On November 26th a DVD entitled 「SHOCK WAVE THE MOVIE 01」 will be released for 3990 yen!
This DVD contains footage from the SHOCK WAVE event that took place on June 15th at LIQUIDROOM EBISU and features DaizyStripper, lynch., chariots and ビリー (Billy).

DaizyStripper’s releases

DaizyStripper is releasing two CDs on the same day; December 10th!
The first is the country-wide release, regular press edition of their single 「TRUTH」 for 1300 yen. This one was originally released on October 15th, but only to select shops. The new country-wide version will have a completely different look to the original.
The second is the 2nd press of their 「CROSS」 mini-album for 2200 yen. Orignally it was released this past June for 3000 yen (on two discs) however, the second press will be on one disc and come complete with a new jacket.

Random Fact of the Day

Its that time again, time for the random fact. Today’s random fact is a level of awesome that I can’t describe. The only way for you to truly experience the awesome is to just say the fact. Rei from DaizyStripper said when he was a kid, he wanted to be a garbage truck when he grew up.
So like…he wanted to be the actual garbage truck and not the man loading/hauling off the trash? If that is the case I want to be a school bus.

This was posted by ReiNa on myspace. She asked that it be reposted so….I’m doing just that. ST gladly supports fan projects/activities. She mentions that once they have a good amount of people, they’re thinking of splitting it up into regions and countries - and requesting for the street team to become official.
A friend and I are working on a general street team for the band - no specific regions or countries. We just want to add up as many people as we can to show them support and spread the word.

SPEED DISK PRESENTS

The label, SPEED DISK has announced that they’ll be sponsoring an event this November called SPEED DISK PRESENTS～「森羅万象 TOUR’08」 (Shinrabanshou) and it will cover four places around Japan.
The event tour starts on November 12th at Nagoya’s Electric Lady Land, followed by a performance at Kyoto MUSE the following day, ESAKA MUSE on the 14th and ending at Hakata Be-1 on November 16th.
The bands performing at the event all four days are D=OUT, 【_Vani;lla】, DaizyStripper and SCREW. R指定 (R-15) Moran, Serial Number and xTRiPx will also be performing but at the Hakata showing only.
The shows all open at 5:00, start half an hour later and cost 3800 yen (or 4300 yen the day of).

DaizyStripper’s new single updates

Last month Miku posted about DaizyStripper’s new single that was coming out on October 15th.
The band has now announced the titles! The single is “TRUTH” and the second track is 「ルード･ボーイ｣ (Rude Boy). They’ve also stated that the single will be released in sixteen shops around Japan which makes it a lot easier for overseas fans to purchase.

DaizyStripper hits the USA

DaizyStripper has just announced on their OHP that they’ll be having their very first overseas live this summer!
Turns out the band will be performing at OTAKON this year along with The Underneath and MarBell, and they will not only be holding a live performance but will be available for a meet and greet as well. The convention takes place from August 8th until the 10th at the Baltimore Convention Center.
The band’s live performance will be on the 10th.

DaizyStripper’s New Release

DaizyStripper will be releasing a new single on October 15th! It will contain 2 songs and cost 1300 yen. It will be sold in visual kei cd shops nationwide (a list is posted on their ohp if you’d like to see which shops). Reservation privilege is a DVD containing the new single PV. There is no title released as of yet.

DaizyStipper in the mags

DaizyStripper’s oneman lives

DaizyStripper will be having three oneman lives that covers Tokyo, Nagoya and Osaka this September! The title of the tour is 『CROSS』 ～激情トリップ/流星トリップ～ (Gekijou Trip / Ryuusei Trip) and the details are as follows:
September 4th @ Namba ROCKETS ～ Gekijou Trip ～
September 6th @ Nagoya HOLIDAY ～ Ryuusei Trip ～
September 8th @ Takadanobaba AREA ～ Gekijou Trip ～
Tickets all cost 3000 yen or 3500 yen at the door. They go on sale starting June 28th.

Is it just me, or are these boys getting up there really fast? I mean they only formed in March of 2007, and their first live was a couple days over a year ago. Really good for them, but they are definitely moving fast!

