Souiumono’s New Maxi-Single, Tour and One Man

Souiumono’s been a bit quiet as of late, but it seems that there was a very good reason! The band recently announced on its OHP that Souiumono will be releasing a new Maxi-Single titled 「殺人鬼の棲む街」 “Satsujinki no Sumu Machi” on May 15th! Information on the maxi-single, such as price, track listing and such have yet to be released, but when we receive more information you can be sure that we will update you!
In addition to the new single, Souiumono will be participating in「MY littleHEARTS.Tour Edition Vol.2」which will be hitting 14 stops throughout Japan, starting in late May! All tickets are ¥4000/¥4500 with doors opening at 16:00/17:00. Bands on this tour include Souiumono, Megamasso, Kameleo, DaizyStripper, Blu-BiLLioN, Alsdead, and others. Teru & Shinpei’s Session Band

It seems that not only Kamijo will be keeping himself busy during Versailles’s hiatus! Guitarist Teru recently announced on his Ameblo that he will be participating in a special session band at Takadanobaba AREA on March 20th for SuG’s drummer Shinpei’s birthday. Members of this special session band include Yuugiri of Daizystripper on vocals, Teru and a Mystery Guest on guitar, Yo of Matenrou Opera on bass, and Shinpei of SuG on drums. Tickets are ¥3000/¥3500 and will be available for purchase on eplus.

Halloween is becoming the busiest time of the year for visual kei, it seems like!
dwangya, a visual kei project managed by popular mobile company Dwango, has announced a Halloween Special Event featuring some of your favorite visual kei artists.
On October 18th at Roppongi’s nicoffare, a variety of visual kei vocalists will be performing dressed as–you probably already guessed it–vampires!
Participating vocalists are:
(From upper-left to lower-right) Aoi (168-one sixty eight-), Yuugiri (DaizyStripper), yo-ka (DIAURA), Jui (GOTCHAROCKA), Hitomi (Moran), and Subaru (Royz).
The event will be broadcast live on Nico Nico on the 生dwangya channel. The event starts at 19:00.
But wait–there’s more!
In addition, there will be a lottery for 100 pairs of people (200 people total) to attend the event in Roppongi free of charge! If you’re in Japan right now, you can enter the lottery here until 23:59 on October 11th. Winners will be notified via e-mail on October 12th. All selected guests must also wear a costume!

Introducing RUVISH

RUVISH is a new band that formed in May of this year, and who will have their first sponsored event and live on November 19th.
The band consists of five members, including some familiar faces.

The band’s first live, and first sponsored event will take place on November 19th at Shibuya O-WEST, and is titled 『ガラクタロックフェスティバル Vol.1』 (Garakuta Rock Festival Vol. 1). Tickets cost 3800 yen, and other bands playing that night include Megamasso, GlamGrammar, DaizyStripper, HERO, and DuelJewel.
The band name, RUVISH, is a combination of the words “rubbish” and “garakuta”, which means debris or junk. Their concept to show the great dreams of the five members who have gathered together. RUVISH describes their sound as rugged rock, that is accompanied by delicate music.

DaizyStripper to play at Animethon 19

Earlier this month, we wrote about DaizyStripper participating at the French festival Japan Expo. The band has now announced they will venture overseas once again in August, this time to play at Canadian anime festival Animethon!
Animethon 19 will be held from August 10th to August 12th in the city of Edmonton, Alberta. The schedule for the events will be released a few weeks prior to the date. Ticket prices and ordering information can be found here. DaizyStripper’s concert is free for the convention attendees.

DaizyStripper to play at Japan Expo

Japan Expo is a French festival dedicated to Japanese culture and entertainment. Artists such as vistlip and ViViD have played there in previous years, and they announced today that DaizyStripper will be one of their musical guests in 2012!
Japan Expo will be held at Paris-Nord Villepinte Exhibition Center from July 5th to July 8th. Tickets for all four days are 40 euros, the price for day tickets and premium tickets can be found here.

DaizyStripper announced today that they will release their second mini-album this year!
Nothing else is known about the release except that it is scheduled to come out in August, but we’ll keep you posted!

Moi dix Mois to play at Versailles’ anniversary live

Last month we posted about Versailles’ two day event to celebrate their 5th anniversary. KAMIJO tweeted today that there is an update to the already impressive line-up: Moi dix Mois (who celebrate their 10th anniversary this year) will join D as their special guest on the second day!
June 23rd
Versailles / 摩天楼オペラ (Matenrou Opera) / Kaya / 凜 (LIN) / DaizyStripper
June 24th
Versailles / D / Moi dix Mois (special guest)
The event, titled Versailles Presents Tokyo Metropolis, will take place at Ebisu Liquid Room. Tickets for each day are 5,250 yen and go on general sale on April 7th.

DaizyStripper has teamed up with another brand for a collaboration!
Their collaboration is with A&G, who they’ve worked with once before. To celebrate their 5th year anniversary, they’ve created a special pick.
The pick, which is made out of silver, has both DaizyStripper’s and A&G’s logo on one side, and the band’s famous girl with rabbit ears on the other side.
The pick itself costs 11,550 yen. There is the option of making it into a necklace, and through the store you can also purchase a leather choker, making the price 12,600 yen, or a silver ball chain, for a total of 13,650 yen.
Also included is a special CD case.
The pick will only be on sale for a limited time, so if you’d like to buy one, you can reserve from now until April 21st.
Along with the release of the pick, the band will be having two instore events at A&G stores.
