Irokui to disband

Thanks to EVE for emailing us about this sad piece of news. Seems like fan favorite – Irokui will be taking their final bow as a group on July 2nd at Akasaka BLITZ. The conclusion was bought out after talking it over with the group and they apologize for their sudden announcement. So far the members are not retiring from music and will continue on with new projects so please look forward and support their decision.
Pretty much sucks, this band was great and will be missed. We’ll try to work on individual messages for you guys!!

イロクイ。(Irokui) have just announced that they’ll be releasing a new mini-album this autumn!
It will be entitled 「確率的です。でも、法則です。」(Kakuritsuteki. Demo, Housoku Desu.) and will go on sale on September 22nd. The release will be available in two types, limited one for 2800 yen and regular for 2200 yen. Both types will have the same CD tracklist, which is as follows:

2. 弱虫毛虫のオーケストラ (Yowamushi Kemushi no Orchestra)

We have already talked about ダウト (D=OUT) joining Indie PSC and about the fact that they have planned to release a single and a DVD under new label. Finally there are more details about both of them! But first of all, let me show you the band’s new look:
The single will be entitled 「サイケデリコ∞サイケデリコ」(Psychedelico∞Psychedelico) and will go on sale on October 8th in three types, two limited ones for 1890 and a regular one, which will cost 1575 yen:

Disc 1 features footage from their concert performance at Shibuya O-EAST on June 26, 2010 and at BIG CAT on April 25, 2010. Disc 2 features behind-the-scene footage.
It will cost 6930 yen, however, it will be limited to 2000 copies only so hurry up and pre-order it, while it’s still available!

The tickets for oneman lives are 4000 yen a piece, whilst for events they cost 3800 yen in advance and 4300 yen at the door.
There is a special treat for the band’s fans though – a “special vacation” trip with the band on September 11th/12th. Of course you have to pay (and not a small amount of money) to go there, but if you do you:
・ get a shot with all the members
・ get to go to a ダウト (D=OUT) live (September 11th @ Okinawa SALT&PEPPER)
・ go to a lunch party with ダウト (D=OUT)

Irokui has announced their first DVD release! Titled as「おわらないせかいのうたいかた LIVE」 (Owaranai Sekai no Utaikata LIVE) it will be out 7th July and cost 3,900 yen.
DVD is filmed from Shibuya O-East on March 5th and comes with 28 page photo booklet.

Irokui’s new full album

On March 31st, Irokui will be releasing a brand new, original, full album called 「おわらないせかいのうたいかた」 (Owaranai Sekai no Utaikata).
The album is coming out in two types; one version which is limited to livehouse sales only, and a regular press version.
The regular version costs 2800 yen, and will contain ten tracks.
The livehouse only version costs 3300 yen, is 10 tracks, and comes with a special 32 page booklet. It goes on sale starting on March 5th and will only be available at the shows on their oneman tour called 「おわらないせかいのうたいかた」 (Owaranai Sekai no Utaikata). Each show costs 3000 yen to attend, and the dates and venues are as follows:

A movie starring Ninjaman Japan

There’s a new V.A. (Various Artists) release that’s coming out on December 1st called 「ニンジャマンジャパン 緊急指令！Bijuを救え！の巻」 (Ninjaman Japan Kinkyuu Shirei! Biju wo Sukue! no Kan).
What is it? Well, it’s a “thrilling movie starring Ninjaman Japan”. The movie is an action story, and wonderfully incorporates a ‘course’ on ‘how to enjoy visual kei’.
The DVD will also feature four Ninjaman Japan songs and PVs, as well as interviews that reveal the original story, full coverage of their filming location, a bloopers reel, as well as interviews.

IROKUI. (イロクイ。) has updated their OHP with a new look! I like this look better than their previous one, it follows more of a theme in comparison to the previous where it was more scattered and random. How do you lot like it?
Other than that, the band now has samples for their new single「ファンタヂックドリーマー〜Sleeping beauty〜」(Fantadikku Dreamer~Sleeping beauty~) up on their OHP! They even have a site specially made to promote the CD with detailed information. The link to the site is here.

Recently popular Irokui. (イロクイ。) will be releasing a BEST OF album on December 12th! The title is「オープン・ハート・キングダム」(Open Heart Kingdom) and will feature songs from their NXSIE RECORDS period.

Thanks to Hitsugi for emailing us about this. Irokui has changed to a new look and I am loving it! What do you think?
Irokui also have some cool lives coming up including a label event with Speed Disk on June 12th and one with PS Company on June 13th and again another Speed Disk live on the 14th! No resting for this band!

It’s Big Ern here again, bringing you the much anticipated random fact of the day!
Today, we’re going to talk about Shuuta from Irokui and his thoughts on spring. When asked, “What things do you do in the season, “Spring”?” he replied:
I think it’s a season to start something in♪ It’s like, “spring of this year, I want to start a new instrument!!” But I say that every year, and still nothing… (Laughs)
I have to agree. It’s time to start something new! A fresh romance, perhaps…
