Thanks to Envy for the heads up on this!
Homura have announced that they will be disbanding after their live on March 27th.
They have posted the following announcement on their OHP:
As stated during our MC on February 21st, Homura will be disbanding after our oneman live on March 27th at Urawa Narciss.
We are sorry for the unexpected announcement, and that things have come to this conclusion.
However, the decision to disband is something that fits all of us, and we’ve talked about it positively as it will help us to continue on, so we hope that you can understand our decision.
We don’t have a lot of time left until our last live, but we want to make the most of what we have, so we hope that you will support us until the end.

焔 (Homura) has some good news for their fans !
After their recent participation in 「アルゴの羅針盤」 (Arugo no Rashinban) (DVD produced by Zënit Music Factory), the band has just announced that they would be having their second one-man live : 『the Remembrance of Incarnation【act type:-代償-】』 (Daishou) on March 27th at Urawa Narciss !
What else ? 焔 (Homura) has been selling a one-coin single at their lives for a few days already (starting on January 17th) ! It’s called 「サッドメリースノー」 (Sad Merry Snow) and as you’ve probably understood, it costs 500 yen.

Zёnit Music Factory will be releasing a various artists DVD on January 21st!
The DVD will contain live footage for six bands taken from their spring label tour, 「～無限大∞感染～」 (~Mugendai∞Kansen), their Kanto, six prefecture tour, 「アルゴの羅針盤」 (Arugo no Rashinban), their summer event, 「タマカン～漆黒～」 (Tamakai~Shikkoku~) and finally, their autumn “trial experiment” at Saitama Kaikan, 「～銀河大聖堂-Star sparkle～」 (~Ginga Taiseidou~).
The bands and songs included will be as follows:
01. チーキィ (Cheeky) – 「アーク舞い上がRAINBOW」 (Arc Mai ue ga RAINBOW)
02. 焔 (Homura) – 「プレイ」 (Pray)
03. GizeL – 「黒いキズ菜」 (Kuroi Kizuna)
04. デンジャー☆ギャング (Danger Gang) – 「君と僕が決めた道」 (Kimi to Boku ga Kimeta Michi)
05. Rubik – 「プラスチックコード」 (Plastic Code)
06.シネマストリップ (Cinema Strip) – 「Rise up, The weak.〜絶望より愛を込めて〜」 (~Zetsubou yori Ai wo Komete~)
The DVD will cost 3150 yen.

You may remember when I posted about Monstars☆party vol.30 here. Well, before that there will be a Monstars☆party vol.29 on September 25th, also at Takadanobaba AREA. Tickets will cost 2800 in advance and 3300 yen the day of, and have already gone on sale as of August 15th. Playing at the event will be ヴァルナ (Valluna), D’LORE, gaudie., Like absolute myself, 焔 (Homura), Administrator and a session band named Time Section #1, which has an interesting lineup: SIZNA (ex-Sugar) on guitar, Ketchi (KYOUKUTOU GIRLFRIEND) on guitar, HISAKI (cocklobin) on bass, and Atsuto (ex-Sugar) on drums.

Livehouse Urawa Narciss has announced that they will be presenting a live at Saitamakaikan Hall titled “Shikkoku no Symphony” [Jet Black Symphony] on August 14th. Tickets will cost 3500 yen in advance and 3800 the day of. First I’d like to apologize to all of ST readers, I haven’t been posting for about a week and a half. My laptop just broke so I couldn’t spend much time on the internet searching for VK news ! But I’m back now ! (and welcome to Inka who just joined the team!)
As Hideko wrote about last month, 焔 (Homura) is slowly making their comeback after they underwent some line-up changes. They have been doing a lot of events lately and they recently gave more details on the release to come. It’s gonna be a maxi-single called “自壊の理由” (Jikai no Riyuu) and it will cost 1575 yen for the following tracklist :
01.少年の自供 (Shounen no Jikyou)
02.毒蛾太陽 (Dokuga Taiyou)
03.断章-vision.1- (Danshou)
04.PeoplE ShowcasE
The CD is set to be released on May 23rd. The band also got a brand new look to go with that new release :

Kuma and Kino’s sessions

On April 24th, ex beaU members Kino and Kuma will be playing in different session bands at an event called: 『HIDEKI生誕前夜祭-brimful of happiness-』 or the Eve of Hideki’s Birth. Hideki plays bass for Brancher and NALSIST. The event is 2500 for preordering or 3000 at the door.
Lines up for the night includes 3 session groups:

