We hesitated a bit with posting this information since it was brought to our attention on April Fool’s Day, but now we can confirm that this is, indeed, true!
Jupiter is a 5-member band with Universal Music Japan. The branch they are debuting under is more directed towards Western music and an international audience, so it’s rumored that their activities are more directed globally.
The line-up will seem very familiar to many of you; with the exception of the vocalist (ZIN), all of the previous members of Versailles are a part of Jupiter.

Information on their OHP right now is scarce, but they have confirmed their first single release will be in Summer 2013 titled “Blessing of the Future” under the record label Thunderball667.
Their first live will be on April 17th at Takadanobaba AREA. They have a couple of others too, so check out the information if your interest is piqued yet:

Souiumono’s New Maxi-Single, Tour and One Man

Souiumono’s been a bit quiet as of late, but it seems that there was a very good reason! The band recently announced on its OHP that Souiumono will be releasing a new Maxi-Single titled 「殺人鬼の棲む街」 “Satsujinki no Sumu Machi” on May 15th! Information on the maxi-single, such as price, track listing and such have yet to be released, but when we receive more information you can be sure that we will update you!
In addition to the new single, Souiumono will be participating in「MY littleHEARTS.Tour Edition Vol.2」which will be hitting 14 stops throughout Japan, starting in late May! All tickets are ¥4000/¥4500 with doors opening at 16:00/17:00. Bands on this tour include Souiumono, Megamasso, Kameleo, DaizyStripper, Blu-BiLLioN, Alsdead, and others. Now that SCREW has gone major, their live activities are increasing!
In addition to their current XANADU tour, the band has announced a few oneman shows and events.
First is the announcement of two shows in the same day, titled 「プラチナイトショー」 (Platinum Night Show). They will take place on December 23rd at Takadanobaba AREA. Tickets will be ￥4000 advance/￥4500 at the door, and regular ticket sales start on December 1st.
Next, SCREW will be holding an event called 「ROYAL NIGHT SHOW」 on January 20th at Takadanobaba AREA. What makes it so special? Well, the dress code is to wear jerseys/tracksuits! Tickets for this will be ￥3800 advance/￥4300 at the door. A regular ticket sales date has not been announced yet, so keep checking back if you want to go!

Kameleo’s 390 yen single, anniversary oneman, and tour

カメレオ (Kameleo), who just released their most recent single on Septmeber 5th, will be putting out another release this December!
The band started in January of this year, and since they are reaching their one year anniversary, they will be releasing a commemorative thank you single. The title is 『始まりの歌』 (Hajimari no Uta), and it will be out on December 12th. The single will only cost 390 yen, and will come with one single, plus a DVD.

Also in celebration of making it through one year, they’ll be holding an anniversary live on January 13th at Shinjuku BLAEZE. The live is called 「みなさんのおかげでしたっ！」 (Minasan no Okagedeshita !). Tickets to the shoe cost 3500 yen, and all those who attend will receive a DVD containing the PV and making of footage for 「始まりの歌」 (Hajimari no Uta). Futhermore, fans who spend more than 5000 yen on goods at the show can get a documentary DVD containing footage from the band’s first oneman.
Last but not least, Kameleo will be having their first six city, country-wide tour in 2013, called 「拡散希望」 (Kakusan Kibou).

Announced today, Maverick DC Group is holding open voting for their latest event, DANGER CRUE x SHINJUKU LOFT 35th Anniversary PRESENTS J-ROCK EXPLOSION 2012 「華麗なる激情-Splendid Violent Emotion Vol.3」at Ebisu Liquid Room on 2012.7.28. So far, the bands performing consist of ALSDEAD, D.I.D, ギルガメッシュ (Girugamesh), カメレオ (Kameleo), ユナイト (Unite), and Maverick DC All Stars. The event in which the opener will perform is named 「華麗なる登龍門」(Karei naru Toryuumon). Tickets are ￥3500 and are already on sale.
Here’s where you come in! Twelve bands are in the running for the opening act, and Maverick has opened international voting to determine the winner. Web voting will take place form 6.20 to 7.15, and the winner will be announced on July 20th. The bands in the running are!:

The third instalment on the CRUSH! series of 90′s visual rock cover songs has been announced! As the title suggests, this released will be centred around love songs. It comes out on June 27th and costs 3,150 yen.
Interesting to note is that one of the bands participating is comprised of members of different bands! It’s called CRASH 49 and the members are: ν［NEU］’s みつ (Mitsu) on vocal, ギルド (Guild)’s YOSHIHIRO and OZ’s Aki on guitar, NoGoD’s 華凛 (Karin) on bass and D’s HIROKI on drums.

A couple of weeks ago, we talked about the release of カメレオ (Kameleo)’s first single, 「捏造ピエロ」 (Netsuzou Pierrot)!

Kameleo: Something New, Something Old

If you don’t remember, we introduced to you guys earlier a band called Kameleo. The details on the band were very limited– no band member identities, no blogs, no info except that they’re releasing a demonstration album.
However, there are now full details on their OHP now! And more ever, their appearance has been revealed. Do they look familiar to anyone…? No? Well maybe it’ll help you if I gave you their names and their faces. Here are the members:
Left to Right: Ba. Kouichi, Gt. Takashi, Vo. Hikaru, Gt. Daisuke, Dr. Takeshi
Yes, these are the members of Kalvary who disbanded earlier in January 2011! However, Botan now goes by Daisuke, and Cinema now goes as Hikaru. I hope you Kalvary fans are happy to see them back in the music scene! I’m certainly surprised, and a little perplexed, but most definitely glad to see them again.
So, any excited Kalvar–I mean, Kameleo fans out there?

Today, we’re introducing to you a new band– Kameleo! Their unique appearance gets me already…! As of now, info on the band is very limited. The banner at the right hand corner says that the info will be revealed at a later date! How mysterious!
Anyways, on their OHP, it’s revealed that they will release a demonstration album on November 16th. There will be five tracks in total, and they are:
