Seika’s new band

Seika's new band
Great news for fans of Seika, who was formerly in bis and Jakura!

As we talked about a while ago, Jakura will be having a one day revival on August 9th to celebrate former member, Jasmine You’s, life.

On that day, Seika will be starting up a brand new band!

Details on that band are not yet available, however, Seika did post the following post in his blog regarding the news.

It’s Seika. o(´^`)o
I have two things that I want to tell you all.

On August 9th, at Nagoya Bottom Line, Jakura will be having a one day revival. It was announced a while ago in Camju’s blog, but he asked me to post it as well.

The 9th is the anniversary of Yuu’s passing.

But I like to think that on that day, Yuu will also be coming back on stage with us. It’s because I believe that with Asuyu, Sai, Camju, Mikoto, Yuu, and myself, in Jakura, our hearts all become one.

The other announcement… is that on that day, I’m going to be starting a new band. In order for me to keep a promise that I made to Yuu, I plan on putting all of my energy into the time I have left.

Honestly, there are a lot of things I want to tell you all, but I don’t have the time to do so right now, so little by little I want to try filling you all in with what’s been going on and what I’m thinking.

Lately, I’ve really been experiencing the memories that I have from being in Jakura and bis.

As a leader of a band and in order to progress forward, I’ve gotta keep thinking about the future.

I wonder that if I knew then what I know now about what Shun-chan and Yuu were feeling, I wonder if I’d done things the same way.

For the sake of my friends who have supported me, for Jakura and bis, and for Shun-chan and Yuu, and of course for the fans, I’m carrying with me everyone’s important feelings, and I’ll face the band and life, and walk forward.

Although the other members haven’t been announced, he did say in a different post that three of the members are now non-smokers. Seika too is trying to quit smoking.

More details as they come!

Jakura's one-day revival
雀羅 (Jakura) who disbanded on the 9th of June 2003 will hold a one-day revival live on the 9th of August at Nagoya BOTTOM LINE. The live will be entitled 『拝啓x様~麝香連理想~』(Haikei Yuu-sama~Jakou Renri Sou~) and it seems that it will be free of charge.

For those who do not remember, Jakura was an old band of You (Versailles). The members were:

Vocal:(Sai)|| → ルフィー嬋命 (Ruephy Alive) → Pashya
Guitar: 神結 (Camju) || → public giant system
Guitar: 深琴 (Mikoto) ||
Bass: (Yuu) || → HIZAKI grace project → Versailles
Drums: 聖華 (Seika)| | →bis

Their previous vocalist was also mentioned in the post, so here is the information about him:

Vocal: 明透遊 (Asuyu) || ex. AZALEA(Gt.) → 雀羅 (Jakura)→DAZZLE (support Guitar)

The live will be, however, mostly a You memorial service. More details to follow.
