‘Demonstration’ single from Downer

ダウナー (Downer), who lost their drummer at the beginning of March, have announced that they will be releasing a new ‘demonstration’ single on April 21st!
The single will contain two tracks and cost 1260 yen, however, it will be available only at lives or via mail order.

Enclosed in the CD is an ‘invitation’ to their free live on June 17th which takes place at Shibuya Star Lounge.

3 months consecutive releases for Ap(r)il

Ap(r)il announced that they will be having consecutive single releases for the month of April, May & June.
The first single『Heart 8eat!!』will be releasing on April 27th, while second single『CRACKER$』will be releasing on May 25th and lastly the third single『FUZZ GRAPHIX』will be releasing on June 22nd.
All singles will cost 1575 yen each and will each contain 3 songs.
So far, only the tracklist for [Heart 8eat!!] is being released.

Also, on April 18th, the band will be having a 3rd Anniversary Two-man live with Downer.
This [Ap(r)il×Downer] two man live will take place @ Higashi Kōenji 20000 Den Atsu.

Important announcement from Downer

As of 2011.03.04, Rion (Drums) will leave the band as announced yesterday after Downer’s two-days lives.
Downer will continue as 4 members after Rion’s departure, and more information concerning his last performance will be updated shortly.

It appears that the band ダウナー (Downer) will be having a release called 「Re:Storation」 that comes out on October 27th. The release will have two types, an A type and B type. The A type will consist of two tracks and a DVD. The B type of the release will consist of 3 tracks total.

Downer’s new single and 2nd anniversary show

ダウナー (Downer) will be releasing a new single, which is titled 『プラグドノスタルジア』 (Plugged Nostalgia), on June 9th!
The single will come out in two types, both of which cost 1575 yen. The difference in the types is with the tracklist:

An important announcement from Downer

ダウナー (Downer) have posted the following announcement on both their OHP and Visunavi:
We truly thank you for constantly supporting Downer.
On December 30th, our vocalist Anzu was hurriedly taken for a check-up as he was feeling ill, and as a result was diagnosed with influenza and is contagious.
Therefore, we have taken the liberty to decide that at our event on December 31st, only the four members, guitarists Miu and Hirari, bassist Kagome and drummer Rion, will be performing.
We are deeply sorry to all the fans that were looking forward to the performance, and to all those connected with the band for the trouble that this has caused.
Regarding our scheduled events starting from January 7th, we will carry on as planned with all five members, so from her e on in, we hope that you can continue to support us.

We’ve already mentioned the new Downer’s releases over here, but finally there are some details about the first single. It will be entitled 「Candy[A]diveR」 and will go on sale on the 23rd of December for 1050 yen. There are two types, A and B:

Downer member’s sick

It seems that more and more musicians get the influenza. This time, it’s about Downer’s member. The band posted the announcement at their OHP:
Thank you for continuing to support Downer.
On November 29th, our guitarist Miu was complaining that he was feeling ill, and the results of a quick exam, showed that he has been infected with the A type influenza, and therefore has gone home to recover.Therefore, at our events on November 30th and December 3rd, we have made the hurried decision that the four remaining members, vocalist Anzu, guitraist hirai, bassist Kagome and drummer Rion, will perform. To all those who were looking forward to our performance, we sincerely apologize.
However, at our event on December 18th, the five of us plan to be playing together again, so we hope that you can continue to support Downer.

We already told you guys about DragonWapppppper’s new singer here. They also updated the site with his look and a new group picture! They all look so colorful and happy XD So far the profiles are not clickable but I am sure they will update with that soon!

DOWNER prepares 2-consecutive month release

DOWNER (ダウナー) will be releasing 2 consecutive month singles at the end of the year! The singles will each come in two types, A and B. First release will be on December 23rd, second on January 27th of 2010. Each single is 1,050 yen, both A-TYPE and B-TYPE.
The titles haven’t been announced yet, but will provide details and track listing as soon as they do!

ダウナー (Downer) are keeping busy as they’ve planned five projects for five consecutive months, starting in October of this year.
1st x IMAGINATION
On October 7th, they’ll be sponsoring an event at Shibuya GUILTY called 【AnatomischeTabellen】. The event will feature other bands such as CELLT and ν[NEU], and costs 2800 yen to attend.
Specific details for the rest of their plans are not yet available, but this is what they have so far:

The name of DragonWAPPPPPPER’s 2nd maxi-single has been decided and it will be, “M”. It’s still due to be released on May 26th and limited to 150 copies. They’ll be only sold on the 3man live on that day with Downer and Juliette.

I just love typing their name. All six ps and all.
Anyhow. With the OHP renewal came lots of information about what the band’s been up to. They’ll be releasing their 2nd maxi-single on May 26th, though the title is still unknown. It’s going to be limited to 150 copies and will only be sold at their 3man live on that date (with Downer and Juliette). 6P sold out, by the way, so congratulations to them for that, let’s hope this single sells out as well.
There’s also going to be an interview published in Hevn magazine (042).

Downer’s one year oneman

ダウナー (Downer) has updated their OHP with their newest costumes and news about their first year anniversary! They’ll be celebrating with a special oneman live called 【TOKYO megido 1st[VELOCITY]】 on June 12th at Shibuya O-Crest with a oneman live called . The live will cost 2800 yen to attend, and priority tickets go on sale starting March 26th, with general sales starting on April 25th.
It seems like they have a lot of things planned for this live!
On that day they’ll be giving out a free DVD, which will contain live footage and private footage with the members.
They’ll be selling a onecoin (500 yen) single that will have a not yet published song, plus a bonus track.
There will be new polaroids for sale and new artist photos. To top it all off, they also have an important announcement that day.
