If you just can’t get enough of your favorite bands’ off-stage shenanigans, here’s a little bit of live entertainment that may tickle your fancy: several bands participate in radio shows on LIVECAST.jp, an internet radio site, and you too can tune in for your favorite time blocks!

I know their upcoming album was announced quite a while ago, but seeing that we haven’t posted the news yet on S-T, I thought it would be nice to put out a little reminder or spread the word about their album to the S-T community!

If you visit Kra’s HP you’ll see a glipse of the new pv with their new member! We talked about the new release over here and we talked about Taizo joining the band officially over here but their myspace has a new message up and thought you guys might want to read it.

“TAIZO” had been supporting the band as a guitarist and we would like to inform you, that he has now joined Kra officially as a new member.
This year, on September 11th, Kra will be heading towards their new 10th Anniversary and with this new band member, they will keep heading forward as always.
We hope for your support for Kra in the future as well!

A few months ago, we told you about Mai’s retirement, leaving Kra with 3 members.
Now the band has found their new guitarist.
According to PS Company’s website, タイゾ(Taizo) (ex.Zoro) has officially joined Kra as their new guitarist.
Not only that, their OHP have also been updated with the band’s new look with タイゾ(Taizo).
So what do you guys think about the new look?

Kra’s new maxi single

Good news for fans of Kra.
The band will be releasing a new maxi single.
The single will be titled 「不思議な世界からの招待状」(fushigi na sekai karano shoutaijou) and it will be released on June 1st.
So far not much information of the new maxi single have been announced but it will be available in 2 types.
The [CD+DVD Limited edition] will cost 1890 yen and the [CD only Regular edition] will cost 1000 yen.

Maru Music is having yet another cool contest, this time its for the band Kra!
Here’s something exciting to start off the New Year. Kra fans, it’s time to show your artistic skills. To celebrate the release of Kra’s hit album “Twinkle Star Best 2006-2009”, Maru Music is having a fan art contest. This time its not just any fan art contest, the contest is to design a poster featuring the superstars of Visual-kei. As Kra’s style is bright and colorful, Kra would like to see how the fans could display their style. Do you draw fan art? Are you a fan of Kra? Enter the Kra “Twinkle Star” Fan Made Poster Contest today and show your artwork with a Kra theme.
Contest Description:
Show us your artistic skills by submitting a Kra themed Poster to Maru Music. Create an original poster that’s based on their latest US Release “Twinkle Star BEST 2006-2009.” It can feature the Kra band members or an original creation. A team of Maru Judges will review the posters and the artist who best displays Kra’s theme will win a Prize Pack including a copy of Kra’s hit album “Twinkle Star.”The submission deadline is Feb 8th, 2011 so don’t delay.
How to Enter:
Create an original piece of art based on the Kra theme. Submit a high quality picture or scan of your artwork to circle@marumusic.com. All Entries must be received by 12:00 P.M. Kra updated with a new look and picture on their homepage. Its a cute picture of the guys, hope the guys are starting the new year with a bang. Looks a bit off as a trio but I believe in them ^^O!!!
The guys also took time out of their schedule to make a video for fans who joined the PS COMPANY fan club over here.

Kra down to 3 – Mai to retire

This came to shock to me, but it seems lovable guitarist Mai is going to be leaving Kra at their TOUR FINAL 2010 Heart to Heart ~Kanjo no Rinkaku~ that will be held on December 28th, 2010 at Shibuya C.C.Lemon Hall. Mai, who hasn’t updated his blog has been said to be ill for some time and is taking this retirement to focus on himself and to getting better. An official announcement from their OHP and blog does state the remaining 3 members will continue on despite losing Mai but ask for fans’ continued support.
We would like to inform you that, after Kra’s TOUR FINAL 2010 “Heart to Heart ~Kanjo no Rinkaku~”, to be held on December 28th, 2010 (Tue) at Shibuya C.C.Lemon Hall, Kra’s guitarist Mai will be withdrawing from the music industry.
He had been continuing his musical activities for a long time, despite poor health and as the result of lengthy discussions with Mai himself, the other band members of Kra, as well as the staff, it has been decided that he will “retire” in order to concentrate on his physical treatment.
Concerning Kra – the band will continue their musical activities with the three remaining band members Keiyuh (Vo), Yuhra (Ba) and Yasuno (Dr) and we hope you will unchangingly keep up your support and encouragement for them.
It is our wish that you greet Mai for his last time as the guitarist of Kra together with everyone.2010/12/13

Great news! Kra is going to release a new album next November. Entitled as 「GURICO」 it will come out November 24th.
Regular edition costs 3,150 yen and contains only CD. Limited edition with bonus DVD costs 3,990 yen. Other details aren’t yet announced.
They also have new outfits. What do you like?

Strange sessions are always made of stinky coolness. One session that is pretty random is THE HIGH TOKYO BLACK, which consists of 3 PS COMPANY boys. Can you guess who are these guys? Shouldn’t be too hard to figure out! *hint look at the tags!*

Its Nao (Kagrra), Keiyuu (KRA) and Tora (Alice Nine)! Now how did this weird and wacky session start? They actually premiered at TRIBAL ARIVALL Vol.99 earlier this month. They have another show on May 30th (TRIBAL ARIVALL Vol. 100) with other PS COMPANY bands, including KRA, Alice Nine, SCREW, ViViD and SuG! You can view their myspace over here.

Kra have announced that on July 7th, they will be releasing a new LIVE DVD! The DVD will be called 『TOUR 2010 FINAL 「日本全国満開宣言～咲きまくり警報発令～野音開きだよ 全員集合!! Part 2」』 (Nihonzenkoku Mankai Sengen ~ Sakimakuri Keihou Hatsurei ~ Nooto Hiraki da yo Zenin Shuugou).
Along with the new DVD, they will be releasing not only a brand new single on August 18th, but a new full album in November!

Well isn’t this interesting!
PS Company will be having an event on May 30th entitled 「TRIBAL ARIVALL Vol.100」at Shibuya AX!
The bands featuring are Alice Nine, Kra, SuG, SCREW, ViViD and also, a “mystery session band” formed by the company, THE 東京 HIGH BLACK (THE TOKYO HIGH BLACK)!
Tickets will go on sale from March 27th until May 26th and are 7,500 yen for standing while seat tickets are 8,000 yen, with an additional 500 yen for drinks.
Doors will be open at 16:00 and the event will start at 16:45.
So, any idea who will be in this mystery session band?

New year is creeping up on us! Anyone have any plans?
Today’s fact is about age – did you know that Keiyuu of Kra has the year of his birth listed on his blog? Not many musicians in the scene are actually open about their age so its not only unique but cool to see his actual age.
What year was he born in? 1981! His birthday is coming up in February so be sure to wish him a happy birthday!
