Isshi passes away

It has been announced on the shiki∞project OHP that vocalist Isshi “fell into an eternal sleep” at his home on July 18th.
A funeral has already taken place for his relatives and close friends.
No other information about his passing has been released.
The dinner show, 『鬼婚』 (Kikon) that was scheduled for July 28th and 29th have been rescheduled as a memorial for Isshi.
Isshi was probably best known as the vocalist for Kagrra,. We offer our sincere condolences to his family and friends.

Kagrra to release Indies BEST album

Kaggra, recently announced the release of their last live DVD.
Now the band have announced on an Indies Best Album.
The album will be entitled『Kagrra Indies BEST 2000～2003』and will be released on June 29th.
The album will include their best songs from their indies period.
The album is already available for preorder and will cost 3150 yen.

Good news for fans from Kagrra, which have disbanded earlier this year: Vocalist Isshi has a new solo project!
After the “DEMISE” of Kagrra, fans have been anxious as to know what the coming projects of the band members would be and eagerly anticipated all new moves.
It has now been revealed that vocalist Isshi has started his new project called “Shiki-project”, for which a homepage has just been set up. (OHP: http://www.shiki-project.com/ blog: http://ameblo.jp/shiki-isshi/)
Next to participating in number of reading and poetry events, he will be releasing his first solo single already on May 5th, 2011 and samples are also available.Make sure to check out his new project, while anticipating also news from the other members.

Kagrra, – Last Live DVD

As we told you here, Kagrra has disbanded back on March 3rd and has just announced that they’ll release their last live as a DVD.
For all of those who weren’t able to go, for all of those who don’t want to forget these last moments, the DVD is readily available for pre-order. The package will include, next to the main DVD, a 48-page booklet and a documentary of the band’s last rehearsal on a second DVD.

Thanks to Shu-san for emailing us about Kagrra’s last look. It also seems that Kagrra posted their last translated message to those who are a member of the PS Company fan club.
As Kagrra, have announced their “DEMISE” they have now send out their messages to the members of the GLOBAL PS COMPANY FAN CLUB.
It has been released in English and Japanese along with beautiful pictures of Kagrra,.
We hope these messages will mend the broken heart of Kagrra,’s fan just a little.Let’s take a look at the interview.

It’s mysterious. I know there have been hard and troublesome times; however, looking back at it now, I can only remember happy things. With all my heart I think that these ten years I spent as Isshi of Kagrra, were great.

It seems the rumors are true. With great sadness, S-T.net can now officially confirm Kagrra,’s sudden decision to disband.

The Demise
We wish to announce that it has come to it that, as of the Thursday, March 3, 2011 concert at C.C. Lemon Hall in Shibuya, Kagrra, who had been continually active since their June 3, 2000 formation, will cease activities as a band.
For giving us your support over these 10 years, we thank you most sincerely.
The band members, as well, humbly offer their most heartfelt gratitude.
Embracing everybody’s feelings of gratitude, we will release one more album, titled “Hyakki Kenran,” on Wednesday, February 2, 2011. We will hold a countrywide “Angya – Hyakki Yakou ~Hi~” (“Pilgrimage – Mischief Night – Sun”) tour commencing on February 13, 2011, and concluding with the March 3, 2011 “Shuuen -Sakura mai chiru ano oka de~” (“The end ~Upon that hill where the sakura flutter~”) live at Shibuya’s C.C. Lemon Hall.
It’s naught but a short time we have left, but we hope for your continued favor in supporting us to the end.

Looks like after having to postpone their live in Nagano due to Isshi losing his voice, he’s making a nice recovery!
Isshi updated his blog this morning with the following entry:
Everyone, thank you for all of the encouraging messages!!
When I really thought about it, I realized that you guys, not knowing anything, were probably more anxious than I was.
But I’m okay.
I slept more than I have for a long time, and even though my voice still hasn’t really returned and I can’t speak properly yet, I feel like I’m getting better!!
I am so sorry to everyone who came to Nagoya to see us…
But I’ll get all better, and for your sake, my vooice will make its return!!
I think all that happened was that all sorts of things piled up, and I lost the proper balance between my mind and my body.
I’m heading out now to get some tests done.
I guess you all have school or work now, so do your best!!

Earlier today, Isshi updated again with the following message. Note that the italicized portion at the bottom was originally written in English on his blog.
I just got home.
First off all, from the results [of the tests], I’m all better!!
I’ll need a little more time, but they told me that if I take my medicine and get some rest, I’ll be all good.
The doctor who always looks after was surprised,
And over and over he said, “This… doesn’t hurt?”, but
it really didn’t hurt at all.
But I guess I have something like a natural tolerance to pain…
At any rate, I’m all better!!
I’ll be able to sing with you all once again!!

Kagrra, postpones their Sept 18th live; Isshi loses his voice

On September 18th, Kagrra,’s OHP was updated with an important announcement regarding the postponement of their live in Nagano on that same day due to vocalist Isshi losing his voice.
The following announcement was posted on the band’s OHP:
An Announcement Regarding the Postponement of Kagrra,’s Performance on September 18th at Nagano J
Today, Kagrra, had planned to perform in Nagano, however, vocalist Isshi has currently lost his voice, and although he was taken to the hospital for an examination, the result was that performing today would be impossible. Therefore, after a discussion between the members and staff, we have decided to postpone the performance.
Details about the rescheudled performance depend on the results from the medical examinations, but will be available in a few days via our OHP.
We will be contacting our FC members.
For those who have purchased tickets, they will be transferrable, so please keep them safe.
If you would like a refund for your ticket:
Those who bought through the FC Auga, please send your inquiry to the FC after September 22nd.

