Do you remember when we told you about gaudie.’s consecutive releases? There are finally details about the 3rd and final one!
It will be entitled 「終始型・感章・作品【CRASH】」 (Shuushi Gata・Kanshou・Sakuhin【CRASH】) and go on sale on the 14th of July for 1575 yen. The tracklist is as follows:

Remember the three-consecutive projects by gaudie. mentioned in earlier posts? The details for the first release were announced in January, but today I bring you official release dates and brief details of the final two projects!
The second project 覚醒型-呪章-作品【CALLING】(Kakusei Gata-Jushou-[CALLING]) will be in stores on May 5th for 1,575 yen, which includes a 6-page booklet, CD jacket, and picture label.Tracklist includes:

gaudie. consecutive projects begin

You may remember when we mentioned that gaudie. would be releasing three consecutive projects in 2010 here. Well, the band has announced that they will be releasing the first of the three, 錯乱型-独章-作品【カラス】 (Sakuran gata -Dokushou- Sakuhin 【Karasu】) on February 17th. It will cost 1575 yen and will have three tracks: カラス (Karasu), 自主規制 (Jishukisei) and 嘆きの果て-Pulse to tomorrow-(Nageki no hate -Pulse to tomorrow-).
Also, the band has moved their OHP from gaudie.net to gaudiejapan.com.

In addiction to the free oneman live to commemorate the release of their first album, KYOUKUTOU GIRL FRIEND will also be putting on three additional lives later this month to celebrate its release. Information is as follows:

News from gaudie.

After their first album 「MONSTER OF SNIPER」 that’s been released in July, gaudie. has remained silent. But it seems they’re now working on some new projects !
First of all, the band will host an event for Eiji’s 25th birthday on November 27th at Kagurazaka EXPLOSION, with a bunch of session bands mainly made up of gaudie.’s members and some of their friends. For example, it will be a good occasion to see ハッチ (Hucci)‘s singer Gin back on stage after his band’s disbandment.
Other than that, the band has recently been working on three consecutive projects that will go on sale in 2010. So far, we don’t even know what it’s gonna, probably news releases though. All the details will be revealed on January 18th. So far, all we know is their titles :
1st project : 錯乱型-独章- (Sakuran Gata -Dokushou)
2nd project : 覚醒型-呪章- (Kakusei Gata – Jushou)
3rd project : 終始型-感章- (Shuushi Gata – Kanshou)
They will also sponsor another event to promote their first project’s release on February 10th at Shibuya Ruido K2 !

Monstars☆party vol.29

You may remember when I posted about Monstars☆party vol.30 here. Well, before that there will be a Monstars☆party vol.29 on September 25th, also at Takadanobaba AREA. Tickets will cost 2800 in advance and 3300 yen the day of, and have already gone on sale as of August 15th. Playing at the event will be ヴァルナ (Valluna), D’LORE, gaudie., Like absolute myself, 焔 (Homura), Administrator and a session band named Time Section #1, which has an interesting lineup: SIZNA (ex-Sugar) on guitar, Ketchi (KYOUKUTOU GIRLFRIEND) on guitar, HISAKI (cocklobin) on bass, and Atsuto (ex-Sugar) on drums.

Good news for gaudie. fans ! The band has been very active lately, and has just announced that they would be releasing their first full-length album this summer, on July 8th. 「視聴型 (Shichougata)-【13】楽章-作品 (Gakushou Sakuhin)【MONSTER OF SNIPER】」 will cost 3150 yen, and they will probably hold a world record concerning multiple versions of the same CD, as the album will be available in not less than 6 versions, each of them containing a special version of one of the tracks of the album !

Lately, I’ve been kind of suspicious about gaudie. . Indeed, their website hadn’t been updated for a long time and I was scared to read somewhere that they were disbanding… but the guys finally updated their OHP, which made me quite happy already. But not only did they update it, they also announced that they would release two-months consecutive releases !!!
The first single is set to be released on February 4th. Its title is 【左脳開化】～Limited time～ (Sanou Kaika), and it will be sold (with a sticker) exclusively in Like an Edison shops for 1000 yen.
The second single should be a bit harder for us to get as it’s gonna be sold during lives only. The release date is March 5th and it’ll be called 【右脳開化】～Limited time～ (Unou Kaika), once again it will cost 1000 yen. Those who will buy it will get a poster as a special privilege.

gaudie. made another complete renewal on their official site today! Along with a new layout, you can find new profile pictures, which look really great. There’s also some cool live pictures flashing at the background of their schedule page, check those out too!
(Am I the only one who thinks that at the first glance it looks like Kei and Eiji are holding hands in this picture!?)

There’s a new omnibus album coming out on October 1st called Binary and it’s being put out by Visulive. It’s a six track album featuring six different artists for 2100 yen.

Near the beginning of the month we posted the details on gaudie.’s mini-album that’s coming out on July 9th.
I can’t remember if this was up there before, but it wasn’t given any attention so I don’t think it was… but there are two samples with the information about the new release!
So, if you’re interested in hearing a short sample of what their new tracks are like, head on over to http://www.gaudie.net/m/d.html, and click on the DoCoMo/Softbank link. That link opens as an MP4 so you can hear it on your browser if you have a QuickTime plugin or something similar.

Back here we updated you about what gaudie. have been up to and announced that they’d be releasing a mini-album this summer.
Well, more details are out and a release date has been set!
The band will be releasing their new mini-album called “SPRIAL STAIRCASE”. It’s a seven track CD that will cost 2100 yen. All the lyrics have been written by the vocalist Eiji, and all the music is by gaudie..

gaudie.’s new layout and first mini-album

Back in early March I introduced a band called gaudie., here. I said I’d keep you guys up to date with news regarding them, so I come bearing their latest news! Actually, this stuff has been up for a bit over a week already, but due to some personal-and-and-not-so-personal issues I was unable to post here in a while, so this is a bit late. Sorry about that!
On April 14th gaudie. revamped their site entirely, and the layout is all white and stylish instead of black. Of course, they also added new profile pictures!
There’s new individual profile pictures too, check them out on the site!
As for even better news, they’re also releasing their first mini-album in summer!! There’s no specific release date or anything else as of yet, but on June 30th, they’ll have their first shusai event (an event organized by them) to celebrate their first mini-album. The name of the event is 扉の向こう側 ～Out of see gate～ (Tobira no mukougawa ~Out of see gate~), and there’ll be more details in the near future.
It’s all still rather unspecific, but at least they’re out there being active and letting us know about their upcoming activities well beforehand!

This time I’m bringing you another introduction to a relatively new band. I got to know about this band because of their bassist Kazuha; I saw him with his old band last August and found him quite skilled, so I got curious. I was upset to hear his previous band disbanded, but very happy when I found out that already at that time he had a new band, and so I’ve been following them since then!

gaudie. was formed by the vocalist Eiji in Tokyo, and their first live was on August 15th, 2007, at Utsunomiya HEAVEN’S ROCK VJ-2. Their visunavi profile says that their motif is the hate towards oneself, shouts and pain that come from sadness, and that the keyword for their powerful music and lyrics is art. The concept of the band is “nonfiction,” reality without lies and fiction, and they started their activities with “mirror to gaudie.” as their theme.
So far gaudie. has only released one single that they only sell at their lives, so as much as I’d love to buy it, it’s almost impossible to obtain it from overseas. Therefore I’m clueless as far as their musical style goes, but I’m quite impressed by their visual style and am of course really interested in them because of Kazuha.
