Last week, I told you about GoDeath having a new website on which they were still working, it seems that everything’s working fine now. The girls also have a new look :

Also, for those who have always been craving to know the title of the second song that was on the first single, they’ve posted it on their OHP to, it’s called 「Negation」, now you can correct your tags, I know some of us are Last.fm freaks !

Some of you may have noticed that GoDeath’s OHP has disappeared for a few weeks already, I first thought they’ve disbanded without saying anything about it, but they’ve actually created a new OHP ! You can’t really see anything on it, but it should be working sooner or later !

godeath-loses-junri

GoDeath announced about a week ago that their bassist 潤吏 (Junri) will be ‘graduating’ from the band on January 27th.

The reason for Junri’s departure is because her former band, 「LANTAN[A]」 will be restarting their activities.  Akira, LANTAN[A]‘s singer, will also be returning for the line-up, however, I can’t find a new OHP for the band as their first one was moved, and second has since been deleted.

If you’re interested in Akira’s homepage, you can check it out here: http://63.xmbs.jp/akirakira/

random-fact-of-the-day

Big Ern here giving you your random fact of the day. Today we’ll be talking about pets, but not just ordinary pets, exotic pets! I was checking up on the girls of GoDeath’s blogs and found that Asaka has one of the most interesting (and surprisingly cute) pets I’ve ever seen! It’s some sort of lizard/newt thing.

So S-T readers, would you ever consider having any strange pets? What would you get? It makes me wonder, would anybody think of having me as their exotic pet?

godeath-intro-news

The girl group, GoDeath has announced that on December 11th, their guitarist L will be leaving the band.

They say there are many reasons for her departure, however, the biggest is due to musical differences. However, they have made it clear that L does not have plans to retire from music.

The band continues to carry on as scheduled with the remaining for members.

We haven’t introduced the band here on the site before, so even though it’s coupled with some bad news, here’s a brief introduction to them.

The band started off as a session called 我ディス (Gadis) band back in 2006, and played a couple times in 2007 before officially becoming GoDeath in 2008. I should also mention, that although they changed the band’s name to ‘GoDeath’, the pronunciation is still ガディス (Gadis).

The members are:
Vocals – 煌 (Kou)
Guitar – L
Guitar – 麻華 (Asaka)
Bass – 潤吏 (Junri)
DrumsALi

The band is based out of the Kansai region, and most of their activity has been focused around there as well. They are performing under the concept “graveyard watchmen”.

They’ll be releasing their first CD also on the 11th, called 【虚構】 (Kyokou) which will contain two tracks for 500 yen.

There are also new member photos up on their OHP, so check it out if you’re interested!
