DELUHI last live DVD

DELUHI, who disbanded recently, will release a DVD of their last live at C.C.Lemon on August 7th! Release date is December 21st.
The DVD is entitled as VANDALISM and will cost 6,615 yen. It icludes two discs, but unfortunately other details of the content aren’t yet available.
Also, Sujk’s solo album is up for pre-order @CD Japan, so don’t forget to get yours.

Great news for DELUHI fans!
DELUHI’s former drummer, Sujk, will be releasing a solo album on December 7th!
The album will be called “ARKHELISM” and will cost 3150 yen for ten tracks. One of the ten tracks will be 「わっちゃの左フック」 (Waccha no Hidari Hook), which is the temporary title for one of the songs that Sujk used to perform during his solo time in DELUHI.
Furthermore, guest artists on the album will include ex-DELUHI members Leda, Juri and Aggy!

DELUHI disbands

We had many people write in asking us if this was indeed an April Fool’s joke, but unfortunately it was not. DELUHI announced that after a country-wide summer tour, they will be disbanding.
The following message was posted on the band’s official site:
DELUHI has been on an activity pause since December 1st of last year, however, today (April 1st, 2011) we are announcing that after a country-wide summer tour, “DELUHI LAST TOUR -VANDALISM-”, we will be disbanding.
After the completion of our tour last fall, we went on an activity pause to “make even a bigger step forward in the future”, however, during our break the feelings of the members wanting to leave DELUHI only hardened. We realized that DELUHI’s activities could not continue on with the four of us; Juri, Leda, Aggy and Sujk.
As a result of numerous discussions between all the members, we decided in the end that DELUHI could not continue with these four members. We came to the conclusion that doing activities under DELUHI without these members would be meaningless, and we therefore chose to disband.
We sincerely apologize to the fans that have been waiting for us to resume activities and to those who have continued to show their support.
This was not a decision that was easily made by the members or the staff.
For our last country-wide tour that will start from July 1st, in hopes of presenting with all our power everything that DELUHI has been through these past three years, alongside the fans, we will devote ourselves to making these lives the best time possible.
Until the end, we hope that you will continue to watch over us.
To all of the fans who have continued to support DELUHI and to everyone involved with the band, we truly thank you.

DELUHI going on hiatus

Many thanks to Abi of deluhists.com for emailing us with this information. Seems like we JUST updated about their new dvd release and now the band is going on a pause after their oneman tour “BLITZKRIEG -Another Departure-”. Even though many fans are worried about the phrase “pause”, Leda reassured fans in his tweet that the band will return and only taking the pause to make themselves stronger for their fans.
So it seems the pause will only improve the band, to take them a step further in their skills. Fans should wait for their return and to continue to support the band! I am sure they will return even stronger!

This is certainly interesting piece of news! ゴールデンボンバー (GOLDEN BOMBER) is releasing a new single and few other musicians are appearing too, for example shuji from Janne De Arc and Leda from DELUHI.
The single is called「また君に番号を聞けなかった」 and comes out October 6th in three types. Limited editions A & B will cost 1,500 yen and Regular editon 1,000 yen.
Guest musicians on track 「†ザ・V系っぽい曲†(生) (†The・V-Keippoikyoku†(nama))」 are as follows:

This is certainly amazing piece of news – it seems that Matenrou Opera will sponsor a 3-man event on August 17th!
The 3-man will take place at Shibuya O-EAST, under the title 「鋼鉄祭～Legend of Steeler～」(Koutetsu Matsuri～Legend of Steeler～). Other participating artists will be Versailles and DELUHI. The tickets cost 4500 yen in advance and 4800 yen at the door.

Back in April, we have talked about DELUHI’s 3-months consecutive singles. Finally, the band has updated their OHP with some details and the new look too:
The first single will be entitled 「Frontier」 and contain the song and a PV to it. It will cost 1890 yen and the cover is:
The single which will be released on the 7th of July will be entitled 「The Farthest」 and the one on the 4th of August – 「Departure」. As stated in the previous post, each will contain a song and a promotional video. Next two singles will probably cost 1890 yen as well.
Do not forget, that the band is going to have a oneman summer tour to commemorate the releases!
Finally, make sure to pre-order the singles and support the band: 「Frontier」, 「The Farthest」 & 「Departure」

Finally some amazing news for DELUHI fans! They will be releasing 3 new singles, one a month, starting in June.
The first one will go on sale on the 16th of June, the second on the 7th of July and the third on the 4th of August.

Suicide Ali will be featured on the cover of the new Risknote that will be coming out in May. You can already preorder the issue at the label’s store over here. The magazine is only $15.00 and will include interviews with Kiwamu, LIX., THE SOUND BEE HD, the fool, DELUHI, Luzmelt, Calmando Qual and many more! The group also has a new look which is pretty much made of cool. Again – note the accessories are of Ryonai’s designs!

Leda’s appearance at a guitar and band contest

On February 28th at MI Japan Sapporokou S-100 Hall in Sapporo, there will be a guitar solo and band contest!
Making an appearance at the contest is none other than DELUHI’s guitarist, Leda.
At the event there will also be a Leda corner, mini-seminar, demonstration and Q&A.
The event costs 1000 yen to attend, and they are also taking applications for those who want to participate in the contest. The winner will receive a “wonderful prize”. For those performing, the rules are that you must perform one original song.
If you’d like to go, you can sign up over at YOUNG GUITAR & MI JAPAN SAPPORO.
I think it’s awesome when musicians take the time out to talk to and help other budding artists, and I’d definitely be interested in seeing the acts that showed up for the contest! Hopefully everyone attending will have a great time.

There will also be an advance ticket presale from January 9th through February 1st here.
They have also announced that they will be releasing a new single on March 24th entitled 「REVOLVERBLAST」. The cd will come with a PV for the title song as well as new material from the band! We will be sure to keep you informed as more information about this new single is released.

Thanks to Jono for the heads up on this!
Back in July, we talked about DELUHI’s new mini-album that is set to come out on November 4th.
Well, now more details are available! The new mini-album will be titled 「ユグドアライヴ -Yggdalive-」 and it will contan nine tracks (including SE) for 2940 yen:

Also included will be a colour, 28 page booklet. The first press also comes with a “picture label”, which is an individual random printout of one of the members. The print out is sealed in the packaging, so there’s no way to know who you’re getting. Furthermore, out of the first press editions, 100 will come with a board signed by one of the members.
The band is also teaming up with FOOL’S MATE to release a “FOOL’S MATE EDITION” version of their 「Two Hurt」 single. This version is available by mailorder only, and applications will be accepted until October 30th.
With this version, you get a CD that contains two tracks, one of which is a not yet released song, plus a three track live DVD, and a 16 page colour booklet for 2400 yen (plus shipping).
