new-band-jest-ex-club-f-ever

Visunavi has recently introduced a new band that has started live activities on May 14th. But ジェスト (Jest) is not really what we could call a brand new band. Indeed, all its members were in Club f-ever, a band we’ve introduced on ST before their disbandment in April.

Vocals : 蓮 (Ren)
Guitar : 譲流 (Yuzuru)
Guitar : フミ (Fumi)
Bass : 舜 (Shun)
Drums : 遥 (Haru)

It looks like the band has given up their “host-club” concept to a more casual Visual Kei band as you can see on the picture.

As I told you earlier, the band has started live performances on May 14th with bands like Administrator, D-ZEL, or THE GLADROW, and they have lives planned until the end of July with other nice bands. They already had some songs when they were still know as Club f-ever, so let’s hope they’ll release something soon !

random-fact-of-the-day

I think that I would make a great host. I mean, who wouldn’t pay to hang out with me?
Today’s random fact comes from Ren of club f-ever, who Adrienne introduced earlier today.

When asked what he feels is necessary for world peace, he answered:

Humans no longer existing in this world
It’s because humans are the only ones who have pointless conflicts, which isn’t needed in the world.

That’s pretty intense. But unfortunately kind of true…

That’s why Big Ern’s motto is make love, not war. Cliche, but oh-so-appropriate.

club-f-ever

club f-ever is a band I’ve been meaning to write up an introduction for for a while now, mostly because I admittedly love their concept, which is quite simply: hosts.

For those who don’t know much about it, host clubs are etablishments in Japan (and are seen in other countries as well) where women can go to have conversations, drinks, and so forth with (generally) good looking men… for a fee, of course. You can find more information about it online (there’s lots available) but a good place to start is wikipedia.

Anyways, I like their concept. They say that the members each have their own personality, which creates part of the charm to their stage performances. The members of the band are as follows.

clubfever

Vocals - 蓮 (Ren) (ex-NERO, ex-13Kaidan)
Guitar - フミ (Fumi)
Guitar - 譲流 (Yuzuru)
Bass - 瞬 (Shun)
Drums - 遥 (Haru)

Each of the member’s have their own personal sites, so if you’re interested in checking them out, click their names.

The band formed in May of last year, and started performing on August 13th, with their first live being at Ikebukuro Cyber. Since then they have held a few lives within the Tokyo area, and have a few more lives planned in the upcoming weeks.

On their OHP, the band has also uploaded a ‘gift’, which you can assume by the attire it was meant for the holidays, but it’s still up there, so here it is:

Unfortunately, there’s not much about their music as of yet. So while they have the visual side built up well, the true test will be if they can make music to match.
