Wonderful news for D fans today! This year, D will be celebrating their 10th Anniversary and will definitely be doing it in style! There is so many good things happening for the band, including a new live-only single, a Best of Album and DVD collection, new PVs, and a dozen special 10th Anniversary lives. So, let’s get to it!
To get started, D will be releasing a special “Best of~”Anniversary Box Set on April 7th. “Treasure Box” will include 2 CDs, a DVD, and a special photo booklet. Currently, it is only available for pre-order in Japan, but we imagine there will be a general release for International fans in the near future. The set is ¥9800.

D will also be releasing their 10th Anniversary single “Bon Voyage” on April 12th. The single is a special live-only single, so you’ll have to be at one of their many upcoming lives to snag yourself a copy! It includes 2 songs and costs ¥1000. (Note that this is live-only for the C.C Lemon Hall live.)
As for the lives, there are many coming! The band announced recently on their OHP that they will be embarking on a stagger number of lives, starting off in Nagoya, then Osaka, before ending in Tokyo! There will be a two-night special set of lives (tickets sold separately) in both Nagoya and Osaka… Tokyo, however, will be getting 11 Special Showcase lives, 10 of which will be back-to-back! Tickets for the Osaka and Nagoya shows are ¥4200/¥4700, and their 10-night Takadanobaba AREA lives are ¥3800/¥4200. Tickets for their C.C. Lemon Hall Premium Showcase will be ¥5200/¥5700.

D’s new mini-album

D fans will have something to look foward to in November!
On November 14th, D will be releasing a six track new mini-album! The title is 「名もなき森の夢語り」 (Namonaki Mori no Yumegatari), and it will be released in three types.
Type A will cost 2980 yen, and along with the mini-album, also includes the PV for the title track, 「名もなき森の夢語り」 (Namonaki Mori no Yumegatari).
Type B is 2625 yen, and instead of having a PV, contains Making of footage for the 「名もなき森の夢語り」 (Namonaki Mori no Yumegatari) PV.
Type C is 2520 yen, and has an extra two tracks.
The concept of the release, according to what’s written on Brand-X is as follows.
The concept for the mini-album is the “forest”, which acts as a symbol for the origin of life.
The melody has been dyed in a mulitcoloured fleeting, yet magestic, world view.
Wanting to bestow the richness to the hearts of modern people who are beginning to dry out, [the music] will open a door for you to a long forgotten magical story.
Another interestnig piece of news for fans of D is that ESP is currently selling Ruiza, Hide-zou, and Tsunehito’s guitar and bass models!

Their next live appearance is on July 16th at Akasaka BLITZ. Other artists performing at the event are Zoro, HERO and v[neu]. Tickets cost 4,800 yen and already on sale.

The third instalment on the CRUSH! series of 90′s visual rock cover songs has been announced! As the title suggests, this released will be centred around love songs. It comes out on June 27th and costs 3,150 yen.
Interesting to note is that one of the bands participating is comprised of members of different bands! It’s called CRASH 49 and the members are: ν［NEU］’s みつ (Mitsu) on vocal, ギルド (Guild)’s YOSHIHIRO and OZ’s Aki on guitar, NoGoD’s 華凛 (Karin) on bass and D’s HIROKI on drums.

D to hold Q&A sessions at European shows

D’s European tour starts next week and fans who are attending the shows have yet another reason to get pumped up: the band will be holding a Q&A session before each live!
Dear D fans..
The band D will be appearing live in 14 european cities soon.
The band is willing to be closer to their audience than last year and in this goal, there asked us to organise a meeting with fans, so this year, there will be a Questions & Answers meeting with fans just before the show, 30 minutes after opening doors. Right after the Q&A, the band will take a picture with the full audience and this photo will be broadcast directlty into social networks and band websites and everyone can use it. This will be a unique memory for all fans coming to the shows. We hope to see you in big number..

Kaya’s new single

After successfully finishing his Europe tour together with 砂月 (Satsuki) and with the final of his Vampire Requiem tour coming up next month, Kaya is already busy with a new release!
Kaya will participate at the Tokyo Decadance DX special White at Christon Cafe on March 31st. Tickets to the event cost 4,000 yen. Attendants who follow the dresscode (white) will receive a 1,000 yen discount.
Furthermore, he will participate at D’s Mad Tea Party vol. 25 at Yokohama BLITZ on April 8th. Tickets are 4,200 yen and other participating artists include D, Versailles, Dolly and Lc5.
The final of his one-man tour, Kaya単独公演 薔薇の葬列 -Vampire Requiem- (Kaya tandoku kouen bara no souretsu -Vampire Requiem), will take place at Kichijouji STAR PINE’S CAFE on April 30th. Tickets are 4,000 yen.

