Three Releases for DragonWAPPPPPPER

Looks like we have more news from DragonWAPPPPPPER! Before their activity pause, they’ll be releasing three singles, and it looks like they’re reprints of their previous music! All will be released on 11.16.

The first of the trio, LAST TITLE1, will cost ￥2940 and will include second presses of their singles 6p and M, as well as a History of DWP DVD.

DWP Loses koUME & Goes on Pause

DragonWAPPPPPPER have announced that they will be going on an activity pause due to their vocalist, koUME’s descision to leave the band.

The following message was posted on their OHP and in the member’s blogs:

An important message from DragonWAPPPPPPER.

Due to DragonWAPPPPPPER’s vocalist, koUME’s decision to leave the band, we will be going on an activity pause after our oneman live on November 23rd at Takadanobaba AREA.

We talked about welcoming a new vocalist into a ranks and continuining on with activities, however, the conclusion that we came to was that with where we are now, it would be difficult to have someone new performing the music that the five of us made together, and performing on stage with DragonWAPPPPPPER.

We have about a month left, and the five of us will continue forward with all of our power so we hope that you will continue to support us.

No words yet from koUME on his decision, but a few of the other members have updated apologizing for the break.

The band’s last oneman live together will be on November 23rd at Takadanobaba AREA and is titled “6piece”. Tickets cost 3000 yen a piece and are currently on sale.

If you’d like to catch the band together as they are one last time, they are currently on their “6piece tour”. Upcoming dates and venues are as follows:

The return of Codomo Dragon

We told you guys about the short lived session Codomo Dragon – well it seems November 2010 they stated the REAL Codomo Dragon will start! So here we are in 2011 and a few weeks ago they opened an official site! They have a new look, a new site and a handful of lives in 2011 already! Including the event for ASTRO BOY we updated about back in March. The event is in a few days on June 19th at 池袋 (Ikebukuro) BlackHole – with the following bands: ASTRO BOY, Ap(r)il, PIECE, Codomo Dragon and DragonWAPPPPPPER.

DragonWAPPPPPPER’s new single + oneman

DragonWAPPPPPPER will release a new single which is called [ONE’s LIFE] on April 6th in two different types. Besides that, the band will have an oneman on April 20th at Takadanobaba AREA which is called [ONE’s LOVE]. The DVD which comes with the limited version only contains footage from their oneman live which was held on January 7th.

New band – One★Star

ワン★スター (One★Star) is a fairly new band, which has recently joined Shimizuya Records (a label of Lycaon and Re:dis). The members of the band are:

Vocal: トライチ (Toraichi) || ex. Fuzylog.
Guitar: ロミオ (Romeo) || ex. Fuzylog.
Guitar: ひえ (Hie) || ex. Fate → Fuzylog.
Bass: マキ (Maki) || ex. Fuzylog.
Drums: 真也 (Shinya)

They’re going to release their first single on October 6th. It will be entitled 「MIRACLE MUSIC SHOWTIME」 and will be sold for 1600 yen. The tracklist is as follows:

DragonWAPPPPPPER’s new single and sponsored event

Certainly good news for DragonWAPPPPPPER fans!

The band is going to release a new single on November. 「ACT」 will come out in two types on November 3rd. Limited edition will have two tracks + a bonus DVD and costs 1,890 yen, when regular edition will have three tracks and costs 1,575 yen. Both editions will include a trading card, one of six different kinds.

To promote the single they will also have a sponsored event 「Triangle Prism Vol.3」 at Ikebukuro Black Hole on October 22nd. Tickets will cost 3,000 in advance and 3,500 yen at the door. Artist performing are DragonWAPPPPPPER, ALiBi and 東京ミカエル (Tokyo Michael).

First oneman for DragonWAPPPPPPER

DragonWAPPPPPPER have just announced that they will be holding their first oneman live soon! It will take place on the 7th of July at Shibuya o-crest under the title 『CHAPTER∞』.

There is an interesting thing going on with the ticket prices though. A normal ticket costs 2000 yen in advance and 2500 yen at the door. However, for 3000 yen spent in advance you can get two tickets!

