L~Lotus~ is a five-piece band comprising of three ex. as milk members – 蓮華 (Renka) on vocals, saki and Takayuki on guitars, masato on bass, and YUJI on drums. -LEON- is a five-piece band from Gunma comprising of Yuji on vocals, Shin and Koya on guitars, Yamato on bass, and Masashi on drums. Interview with GLACIER

GLACIER is a five-member group from Okinawa, comprising of Makoto on vocals, Nao on lead guitar, Koujirou on rhythm guitar, Aki on bass, and Yuuki on drums. Interview with O-PARTS

O-PARTS is a two-man unit that started in June of 2009, formed by vocalist sho-ka (ex. Vogus Image) and bassist Jun (GaGaaalinG, ex. WAIVE). In 2002, Kaya made his vocal debut in the Mana produced two-man unit, Schwarz Stein. In 2004, Schwarz Stein disbanded, and departing from the label the band was signed to, Kaya became a free singer. 砂月-Satsuki- began his solo career on February 14th, 2009, after spending seven years as the vocalist for RENTRER EN SOI. Sakurai Ao + Sharaku + Sasabuchi Hiroshi form a new band

This is in my opinion one of the best news in a while! There is a new band, which will consist of 3 amazing angura kei musicians:

Vocal: シャラク (Sharaku) || ex. メトロノム (Metronome), now in FLOPPY
Guitar: 桜井青 (Sakurai Ao) || ex. cali≠gari, now in LAB. THE BASEMENT
Drums: ササブチヒロシ (Sasabuchi Hiroshi) || ex. Plastic Tree

The band’s name isn’t decided yet, but I believe it will be announced at their first live on June 26th at Shinjuku LOFT. The tickets cost 4000 yen in advance and 4500 yen at the door.

FLOPPY’s new mini-album

It seems that FLOPPY are really busy lately! They’re planning to release a new mini-album on the 17th of March entitled 「PROTOSCIENCE」. It will contain 8 songs and cost 2310 yen. Further details to come.

FLOPPY full album!

Some very good news for FLOPPY fans! They’re going to release a long-awaited album on the 16th of September. It’s going to be titled 「Deus ex machina」 and cost approximately 2520 yen.

What’s more, they set up their own MySpace, where you can listen to few song samples! They decided to held few more lives in the near future, but apparently all of them are sold out already.

Isn’t it exciting? I am so glad they’re becoming more and more active.

First of all, FLOPPY just announced a news address of their OHP, which is now located at http://www.floppy-web.com. The old one will be shut down soon.