Mad tea party MAGAZINE Vol. 12 & Special Photo Book

On April 25th, D will be releasing both “Mad tea party MAGAZINE Vol. 12″ and “MTPMα 10 -SPECIAL PHOTO BOOK-”!
Volume 12 of the “Mad tea party MAGAZINE” will feature D as the front cover artist, and Versailles on the back. Other artists in the issue will include Dolly, FEST VAINQUEUR, Lin, Awoi, Black Gene For the Next Scene, Lc5, Kaya, Kiryuu and Matenrou Opera.
The magazine is 1200 yen.
The special photo book will feature the same artists, but with an added bonus of Ruiza on the back cover, and a Ruiza photo gravure. Also included is a special section on Ruiza’s solo work, “abyss”, which was just released on March 21st.
The special photobook is 1700 yen.

Q. Erniee~ Do you know what Runchu has been doing since the disbandment of Tokyo Shitei? I saw the one day revival he was in(Plum, I think…) but that’s all I’ve heard~ Do you know anything else? If you do thank you! If not, still, thank you!
A. Unfortunately, it looks like he’s retired and isn’t doing anything right now.
Q. Hello! I want to know, if Rena retired from the music scene after his departure from D? Do you know something new about him?
A.He did retire! There’s a lot of purely rumor-based speculation about Rena, but we’ll probably never know what he’s really up to now.

Soon after the tour final had ended, several of the attendees reported on further announcements made by the band, including two singles and one album. According to TERU’s blog post, these announcements should appear in their official site soon.
Looks like Versailles has a great year planned ahead!

Shattered-Tranquility.net is always wanting to bring fans together by creating a space to interact and to enjoy visual kei together! Well, the Big Ern is here today bringing you another special feature that we’ve added to the site!
My VK Room / Space
In this feature, we want you to send us a photo and a description of the visual kei that you have deocrating your room, or special space! Pimp your room out to me!
To get the ball rolling, our very own staff member, amenitygain, has graciously shared the visual kei section of her room with us. I’d show you mine, but it’s much too much too personal.
Self-Introduction
Hi, my name is Amenity Gain. I have been a visual kei fan for ten years. My first bands were Miyavi, Dir en Grey, and X-Japan. My favorite band is D. I’m 23 years old, and I live in the Seattle area, in the United States. I enjoy the simple things in life, work two jobs, and enjoy cosplaying, and singing. Jrock has been a big part of my life for such a long time. I honestly can’t imagine my life without it. It’s been a long road, with lots of heartbreak, but at the same time, lots of happy moments. Visual kei is something that I don’t think I will ever stop loving.

What band or bands are featured in your room?
The band featured in my room is D. I will probably be adding my other jrock magazines onto the other parts of my wall, but right now, I only have D.
What visual kei item in your room is your favorite?
It’s really hard to pick just one item as my favorite. I love all of my items, but if I absolutely had to pick one, I would probably pick my signed birthday card.
Anything special in your room?
I have a signed birthday card by D. Ruiza wrote “Happy Birthday” on it, and Hide-Zou wrote my name on it. This was given to me by a friend of mine, and I had no idea that she was going to do it. I also have my ticket from D’s Major Debut Concert, which is special to me because it was the first time I saw them in concert, and it was in Japan. The ticket is from 2008, but I couldn’t bare to throw it away. It’s too precious! I also have a Die autograph from the first time I saw Dir en grey, back in 2007, at WaMu theatre in Seattle. It’s really special to me, because it was the first time meeting a jrocker, and it was also the first time going to a rock concert.
Anything else you’d like to add?
I just, really like D, hahaha. This was collected over the years, and I love my collection. I also have a guitar pick that Ruiza threw at me at Akon of last year, which is not pictured, but it is in my room. I have my bookshelf pictured, which has anime as well on it, but I figured it would be too difficult to crop those out, so I just took a picture of the entire thing. My cd+dvd collection includes more than just D. I have bands like Versailles, Gilltia, Pan-d- ra, Hizaki Grace Project, Klaha, and many others. I also have my magazine collection, consisting of many issues of Cure, Fool’s Mate, and Shoxx. A few photobooks, vinyl syndicates, and mad tea party magazines are also present on my bookshelf.

One more European date for D

Good news for Polish D fans! After making a rather enigmatic post on their Facebook page asking whether the Polish visual kei fans wanted a good surprise, Torpedo Productions has announced that the band will be playing in Krakow on April 21st. Venue and ticket sale details haven’t been released yet.
The other dates for D’s Europe tour, as well as their first South American tour, can be found here.
Ruiza to release a solo album

Ruiza, the guitarist of D, will be releasing a Solo Album titled “Abyss.” It will be relased on March 21st, and is his second solo album since joining D.
The solo album is available on Brand-X, and costs 2100 yen.
