GRiST announced at their live on 8/12 at Shinsaibashi club ALIVE that they will be disbanding. Their last live will be held on Thursday, October 22nd at Nishikujou BRAND NEW. Yusura and Mitsuki posted about the disbanding:

We announced it at yesterday’s live, but
GRiST’s live on October 22nd at Nishikujou Brand New will be our last
as GRiST has decided to disband.
This is a result of numerous discussions between the members.
In September, GRiST will be celebrating three years of activities.
We’ve been doing our best up until now, and we owe all of the fans for their warm support.
We only have about two months left,
but I want us to all continue laughing until the very end,
all of us together; the members and the fans.
Please support us until the very end.

m(_ _)mI don’t really know what I should write, and I’m still thinking about it…. but
First off, GRiST will be disbanding in October. We worried about it and thought about it time and time again, and finally this was the decision we arrived at. I’m truly sorry to all of the fans that have been supporting us.
I hope that somehow or another, you can watch over us until the very end.I want to keep on going for these last two months and enjoy them without having any regrets, so I hope that you will support us.

Some time ago we wrote about the fact, that SOMATIC GUARDIAN will be releasing a new single on August 4th, entitled 「戦場ガールフレンド」(Senjou Girlfriend) and now the band has shared even more information about the release.
Firstly, the band has uploaded two PV previews from the upcoming releases, check them out:

To commemorate the release, the band will hold several instore events as well:

Furthermore, on August 14th they’ll sponsor a free event, which will take place at Kagurazaka EXPLOSION. It will be entitled 『司令官のことが…めっちゃ好きやねん!!』(Shireikan no Koto ga… Meccha Sukiyanen!!). More details to follow.
They’ll have a coupling tour with Dali in September as well, it will be held under the title 『Melancholic Force』:

First, I want to say thanks for the HOLIDAY NAGOYA Nishikujou Brand New lives!
It’s unexpected, but yesterday we had an announcement.
After our live on February 3rd, I will be leaving GRiST.
Due to my family circumstances, no matter what I do, I am unable to continue on being in a band.
To everyone who supported me, to the members, and all those connected to the band, I am sorry for the way things have turned out, and I feel extremely grateful to all of you.
I will pour all my effort into the remaining lives, so please support me until the end.

Larme d’ange looking for staff

The members of Larme d’ange are looking for actual staff members to help the band out. So far the only requirements are that you must be 18 or older and they don’t care on what gender you are. Would you ever apply to become a band staff or roadie?
Besides the December 6th event we just updated about, the band also has a New Year’s Eve event with CROW MUSIC called CROW MUSIC SUPER COUNT DOWN EVENT Vol.５. Groups who will be joining are WHITEBLACK, n’DooL, LICKER, GRiST, SUICIDE ALI, Valentine, Dear L’Novel, Vallquar, ZEROZERO and a few others! They also have a handful of lives until February.
Other news, they have a new look including support member Rai! What do you think of the new look?

CROW MUSIC tour

As Adrienne told you a couple days ago, WHITEBLACK is going to release a new single in November.
But it appears they will also take part in the 「CROW MUSIC ALL CAST TOUR Vol.3 GOLD RUSH 2009」 all over Japan next month (which is quite normal as their lead singer Tatsuya is the label’s boss!).

New maxi-single for GRiST !

Good news for GRiST’s fans ! CROW MUSIC’s new band has announced they were going to release their 4th maxi-single ! 「NEIGE FLEUR」 will go on sale on September 16th and will contain 3 songs which titles have yet to be revealed.
Other than that, the band will have a 3 months consecutive sponsored events to promote this new single, starting on September 12th at Osaka BRAND NEW. And the apotheosis of all that will be their 2nd one-man that will be hold in December.