There’s a new omnibus album coming out on May 10th called 『 -無限大∞感染-』 (Mugendai ∞ Kansen; Infinity∞Infection)! It iwll feature eleven bands: AibeLL, Art Cube, GallowS, シネマストリップ (Cinema Strip), Since1889, チーキィ (Cheeky), デンジャー☆ギャング (Danger☆Gang), 水樂 (Byakura), Venus, 焔 (Homura) and Rubik.
The CD will be on sale at livehouses starting April 18th at the Z & S Coupling Tour by the same name, which is sponsored by Zёnit Music Factory Co.Ltd. ＆ Sequence Records:
April 18th @ HOLIDAY OSAKA
April 19th @ HOLIDAY NAGOYA
April 25th @ Yokohama FORCE
May 3rd @ Meguro Rock Maykan
May 10th @ Urawa Narciss (Tour Final)
Tickets go on sale starting March 1st.
They’re also planning something kind of cool with Danger Gang, Homura and Cinema Strip. Twenty-five lucky fans will have a chance to go on a ‘bus tour’ with the bands, to their lives on April 18th in Osaka and on the 19th in Nagoya.
The party will travel from Tokyo (taking a night bus) and arrive in Osaka at 10:00am on April 18th. There will be a few hours of free time, then the event. After the live, participants will go bathing in a health spa. After that, everyone will head to Nagoya, where again there will be free time, followed by the performance, and then back to Tokyo.
Those who want to participate must register between February 25th and March 20th. The cost is 18900 yen (which covers the bus cost ONLY) and will only be held if there is a minimum of 20 people going.

焔 (Homura) will have an oneman at CYBER on the 4th april called [ 独裁 ＳＨＯＷ ＣＡＳＥ ] (Dokusai SHOW CASE; Dictatorship SHOW CASE). This is a oneman live to mark the release of the new maxi single coming out. The price to attend is 2500yen.

As you may know, 焔 (Homura) has been in activity pause for quite a long time after multiple departures… they progressivly found new members and the line up is now complete with the arrival of Syunjyu on drums !
Here they are ! What do you think ?
Beside this, the band has announced they will be sponsoring 2 events ! The first one , [Death PARADE-2008-], will take place on December 25th at Urawa Narciss, while the second one, [Newborn PARADE-2009-], is scheduled for January 25th at Takadanobaba AREA.
Of course, they will also play in other awesome events, the first one being on November 19th with : Jewel, SIVA, ダウナー (Downer), JIVE, 己龍 (Kiryu), and dis C.

New members for Homura!

Back in February, 焔～ほむら～ (Homura)’s bassist 朱韋 (Shui) decided to leave the band, leaving Homura down to only two members.
However, they recently have added two new members to their lineup!
So, we have their new second guitarist, みつる (Mitsuru) who was previously in BELIAL and their new bassist ゆずき (Yuzuki)!

When people heard about Shui leaving, I think a lot of fans were worried that the band would break up. I remember seeing a bulletin on their MySpace stating clearly that weren’t going to break up, and now we can see that they have two new members and are ready to continue on strong!
They say on their OHP that they’re starting activities, and they have a live planned with their hot new line-up on May 18th.

I posted yesterday about Deshabillz and how they would be having a twoman with UNDER CODE’s newest band, who on that day would be having their first live ever, Megaromania.
Well, the members have been officially announced!
Vocals - 翠-Sui- (ex-Metis Gretel)
Guitar - 美沙麗-Misery- (ex-Metis Gretel)
Guitar - 蜘影-Chikage-
Bass - 氷牙-Hyoga- (ex-Homura)
Drums - 憐蛇-leda- (ex-Hannya)
Not only was the line-up announced, but they’ll be releasing three maxi singles on May 28th to commemorate their formation!
The singles are titled:
「美醜の果実」 (Bijuu no Kajitsu)
「God of Megaromania-純血ノ刻印-」 (-Junketsu no Kokuin-)
「Angelical Jewelry」
Each single comes with two tracks and costs 1260 yen.
No photo yet for the band, but their logo looks nice!
Any thoughts? Predictions? I know there were a bunch of people looking forward to this, so I’m curious as to what their reactions are now that the members are announced.
As a side note, Megaromania was the name of Syndrome song, way back when. Not news, but an interesting tidbit.

Homura loses Shui

At their oneman live today, 焔～ほむら～ (Homura)’s bassist 朱韋 (Shui) retired from the band.
He hasn’t updated his journal since the live has been over, but before his final oneman with the band he said that he wanted to have a live with no regrets, and asked everyone not to cry but instead laugh.
Therefore, Homura is currently down to two members — vocalist 華雪 (Kayuki) and guitarist 憂佑 (Yuusuke).
They haven’t yet announced any new members, so I guess we’ll have to sit tight and see what happens.
