At the beginning of the month, HEADWAX, the group that manages most of hide’s postmortem affairs, announced a temporary closure of hide’s grave site as a result of instances of vandalism. The notice reads:

●━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━●
A request to everyone visiting hide’s grave
●━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━●
We truly thank you for always supporting hide.
We are grateful for the many people who come to hide’s grave every day.Recently, there has been an incident involving intentional damage to hide’s gravestone with a sharp object.
The matter is being investigated as personal property damage.Apart from this, there have unfortunately been recent reports of a portion of people not minding themselves,
including littering in the vicinity, speaking in boisterous voices, pouring alcohol on the gravestone, and carrying hide’s photograph away.Should these circumstances continue, general access to hide’s grave will unfortunately close temporarily.
We ask for everyone’s cooperation in order to make visits to the site pleasant for everyone.
Furthermore, we would like to ask anyone who witnesses these kinds of incidents to please notify the respective hide official site.
HEADWAX ORGANIZATION CO.,LTD
It may seem like common sense to conduct oneself in a respectful manner at a grave site, but some patrons clearly need a reminder. HEADWAX has added a few requests in an effort to assure all visitors can have a pleasant experience when they visit.
※ Please do not enter the cemetery outside of opening hours
※ Please remove the vinyl wrapping from flowers before offering them
※ As the gravestone can be damaged by pouring alcohol or drinks on it, please refrain from doing so
※ As incense sticks may catch fire and cause accidents if many are lit at once, we ask for a limit of one stick per person
※ Please refrain from damaging the installation of the grave stone or offerings left by others
※ There are grave sites for others in the area. We ask for everyone’s cooperation in not speaking too loudly or littering on site
If you’re interested in visiting hide’s grave site, it can be found at Miura Reien in Miura City, Kanagawa.