Larme d’ange’s new album and events

We haven’t talked about Larme d’ange in forever! They have a few lives coming up in August, including an event with CROW MUSIC. The event is called -INVISIBLE MENACE- and will be held on August 13th. The band line up includes GRiST, Sister Floyd, Black Mary and a few others – special guest for the night is WHITEBLACK! They also have another event on August 18th with gadget, InTheEnz, ballad. and Arc Leid.
Last time I checked – in May they claimed a new album was in the works but they are still in the studio so a date is uncertain at this time. We’ll keep an eye out for more details. Other than that the band has been looking very pretty as a trio.

On July 29th, a new version of the JUDGMENT compilation album will be released!

GRiST takes Villain’s place

For almost a week now, there’s been a rumor about Villain disbanding… and I’m sorry I have to say that it turned out to be true. This has been confirmed for a few days already, and Villain will hold its last one man on June 26 at Kyoto ARC DEUX.
After the disbandments of IRODORI, and now Villain, some people may have thought CROW MUSIC was going through a rough spot, but Tatsuya has already found a band to replace Villain ! GRiST has announced through their OHP that they were joining CROW MUSIC from now on.
I didn’t see that one coming, I love both Villain and GRiST but if CROW MUSIC needed a replacement, I thought they would try to pick a band similar to Villain, which is far from being the case with GRiST ! Anyway, great news for both the label and GRiST !

As I told you back in January, GRiST made 2 great announcements ! The first one was about their first one-man that has been hold yesterday at 西九条 BRAND NEW (Nishikujo BRAND NEW), during which they also distributed a free CD that may pop up on Auctions Sites sooner or later.
The second one was about a new maxi-single that Mahiru told me about, but the date was yet to be known. And it appears that the date has been revealed a few days ago and the CD will be available from April 8th !!! 「cahier」 will contain 4 songs and cost 1 260 yen. The CD will be sold nationally through Like an Edison, which is a good news for people overseas cuz it’s usually pretty hard to get GRiST’s CDs outside the live-houses ! But to those who would like to buy it, you’ll have to be quick because it’s limited to 500 copies !

New look for GRiST

GRiST is growing bigger and bigger lately ! After they hired a bassist and 2nd guitarist (as it was said a week ago), they are about to perform their first one-man live and will soon release a new CD even though we don’t have any details so far. But what led me to post this article is that they updated their OHP with a picture of the whole band. The profile pictures are not available yet, but it should be done in a few days !
It looks rather different from before, especially for Mitsuki, but I think it fits them pretty well !

At their live on February 4th, GRiST announced that their support guitarist, 霊夢 (Remu) had decided to join the band, and therefore is now an official member! They haven’t added his profile to the OHP quite yet, but you can check out his blog here: http://ameblo.jp/remuremuremuremu/
The band has also announced that on April 3rd at Nishikujou BRAND NEW they will be having their first oneman live! The details are not yet available, but as they’re advertising it as a “one coin oneman”, we can safely assume it will cost 500 yen to attend.

Hey guys, I just came back from Japan, that’s why I haven’t posted any “new year message”, sorry about that, so here you go : Happy New Year to all of you, hope this year is gonna be even better than the last one (and that we won’t have as much disbanding as well!).

About the news now, I couldn’t be more sure about this one as I got from Mahiru himself ! It turns out that GRiST will be sponsoring an event on March 1st… but this is not really something amazing right ? The next part is more interesting : one month later, on April 3rd, GRiST will be having its very first one-coin One-Man (meaning a live for 500 yen) at 西九条 BRAND NEW (Nishikujo BRAND NEW).
And last but not least, even though it’s not official yet, Mahiru told me that they would also be releasing a new CD during that same period, probably in the end of March, but more details will be given later.
I’m really happy to see that they are doing very well, they’re one of the bands I’ve been following since the beginning and I like them a lot, especially in live, it’s a lot of fun… but I’m wandering from the point.

GRiST – 2nd maxi single

GRiST has announced the release of their second maxi single, which is also the first single with their current lineup! It’s been about a year since their first maxi single release, and this new one comes out o October 31st. It’s a three track single for 1260 yen, but unfortunately will only be sold at their lives.
So if you’re interested in the band and know someone who’s going, make sure they pick you up a copy!