In the end…
I haven’t been able to sleep, and now it’s turned out that morning has come.
Without any interuptions, I’ve been reading and reading all of the words of “love” from everyone.
Just like that, silent tears started to fall.
Now, instead of my own voice which won’t come out, the guitar has been echoing.
But even at a time like this,
“I want to put these feelings into a song”.
The way I’m thinking, is really stupid.
With feeling so unsteady at the moment, I can’t do anything except wiggle my finger.
Usually, the climax of the stage feels so reachable, but now it seems so frightening.

Kagrra, are releasing a new single on August 11th entitled 「白ゐ嘘 」(shiroi uso).
It’ll be released in three types, type A has two songs and a DVD of “shiroi uso”. Type B has two songs and a DVD of a different coupling song that has yet to be announced, and Type C has the two songs from the first types and a third song that is not on the other two (and has yet to be announced).
The two with the dvd cost 1890yen and the regular edition costs 1260yen.

Strange sessions are always made of stinky coolness. One session that is pretty random is THE HIGH TOKYO BLACK, which consists of 3 PS COMPANY boys. Can you guess who are these guys? Shouldn’t be too hard to figure out! *hint look at the tags!*

Its Nao (Kagrra), Keiyuu (KRA) and Tora (Alice Nine)! Now how did this weird and wacky session start? They actually premiered at TRIBAL ARIVALL Vol.99 earlier this month. They have another show on May 30th (TRIBAL ARIVALL Vol. 100) with other PS COMPANY bands, including KRA, Alice Nine, SCREW, ViViD and SuG! You can view their myspace over here.

Kagrra, have added another date to their 10th Anniversary live tour, this one actually on the day!

We’ve already mentioned you vaguely about Kagrra’s new singles here, but now we have more details about the first one, so we’re uptading you as promised! The release will be entitled 「月に斑雲 紫陽花に雨」 (Tsuki ni Murakumo Ajisai ni Ame) and go on sale on the 16th of June, coming in 3 types.
The Limited Type A will cost 1890 yen and contain 2 songs plus a PV to the title one. The Limited B type will cost the same and include also the title track, but a different second track and additionaly a special booklet. Finally, the Regular Type will cost 1260 yen and include 3 songs (the title track + 2 B-sides from the Limited types).
What’s more, and this is really cool, some shops offer an amazing bonus! If you get the first press type A or B, plus the single which is planned to come out in August, there’s a coupon inside. You can send them in for a chance to win one of 10 backstage passes!! And then if you win, you can use it to go to the backstage at one of the 6 chosen lives, during their 10th anniversary tour:

Kagrra,’s 10th anniversary

For anyone who hasn’t checked it out yet, Kagrra, have opened up a special page on their OHP in celebration of their 10th year anniversary and they have a lot of things planned in the upcoming months!
Probably the most exciting news for fans, is that the band has two new singles planned! The first will be out on June 16th, and the second in the middle of August. Details are not yet available, but you can be sure we’ll update you when they are!
The band has two special lives and a new tour planned. The first live happened on March 3rd at Shibuya O-WEST.
The next, part two, which is called 「鬼咆」 (Kihou) takes place on June 3rd at Shibuya O-EAST. Tickets are 5250 yen a piece, and regular ticket sales begin on April 24th. Anyone who is part of the fanclub and purchases a ticket through the fanclub will receive a live DVD with footage from the show March 3rd.
The last is a live tour called 「行脚 百鬼夜行～陰～」 (Angya Hyakkiyagyou ~ Kage ~), which kicks off in August. Dates, venues and performance titles are as follows. The performance titles are actually really interesting, the band took a myth or story from the area that they’re performing, and titled the show after that.

・ A special 10 year anniversary banquet
・ A personal experience in Kyoto! Solo activity with the Kagrra, members (you can choose which member’s “course” you’d like to participate in. The contents are a secret):

Going back to the collaborations and accessories, vocalist Isshi, has teamed up once again with Kasuh Koubou to make an original, silver ring.
The ring costs 8500 yen and comes packaged in a specially marked box. Also included is a comment card personally written by Isshi, an original silver cross, and silver number. There is the option for anyone who purchases the ring to have their initials carved into it.
The 10 year anniversary page also has a list of each of the member’s regular programs, so tune in if you’re interested! Note that Nao’s column at Minna @ Soccer will not begin until April.

Isshi’s collaborative pendant

Isshi from Kagrra, is teaming up for a second time with Wargo, and this time specifically with Kasuh Koubou, to make a collaborative original silver pendant accessory, which will be limited to only 140 copies.
The pendant costs 8500 yen, and can be purchased either at Marui One in Shinjuku, or through PSCompany.

Shiki – which we talked about over here, now has a cover and pv preview! The covers are beautiful as always and the pv is pretty interesting…and best thing on the preview is that you can see Shin playing the koto.
