KYOKUTOU GIRL FRIEND, who disbanded last summer, has announced some new releases – these include live DVD of their last concert at Shinjuku LOFT, single collection album, third and last press of their album 勝手にしやがれ (Katte ni Shiyagare), and a photobook.
The live DVD FAR EAST LULLABY will come out October 26th and costs 7,140 yen. The DVD contains their last live at Shinjuku LOFT July 29th “uncut and uncensored” and special documents on disc two.
On November 23rd the band has two album releases planned. Single collection, entitled as SINGLES, costs 3,360 yen and includes two discs. Disc 1 has 11 songs from 2008-2009 and disc 2 has 12 songs from 2010-2011. Third press of their first full album 勝手にしやがれ (Katte ni Shiyagare) will cost 3,150 yen.
Photobook LULLABY is already on sale actually, and available via mail order – even to overseas, so check this page if you are interested!

Today’s fact is about ZORO! Do you remember when Mija wrote about their comeback live? It is successfully over, but do you want to know who were the support members?

Teruki (An Cafe) and Ketch (ex-KYOKUTOU GIRL FRIEND)!
They are still searching for new members or supports, so unfortunately it seems that these two won’t join the band officially.
Anyway – ZORO also has released new single 「POLICE」 during our hiatus, and here is official preview of the PV.

Thomas releasing their first mini album

It was announced that THOMAS will be releasing their first mini-album on 2nd November this year. The title is “Determination”, it will contain 6 tracks and official cost of the mini is 2,100 yen. The tracklist follows:

3. パルス (Pulse)
4. Social Puzzle
5. 血の轍 (Chi no tetsu)
6. Determination
Oh and by the way, cd jacket, tour goods etc are all designed by Hayashida Rinda of ex.KYOKUTOU GIRL FRIEND, and this is apparently not the first time he designed for THOMAS!

KYOKUTOU GIRL FRIEND have announced that they will be disbanding on July 29th at Shinjuku LOFT, after completing a oneman tour through Osaka, Nagoya and Tokyo.

After our solo performances in Tokyo, Nagoya and Osaka in July, 2011, KYOKUTOU GIRL FRIEND’s activities will end.
The four of us who started the band,

KYOKUTOU GIRL FRIEND’s side project – F’Ar÷EAST†KANφJO

It seems that KYOKUTOU GIRL FRIEND has decided to form a side project of sorts called F’Ar÷EAST†KANφJO. On the top of their site they have a text which says:
Laugh into the darkness xxxx kiss the rose of decadence, you who bloomed madly, and ecstasy’s melody・・・
Anyway, the members’ new names and looks are:
Vocal: LINDA || 林田倫堕 (Hayashida Rinda）
Guitar: KETCH || ケッチ (Ketch）
Bass: SEXY ROSE SULLEY || サリー (Sally）
Drums: AMφN || 亜門 (Amon)
Their first live will take place on the KYOKUTOU GIRL FRIEND’s sponsored event on May 14th at HOLIDAY SHINJUKU, which will be held under the title 「”GIGS” WEEKLY KGF＿2」.
It seems that they’ll release a demo tape called 「エクスタシー」(Ecstasy) as well. It’s entitled the same as the upcoming KYOKUTOU GIRL FRIEND’s single, so it’s a little bit confusing.

Great news for all KYOKUTOU GIRL FRIEND’s fans!
Tthey’re going to release a live album on September 29th, which is going to be entitled 「実録ハードコア＋サイレンス」(Jitsuroku Hardcore + Silence). It will include a CD entitled 「ハードコア」(Hardcore)＋and a 36-page booklet with live photos called「サイレンス」(Silence). It will cost 3150 yen and be limited to 1000 copies only.
Finally, to commemorate the release they’ll hold two instore events:

KYOKUTOU GIRL FRIEND’s first full album second press

There was an earlier post of the band’s first full album release here.
Following the release of the the first edition CD, selling out at a rapid speed, it has been officially decided today to hurry and make more prints of the album, coming out with a normal edition of「勝手にしやがれ」 (Katte ni Shiyagare). Release date will be on February 24th, 2010. The CD will also cost 3,150 yen as the previous edition and be limited to 1000 more copies. The CD will come with a band comment CD, original band member autograph card, and a band member photo card as the original print. Normal edition comes with a case, new 24-page photo booklet, and a photo sticker.

Do you remember the really exciting news about KYOKUTOU GIRL FRIEND’s first full album, which we have shared with you not so long ago here? Finally, there are more details about the CD!
So, first of all, the release date was postponed from December to the 13th of January. Secondly, 「勝手にしやがれ」 (Katte ni Shiyagare) will cost 3150 yen and be limited to 1000 copies only. The cover isn’t known yet, but the tracklist was already published on their OHP, so here it goes:

Born has announced that they’ll be sponsoring two lives in October and November at Takadanobaba AREA!
The lives are scheduled for October 28th and November 26th and are titled 『bug screamo VOL.05』 and 『bug screamo VOL.06』. Playing along side Born on the 28th is KYOKUTOU GIRL FRIEND and xTRiPx as well as others that have not yet been announced.
At the moment the only other band listed to play on with Born on November 25th is Administrator, however it does also say others so more bands may be listed soon!
Tickets are 2,800 yen in advance and 3,300 at the door for both lives but are not available for sale yet.

KYOKUTOU GIRL FRIEND keeps a good rythm between each releases, approximatly 6 months after 堕落論 (Darakuron), the band will be releasing its third maxi-single on August 26th !
This new single is called 禁忌 (Taboo), and as the two previous singles, it will contain 3 tracks for 1575 yen. And as always, it’s limited to 1000 copies, so those of you who want to buy it should hurry !

KYOKUTOU GIRL FRIEND, Lycaon and DI3SIRAE will all be featured on the new release, 「さわやか3組 2009」 (Sawayaka 3kumi 2009) which is coming out on May 6th.
It’s a three track release that features one song by each band:
KYOKUTOU GIRL FRIEND – 「拝啓、売国奴の皆様 靖國の空が哭いています」 (Haikei, Baikokudo no Minasama Seikoku no Sora ga Naiteimasu) (New Song)

KYOKUTOU GIRL FRIEND, ヒトツメ (Hitotsume) and 白黒キネマ (Monokuro Kinema) are teaming up for a three man event on July 3rd at Ikebukuro CYBER!
The even is called 【合法サブカルチャー vol.1】 (Gouhou Subculture; Legal Subculture) and it will cost 2900 yen to attend. General ticket sales start May 24th.

Good news for Lucy

Yesterday Lucy announced that they will release their second maxi-single on December 24th! The title and tracks of the single have yet to be determined, but the band will announce them as soon as they’re decided, and we’ll make sure to post the details here on S-T.net as well.
As for more good news, the band has also decided to hold their first sponsorship event on December 10th. Bands participating are Sugar(guest), emmuree, L’eprica, KYOKUTOU GIRL FRIEND, ReivieЯ and dis C, and at the event Lucy will also have a presale for the second maxi-single!
The name of the event is “THE SEVEN DEADLY SINS ～七つの大罪 (Nanatsu no daizai) The disorderly world～“, and the tickets which cost 2,500yen in advance went on sale yesterday (Sep 27) through Lucy. You can also buy tickets for the event through Lawson starting on October 16 and through the other bands from October 23 onwards.
