SCUBER DIVE is an important Visual Kei event that’s been created two years ago, back in 2007. This event takes place both in Tokyo and Osaka, usually on the same day(s) and it gathers a lot of popular indie bands in different live houses of both cities. And it seems the two first editions were a success as the program of this year’s SCUBER DIVE has been revealed !
Like it was already the case last year, the SCUBER DIVE is split in two part, one in Osaka (Naniwa) and one in Tokyo (Shibuya). So, those of you who are lucky enough to be in Japan in that period should definitly go ! Hard choice though !
The timetable has yet to be revealed precisely, but it will be hold on July 31st and August 3rd, and here are the bands that are going to perform this year (more details on the timetable as soon as possible)

Another disbandment…

I’ve read a comment on the previous article saying this year really sucks with all those disbandments… and yes, it definitly does ! And it seems that it’s not gonna end soon !
Another band has announced that they would be disbanding this summer. And more surprisingly, it’s not one of those bands that disband 6 months / 1 year after they’ve started, no, this time it’s quite a big one.
No more suspense for such a bad news… ハッチ (Hucci) is going to disband on August 21st, after a last 3-man live with Inugami Circus Dan and Tokyo Heroes.
However, the band is going to release a last single on June 24th, entitled 「コラージュ」 (Collage), it will cost 1260 yen for the two following tracks :

Kuma and Kino’s sessions

On April 24th, ex beaU members Kino and Kuma will be playing in different session bands at an event called: 『HIDEKI生誕前夜祭-brimful of happiness-』 or the Eve of Hideki’s Birth. Hideki plays bass for Brancher and NALSIST. The event is 2500 for preordering or 3000 at the door.
Lines up for the night includes 3 session groups:

Now now, even though it’s Christmas Eve you didn’t expect the Big Ern to forget about the random fact of the day did you!? You know I wouldn’t do that to my faithful S-T readers!
Due to the time difference, it’s already Christmas in Japan! So today’s random fact involves two members from the band Hucci.
Saitou from wrote in his blog that when he woke up this morning, by his bedside was… a guitar! He felt that he really seemed like a guitarist…
His bandmate pinky, however, didn’t have such a glorious morning. He woke up, his heart beating with anticipation to find…………… nothing except his alarm clock. He figures that he wasn’t a good kid this year.
Well, I have to say I hope everyone is having a wonderful holiday season, and I’m waiting for your gifts. <3

ハッチ (Hucci) will be putting out a new single on July 23rd… that’s turning out to be a huge day for releases, isn’t it?
Anyways, the single will be called 「未成年」 (Miseinen) and it will cost 1260 yen for the three tracks:
・ 未成年 (Miseinen)
・ 唇 (Kuchibiru)
・ 僕たちの失敗 (Bokutachi no Shippai)

Two new releases!

キス＆ネイト (Kisnate) on May 28th will be releasing a new single entitled 「朱い電想線」 (Akai Densosen)!
It’s a two track single and costs 1300 yen.
The titles of the tracks are:
・ガラクタ・ (Garakuta)
・老紳士・エルト (Roushinshi・Eruto)
Also, the annual release of Hysteric Media zone, and omnibus album, is set for May 21st!

News on Tenten’s new band

As we posted here, Tenten (ex-KuRt) talked about the performance he’d be doing in March, with a new band. However, he didn’t give any details about it because he wanted his blog to reach 30 000 hits.
Today, Visunavi posted a few details.
Tenten’s new band will be performing at the Mixed Candies Vol. 9 event on March 3rd at Takadanobaba Area. The bands listed as performing that night are:
heidi.
ジュリィー (Jully)
ヒトツメ (Hitotsume)
ハッチ (Hucci)
アヲイ (Awoi)
Like absolute myself
And of course, MY BactEriA Heat iSland. Tenten’s brand spanking new band.
The other members, however, have not been announced so we’ll have to wait a bit for that.
Just as a note, I also read the news on someone’s blog while looking up the name, and I just realized that Visunavi doesn’t directly say it’s Tenten’s new band. However, if you go to click on the link for the band’s OHP, it directs you right to his blog.

EDIT: I never even noticed this, but Miku pointed it out that the name is the same words he used on the jewelry that he designed a while ago. Has he been planning this for a while?
