD.

And finally, the band will be distributing their first CD at the live on the 12th of April at Shibuya RUIDO K2!

The new band I want to talk about is ネオン (Neon). There are unluckily not many details known, since the band hasn’t announced their OHP yet, but here are the band’s members:

Vocal: りくと (Rikuto) | ex. Ansem Elliott.
Guitar: うらら (Urala)| ex. ポワトリン (Poitrine)
Guitar: 茜 | ex. umbrella
Guitar: 少年カズハネ (Shounen Kazuhane)| ex. ZiL (Support)
Bass: 銀。 (Gin.)
Drums: しかの (Shikano) | ex. デルフィニウム (Delphinium)

It seems that the band will have their first official live on the 16th of February at Ikebukuro CYBER. We will keep you updated once more details about the band are available.
