MeLt, who after having lost their bassist Ten in March, have decided that they will disband this coming July.
A Message from MeLt
Thank you for always supporting MeLt.
As announced at out live show on the 30th of April, we will be disbanding after our live show in Ash OSAKA on the 5th of July. Yuki suggested we disband. We have gone on this far but it is with great difficulty we have made this decision.
Below are comments from each of the members.

I am very sorry that it had to come to this to all our friends, staff and everyone who has supported us.
I really am sorry to our fans who have been with us since we started three years ago. I’m sorry we didn’t keep our promise to not break up. But if everyone stays with us we will do our best until the end. We learned how to have fun at lives from you. You gave my voice power in the lyrics and that is what will keep our band going. Together we were discouraged and encouraged, we laughed and cried. I have met amazing fans and that’s a treasure to me.
Before we break up it’s important we play in big venues. It’s important to me. MeLt’s disbandment is disappointing, lonely and sad as well as a lot of other feelings. I am disappointed, lonely and sad too.
But the biggest flowers don’t blossom until the end. I want us to leave behind something new. Let’s walk together until the end.

The word “disbandment” doesn’t fit exactly because the intense feeling we each have for MeLt and our fans won’t change. But for us to grow, we have to go our separate ways.

I know nothing about visual kei. I have almost no band experience either. It was aspiration and curiosity that drew us four together.
We didn’t know our right from our left but with the help of our fans we were brought to adulthood. With all the cooperation from our staff and everyone else, the advice and encouragement we continued to receive, it really was the best fun.
Being in MeLt really was fun. Thank you so much for all your support. Thanks for being with us until the very end.

Their last live, “MeLdriveR” will take place on July fifth at Ash OSAKA. Tickets will cost ￥3000 (￥3500 day of) and tickets went on sale on the 12th. DixdriveR will also be performing.

Sad news for MeLt fans, due to home situations, bassist Ten has decided to leave MeLt. His last live was on March 2nd.
■An important announcement from MeLt
Due to the current situation at home, it has been decided that MeLt’s bassist, Ten, will depart after the Ten-sponsored withdrawl [live], “Sotsugyou,” on March 2nd at Osaka LIVE HOUSE D’.
We would like to deeply thank and apologize to all the MeLc* who have supported Ten through MeLt, and to all the staff who have assisted us.
Please treat us kindly as MeLt including Ten, until his last live on 3/2.

Introducing: AvelCain

I don’t know about you, but my favorite thing is finding new, promising bands! It also tends to help heal the number of disbandments we’ve been hearing about as of late. So, without further ado, let me introduce AvelCain!
AvelCain is a new heavy-metalesque Visual Kei band that appeared on the Tokyo circuit back in early 2012. It’s only been recently that anything has come of the band, other than a heavy number of lives, as they were signed to Shimizuya Records on November 25th (You probably know Shimizua records as the label currently hosting Lycaon). The band consists of six members (I know there are only 5 people in the photograph, so please bear with me!) with their sound emphasizing vicious harmonics (both bass and drums are heavily highlighted) along with dual guitars and melodic (albeit terrifying and slightly morbid) vocals. This is a band that enjoys the atmosphere of the stage, so music and visual aesthetic are top-notch.

AvelCain will be releasing its first single, titled 『蛇と姑獲鳥』(Hebi to Ubume) on February 20th, 2013. A track list has yet to be announced, but we do know that two versions will be available for ¥1600 each.
In addition to this first single release, AvelCain will be participating in two special tours! The first will be Shimizuya Records Presents『 Cultivate the fields.』Tour. Further information is listed below about each concert! Doors open at 15:00 (unless otherwise noted) with tickets costing ¥3300/¥4300.

MeLt’s new single

At the end of November, MeLt-メルト。 will be releasing a brand new single!
Their first country-wide release was July 25th of this year, with the single, 「キズナ」(Kizuna).
Now on November 28th, they’ll be releasing another brand new CD called 「星降る夜」 (Hoshi Furu Yoru), in three types.
Type A will cost 1890 yen, contain the title track plus a second currently untitled track (A), as well as a DVD with the music video for 「星降る夜」 (Hoshi Furu Yoru).
Type B, which is 1575 yen, comes with three tracks, but instead has untitled track (B) and untitled track (C).
Type C is also 1575 yen, with three tracks, but the third track is instead untitled track (D).
In just a few days, on September 23rd, Melt will be having a two year anniversary oneman live at HOLIDAY OSAKA. Tickets are 3000 yen a piece.

LUCHe. is a new band whose website opened last month, with their activities beginning on March 31st.

LUCHe.’s first live will be in celebration of this single. Fans who purchase 七色story at the date will receive a special privilege. Their schedule counts two more events after that.
