Speaking of GRIEVER, did you know that 3 of the members used to be in the band BERLIN? They changed their names and really morphed into a new concept when they formed GRIEVER a year ago.
SIN used to be known as KAGUYA, TOKI used to be called TOMOKI and MAY was simply known as MEI. Even after BERLIN disbanded, the 3 were in a session along with YOURI (known at the time as Yu→RI) which you can read about over here.
Ah love it when friends continue on with each other!

GRIEVER’s upcoming lives

Okay, I know a few of you are wondering what will be happening to GRIEVER since last night was Kikyo’s last live with the group (also was a live that celebrated the band’s first anniversary). The band has 2 more lives listed before the year ends.
They have a live on December 6th, with bands like camino, Larme d’ange, BLACK MARY, Dear L’Novel and many others… And their last live of the year will be on December 26th sponsored by UNDER CODE called act unlawfully Vol:21. Bands who will play along with GRIEVER are Megaromania, LOTMAN, ClearVeil, DI3SIRAE, VELGREED and E’m~grief~.
SIN wrote in his newest entry for fans to keep an eye out for Kikyo calling him a friend and rival haha.
I hope GRIEVER will return for 2010~!

GRIEVER has announced that on November 27th, their guitarist KIKYO will be leaving the band. KIKYO hasn’t given any reasons behind his decision, however, he did write that this was something that he decided himself, and that he wants to enjoy it until the end.
November 27th is also the VELGREED and GRIEVER sponsored event, ｢The First Awake -絶対攻勢-｣ (Zettai Kousei) which celebrates the one year anniversary of both bands! The event will be held at HOLIDAY OSAKA, and features other bands such as DI3SIRAE, Cla vi us, HARNES and Armeria(O.A.). TIckets cost 3000 yen a piece and are currently on sale.

GRIEVER postpones

GRIEVER’s new single, 「IDEAL TRIGGER」 which was supposed to come out on April 1st, has been postponed.
When the new release date has been set, they will announce it on their OHP and in the member’s blogs.
They offer a deep, heart-felt apology to all the fans who have been waiting for this release.

GRIEVER short tour and release

GRIEVER will be releasing their first single on April 1st! The title is 「IDEAL TRIGGER」 and it will contain four songs for 1365 yen.
Furthermore, the band will be having a tour around Osaka, Nagoya and Tokyo to celebrate the release! The tour is called 「TOUR 2009 AN IDEAL NEW WORLD」:
April 11th @ Ikebukuro CYBER
April 12th @ NAGOYA HOLIDAY (meth.’s event, 「GOOD LOOKING MUSIC PARK」)
April 25th @ HOLIDAY OSAKA
At each of the performances along the tour, they will be having a CD available for fans . The CD will change from live to live.

Under Code’s suppoting band, Griever has updated with a new look so you guys can see them better than before. They also have a live coming up called 「A unify crack TYPE 01」 – on November 29that Holiday Osaka. They also have another live called 「A unify crack TYPE 02」 on November 30th.

UNDER CODE PRODUCTION hasn’t exactly added a new band to their label, however, they will be working in collaboration with the band GRIEVER.
The band will be starting activities on November 29th with their performance at HOLIDAY OSAKA in the event called “A unify crack TYPE 01″. Other bands participating that night will be Lamina, Zodia, Karma-Shenjing, Valgreed, Яe:sK, Maccaholic, Wednesday and Hikoboshi.
Their first performance will be followed by another the next day, called “A unify crack TYPE 02″ alongside other bands such as brodiaea, Rugia(g)Gram, Larme d’ange, Envus, Grist, DIZZY and BarKiraca.
