  • Interview with O-PARTS

    O-PARTS is a two-man unit that started in June of 2009, formed by vocalist sho-ka (ex. Vogus Image) and bassist Jun (GaGaaalinG, ex. WAIVE). Great news for all Synside fans! First of all, the band is going to release its first mini-album entitled 「約束された安堵、その代償」(Yakusoku Sareta Ando, Sono Daishou). It will go on sale on the 25th of August for 2625 yen and will include 5 tracks. More details to follow.

To commemorate the release, they will have their first oneman live! The live will take place on the 8th of September at Osaka Shinsaibashi CLUB ALIVE. Tickets cost 3000 yen a piece.

Finally, we haven’t mentioned it on S-T yet, but Synside have been organizing consecutive events. The details about the remaining two (the 3rd and 4th one) are:

2-months-consecutive-releases-for-dear-lnovel

Dear L’Novel have just announced that they’ll be releasing 2-months consecutive singles in summer!

The first one will be entitled 「The last recollection」and go on sale on the 14th of July for 1470 yen. It will be limited to 500 copies only and include a special digipack jacket. The CD itself will contain 3 songs:

1. The last recollection
2. absolute sorrow
3. The last recollection (inst)

The second single in that campaign will be released on the 11th of August under the title 「Winter lover」. It will cost 1575 yen and be limited to 1000 copies. What is more, it will include an 8-pages-long special booklet and 3 tracks:

1. Winter lover
2. SAKURA
3. nostalgia

The members of Larme d’ange are looking for actual staff members to help the band out. So far the only requirements are that you must be 18 or older and they don’t care on what gender you are. Would you ever apply to become a band staff or roadie?

Besides the December 6th event we just updated about, the band also has a New Year’s Eve event with CROW MUSIC called CROW MUSIC SUPER COUNT DOWN EVENT Vol.5. Groups who will be joining are WHITEBLACK, n’DooL, LICKER, GRiST, SUICIDE ALI, Valentine, Dear L’Novel, Vallquar, ZEROZERO and a few others! They also have a handful of lives until February.

Other news, they have a new look including support member Rai! What do you think of the new look?

Okay, I know a few of you are wondering what will be happening to GRIEVER since last night was Kikyo’s last live with the group (also was a live that celebrated the band’s first anniversary). The band has 2 more lives listed before the year ends.

They have a live on December 6th, with bands like camino, Larme d’ange, BLACK MARY, Dear L’Novel and many others… And their last live of the year will be on December 26th sponsored by UNDER CODE called act unlawfully Vol:21. Bands who will play along with GRIEVER are Megaromania, LOTMAN, ClearVeil, DI3SIRAE, VELGREED and E’m~grief~.

As Inka told you about 2 weeks ago, Dear L’Novel is going to release their second maxi-single 「Solitude」 soon. We know have a few more details on that new release produced by EMIRU (ex-Lareine ; Anubis).

There’s a new band in town and they go by the name of Dear L’Novel (ディアーラ ノベル) Hailing from Osaka, this band is fairly new as they have formed September this year and begun activities in October. Much like any other band, their concept is that every member has a specific desire/meaning that produces a story.