DaizyStripper postpones release

As we talked about here, DaizyStripper was planning on having a two month consecutive release starting on Ma 28th and continuing on June 25th. However, because of strong wishes by the band they have decided to postpone the release of both of the singles.
The apologize to the fans, but say that after worrying about it, thinking about it and talking about it a lot they arrived that the current decision. Originally both singles were meant to come together to tell a story, and they have decided that they want to release all four tracks as a single release.
Therefore, on June 11th they’ll be releasing a two box set called “CROSS” in stores that sell music by Visual bands all around the country.

Visu-Annite#01

On May 29th, there’s an event called “Visu-Annite#01″ going down at Astro-Hall in Harajuku. The event has band performances, a DJ, VJ, dancers and a fashion show! So there’s definitely a lot going on.
The bands that will be playing that night are:
Aka-Neko (Inugami-Kyoko & Inugami-Jouji), NaRu-Project, A.Q.U.A, Pure Q&A, Spider Dennou Mellow, Aural Vampire, GaGaaling, Daizy Stripper and there’s also a Secret Special Gest GIG!
The DJs are Takuya Angel, KERWIN and Raveman (Aural Vampire). The VJ is Eizou-Kumikyouku. Performances by Satsuki and Hime. Dancers are Roccka (AUTO-MOD), Mari and Vivi (From Naru Project).
And of course, you have the Takuya Angel models which include:

DaizyStripper releases

DaizyStripper will be releasing a 2 month consecutive release. On May 28th, they will be releasing their 2nd single called 『星空と君の手』(Hoshizora to kimi no te) and on June 25th their 3rd single, 『ジュリエットのナイフ』 (Jurietto no Naifu (Juliette’s Knife)) will be released. Both will cost 1300yen and include 2 songs.

hide Memorial Summit

Well, more news about the hide Memorial Summit!
The list of the participating bands (and the days they will be playing) has been revealed, including some news that will excite a lot of fans — Phantasmagoria will be reuniting one more day to perform at the summit.
On May 3rd we have:
hide with Spread Beaver, T.M.Revolution, DJ OZMA, RIZE, Maximum the Hormone, hurdy gurdy, Phantasmagoria, Versailles, MarBell and DaizyStripper
And on May 4th:
X JAPAN, LUNA SEA, Dir en grey, OBLIVION DUST, MUCC, D’espairsRay, the Underneath and heidi.
Everyone who attends the summit will receive a wristband as a present. The summit opens at noon and begins at 2:00. It’s incredibly expensive to go, the cost for one day is 14800 yen (about $150) and for both days, 25000 yen (around $250).

… does anyone else find it maybe just a bit odd that X JAPAN is only playing one of the two days? I would have thought they’d play on both… Another thing that surprises me, is that there’s no Miyavi listed. I’ve seen in forums tons of fans saying they were sure he’d be there… and yet, he’s not. Unless of course he ends up being that sixth guitarist YOSHIKI was talking about… One more that’s awesome but surprising to see is DaizyStripper.

DaizyStripper’s 1st oneman!

DaizyStripper has announced their first oneman!
It’ll be called “Stripper’s Kingdom” (winner name) and take place on June 6th at Shibuya BOXX. It’ll open at 6:00, start at 7:00 and cost 2800 yen. Tickets go on sale starting March 8th… that’s pretty far in advance, isn’t it?
The band has been up to a lot lately, they’re having an instore event in March and will also appear in March’s Zy and V-ROCK STAR.

DaizyStripper has announced that they’ll be releasing their first single and dvd entitled 「ダンデライオン」 (Dandelion) on February 13th! The CD contains the title song (they only have one track listed for it on the OHP) and the DVD contains a “Videoclip”. Who knows if that means PV or live footage.
The cost is 1500 yen (which seems expensive to me if there’s only one track on the CD) and it’s limited to 1000 copies.
Unfortunately for overseas DaizyStripper fans the release will only be sold at Like an Edison (which has three stores; Nagoya, Tokyo and Osaka) or at their lives. Although I’m sure if you give it a couple of months it’ll be available either on Yahoo! Auctions or even on Puresound.
