Did you know that before he was called JEKYLL the singer for unique band Elm was known as Tetora of Kamikaze Boyz?

Its great that all of Kamikaze Boyz are in groups now…Syuri is in Girl Goomie and of course Keiji and Shingo are in Mix Speaker’s Inc.

Any other bandmates you were happy to see in new groups this year?

Thanks to cryptomayhem for letting us know that Takahiro, ex. baggy-bogy has started up a new band called Girl Goomie (ガールグゥミー) So far the members include:

Vo. Takahiro (ex. baggy-bogy）
Gu. Run (ex. kurikara)
Ba. Shuri (ex. Kamikaze Boyz)

Their first live will take place on July 28th at Meguru LIVE STATION. They also have an official blog for the band which can be found HERE

Neu has decided the members of the session band they promised to do on September 3rd while Jun is still in bad condition. The name of the session band will be HeaRt. It was the name of the band before they were Neu.

An event that looks pretty spiffy.

Next year there will be an event on January 29th at Shibuya BOXX entitled “Kiteru! Festival ’08″ (キテる！祭’０８) and it looks very interesting.

The MCing will be left up to Nono (from v (Neu)) and Aki (from -OZ-)
And the details on the performances as released so far are:
・ v (Neu)
・ -OZ-
・ MASQUERADE (featuring TOWA (ex-∧ucifer) and MINAMI (ex-MASK))
・ SOMATIC GUARDIAN
・ Watashime
・ TAKERU SOLIDERS (featuring Kazuki (ex-Bergerac), Michiru (ex-MASK), JET (ex-R*A*P) and Natsuka (ex-Marusa))
・ Tobiiri Session Band (featuring Tetora and Shuri (ex-Kamikaze Boyz) and others)
・ Yotsu★Restaurant (featuring Kaito (ex-MOUSE), Kae (ex-Lilac Berry), Fumiya (ex-MAG) and Masashi (ex-MADARA))
・ Kiteru! Band (The member line-up will be released on December 19th)

Ah, it’s nice to see so many ‘ex’ members back and doing something.
I have to say, I’m ESPECIALLY excited about Tetora and Shuri; I really enjoyed the Kamikaze Boyz and Tetora was always so nice. MINAMI does a lot of supprt drumming, but I’m always excited to see him back on the scene as well. Looks like it’d be a fun night.

Of course, the two band members I’d die to see return to the scene have been M.I.A for so long that it seems ridiculously unlikely. That’s how this scene goes though, isn’t it.
