On May 12th, CROW MUSIC made an exciting announcement on their website.
BIOSPHIA has joined the company as one of their bands!
Fans should still use BIOSPHIA’s OHP to contact them, but those interested in inviting them to shows will be asked to use CROW MUSIC’s contact information.
They’ll be working on new music from now on; in the mean time, they’ll be performing at a few upcoming shows over the next couple of months.

Nokubura fans rejoice! Tonight during NOCTURNAL BLOODLUST’s set at NicoNico-streamed event live “One in a Million”, the band announced that they will be releasing their first fully album, titled “GRIMOIRE” on May 29th. In addition, if you will be attending the opening live for their “ART OF AGRESSION” tour on May 24th at Ikebukuro Edge, you can pick up a pre-release of the album. There is currently no information on price or track lists, but when we receive more information we will fill you in!

News from EAT YOU ALIVE today! After the release of their single “Sick” in January, they’ve announced that they’ll be releasing a new album this April.
In addition, they’re also planning a short oneman tour for this summer! “Cold tropical fish” will span Tokyo, Nagoya and Osaka from June to July, and will cost ￥3000 (￥3500 at the door) to attend.

EAT YOU ALIVE Breaking from Live Activity

A little earlier this month, EAT YOU ALIVE updated their OHP with the following message:
An important announcement from EAT YOU ALIVE
After finishing the currently-planned one-mans and the three performances in September, EAT YOU ALIVE will take an approximate 3-month break from live activity. This break will only be a break from live activity until the end. The members will use this time and make new compositions as well as raise their skill as a band up until now and beyond.
We are currently coordinating various projects so those of you who will support us during this time can experience EAT at your side.
We will announce details at the end of the one-man performance in Nagoya on August 25, so please come to the live.

Great news for アヲイ (Awoi) fans! The band has announced a second press of their 2010 selection album 「葵」 (aoi)!
「葵～THE SECOND～」 (aoi~THE SECOND~) hits the stores on July 25th and costs 2,520 yen. It will contain the re-recorded versions of the tracks present in the 2010 edition, plus two songs from other previous releases.

Good news for EAT YOU ALIVE fans!
On April 25th, the band will be releasing a brand new single! The single will be titled “Lily”, and it’s coming out in two types. The first type is a regular country-wide release, which costs 1300 yen. The second, priced at 1400 yen, is limited to mail order via the band’s website, or will be on sale at the TOWER RECORDS stores in Nagoya Parco, and Kintetsu Passe.

To celebrate the release, EAT YOU ALIVE will be having a PV launch and acoustic live on April 14th at fiveStars Nagoya. Anyone is able to attend, but if you want a front row seat, you can enter a lottery by spending more than 1500 yen on band goods. Doing so, will earn you a coupon which gives you front row access to the live, as well as a chance to take a photo with the members when the live has ended.
The band has also announced their first oneman tour, called “Perfect Stranger”.

The members are:

New Nagoya-focused omnibus

Like an Edison, ShimizuyaRecords, and Double River Record have teamed up to bring a new volume of the Rebels series of omnibuses. The series focuses on attention-worthy bands in the Nagoya region, and the last volume was released five years ago!
The new omnibus is called Rebels -2011-, and will be sold exclusively at Like an Edison for 2,011 yen. As a special privilege, those who buy the omnibus will receive a 2011 calendar card featuring all of the bands. Here’s the [tentative] tracklist:

There are lots of exciting news for all EAT YOU ALIVE’s fans!
First of all the band has a new guitarist called 翔也 (Shoya) [from ジュリエット (Juliette)]. You can follow his blog here. The band consists of 5 members now and their new look is:

The single will be called 「REVIVE」 and it will contain three tracks for 1500 yen:
・ RD in hope
・ 光 (Hikari)
・ 回転木馬 (Kaitenmokuba)
The single isn’t exactly new music, but it’s a “new explanation” on some of the tracks that they made before their name change, when they were known as MaveRick.
The song 「回転木馬」 (Kaitenmokuba) was originally released on MaveRick’s 「SILENT DEATH」 single which was out on July 18th, 2007. Both 「光」 (Hikari) and 「RD in hope」 came out on their album, 「a counter feit heart and my true intentions MOSQUITO」 that came out on November 1st, 2006.

The members of EAT YOU ALIVE have jumped on board the Ameba wagon and as of May 1st, have started up new personal blogs!
Vocals - ヒロ (Hiro) – reぞるつmayveりぃ (re Zorutsu mayve rii)
Guitar - 亮平 (Ryouhei) – fuck yesterday another day will come
Bass - けんぢ (Kenji) – ごっくん馬路村 (Gokkun Umajimaru)
Drums - 真 (Makoto) – ―本能開花― (Honnou Kaika)
As we’ve talked about before, the band is releasing a new single called 「 Missing you / 暁 」 (Akatsuki) on May 19th!
The new single will cost 1300 yen and contains three tracks:
1. Missing you
2. REM
3. 暁 (Akatsuki)
Along with the release, they’ll be having a new single release tour:
May 21st @ HOLIDAY OSAKA
May 22nd @ Nagoya ell.SIZE
May 29th @ Ikebukuro Black Hole
They’re also having three free acoustic lives held at three different branches of Like an Edison. The event is free to attend, and along with the acoustic show, those attending are able to get an autograph from the members providing that they have bought the single:

EAT YOU ALIVE is keeping busy, and will be releasing a new single on May 19th called 「 Missing you / 暁 」 (Akatsuki).
Details are not yet available on the OHP, but it’s something for fans to be looking forward to!

Do you remember when I’ve mentioned the new EAT YOU ALIVE’s single some time ago?