Details on DragonWAPPPPPPER’s new singles

As mentioned some time ago, DragonWAPPPPPPER are planning the 3-months consecutive single releases. There are more details about first two:

The first one will be entitled 「Jam」 and go on sale on the 26th of March for 1260 yen. It will contain 3 tracks:

03. Jam audio background

The second single will be released on the 28th of April under the title 「βιце」 (Blue). It will also cost 1260 yen.

GTR leaves DragonWAPPPPPPER

Thanks to everyone who sent this in!
GTR has announced that he will be leaving DragonWAPPPPPPER after their performance on March 2nd.

The band has posted the following announcement regarding the news:

Thank you for continuously supporting DragonWAPPPPPPER.

Today, we have an important annoucement for everyone.

Our live on March 2nd at Shibuya BOXX will be the last for our bassist GTR, as he has decided to leave the band.

This is a result of numerous discussions regarding the band’s future activities. All of the members came to this decision after realizing that there is a gap between us that cannot be repaired.

We are sorry for the unexpected announcement and we wanted to tell you what was going on with the band, however, this is for the sake of both the band’s and GTR’s futures, so we hope that you can understand.

Now, both GTR and DragonWAPPPPPPER will be walking down different paths, but hopefully you can continue to support us both.

First of all, DragonWAPPPPPPer have announced a 3-months consecutive single release campaign. The first single is going to be entitled 「Jam」 and be released on the 24th of March. It will be sold normally in shops, in contrast to their previous live-sold only releases.

Secondly, the band has planned a 2days 2man lives. We don’t know who the second band is yet, but both gigs are going to take place on the 13th and 14th of April at Ikebukuro BlackHole. The tickets are going to cost 2500 yen when bought in advance and 3000 at the door. Those who attend will get a special priviledge.

Shyena moves on with V-last

Shyena (ex DragonWAPPPPPPER) now has a brand new band! They are called V-last and they have their very first live on December 11th at Shibuya O-West. They are busy guys and have a few lives lined up into the next year, including an event with PS Company Indie on January 10th with bands like ViViD, Virgil, Serial Number and xTRiPx.

Their home page opened today and the members and look was revealed. What do you think?

Aki’s birthday event!

Remember this last year? Well Aki’s birthday is coming up December 8th and the event is happening again. This time its called Aki Birth Day Party「FUN TO FAN」-RETURNS-. The cast list for the event includes Seven, -OZ-, ALiBi, ν(NEU) and guests like SKULL and Dragon and DragonWAPPPPPPER!!

The event is on Tuesday, December 8th! Don’t forget to wish him happy birthday next month over here.

There are finally some good news from DragonWAPPPPPPER news! First of all, they’re going to release a premium single entitled 「♭A♭Y♪」on the 17th of January 2010. It will cost 1260 yen and be sold only at their live in Takadanobaba AREA on that day, which is also Koumei’s birthday!

Secondly, the band has posted details on their new tour 「Friend Ship 2010」! It’s a coupling tour with bands such as Ap(r)il ダウナー (Downer)「東京指定」 (Tokyo Shitei) ジュリエット (Juliette). The details such as dates have already been given by Adrienne here in a post about Juliette, don’t forget to check it out!

We already told you guys about DragonWapppppper’s new singer here. They also updated the site with his look and a new group picture! They all look so colorful and happy XD So far the profiles are not clickable but I am sure they will update with that soon!

They have a mini tour going on with their new singer so I hope some of their fans can catch them and let us know how their new vocals fit in!

DragonWAPPPPPPER’s important announcement

As we talked about here, on August 27th DragonWAPPPPPPER lost their vocalist shyena.

Today at their live, the band had an important announcement.

That announcement, was that they would be welcoming a new vocalist to their ranks! The newest member of the band is うめ (Ume) who was previously the vocalist in ArecsiA and Michel Douglas. He’s also going by ‘koUME’ now.

His profile is not yet available on the site, but he did post about it in his blog.
