    GLACIER is a five-member group from Okinawa, comprising of Makoto on vocals, Nao on lead guitar, Koujirou on rhythm guitar, Aki on bass, and Yuuki on drums.     O-PARTS is a two-man unit that started in June of 2009, formed by vocalist sho-ka (ex. Vogus Image) and bassist Jun (GaGaaalinG, ex. WAIVE).     In 2002, Kaya made his vocal debut in the Mana produced two-man unit, Schwarz Stein. In 2004, Schwarz Stein disbanded, and departing from the label the band was signed to, Kaya became a free singer. ClearVeil’s 「Anthology」

ClearVeil will be disbanding on the 4th of July. The band has decided, however, to release a members-selected collection of their songs, before ending their activities.

The album will be entitled 「Anthology」 and will go on sale on the 6th of June in 2 types: Type A including a CD and a DVD for 3990 yen and Type B with CD only for 3150 yen. The tracklist is as follows:

Thanks to shiyuu for the heads up!

ClearVeil have announced that they will be disbanding on July 4th after their oneman at Nagoya Electric Lady Land.

The following announcement was placed on their OHP:

Although we began in 2007 and have been active for about three years now, due to the members having a huge of opinion, that is impossible to repair, regarding our music and the direction of the band, ClearVeil have decided to disband on July 4th after their oneman performance at Nago Electric Lady Land.

To all of our fans who have been supporting us, and to all those connected to the band, we want to give you our sincere thanks.

We still have a bit of time left together, so as we will put all of our energy into everything we do up until our final performance, we hope that you will continue to support all of us.

The members have not posted comments regarding the announcement yet, but hopefully they are to follow. A few of them have said in their blogs that they’re sorry they’re disbanding, but nothing more.

As mentioned above their final performance will be on July 4th at Electric Lady Land and will be part of their Osaka, Nagoya and Tokyo last oneman tour called 「Termination」.

Details and venues are as follows.

June 20th @ Meguro Rock Maykan
June 30th @ Namba Rockets
July 4th @ Nagoya E.L.L

Tickets for the Tokyo and Osaka shows cost 3200 yen a piece, and the one in Nagoya is 3500 yen. Tickets go on sale starting May 8th.

On April 10th, Ren’s (from Dali) project, ロットマン (LOTMAN), will be releasing a live DVD called 「サンプルエモーション」 (Sample Emotion)!

The DVD will only be available for purchase through the UNDER CODE PRODUCTION WEB SHOP and at lives. The cost is 2000 yen (plus shipping), and it contains three tracks plus bonus footage:

3. that’s now freeザツナフリ (That’s Now Free)
+ Bonus Footage

Orders placed through the webshop before March 31st, will also receive a special Ren original polaroid.

UCP 7 Year Anniversary Event

UNDER CODE is celebrating seven years in 2010, and will be holding an event called 「地下線7周年記念祭」 (Chikasen 7 Year Anniversary) on March 13th at OSAKA MUSE.

The bands performing that night will be ネガ (Nega), 平成維新 (Heisei Ishin), Megaromania, ClearVeil, Arc and Dali as well as special guests, Seven, spiv states, 愛狂います。(Aicle.) and 己龍 (Kiryuu).

The event will cost 4000 yen to attend, and tickets go on sale starting January 9th.

The celebrations don’t stop there, the day after on March 14th, UCP will also be holding an anniversary session event at ESAKA MUSE. Both bands and session bands will be playing that night, and the full-time bands performing are: spiv states, カル・ヴァリ (Kalvary), アイギス (Aigis), E’m~grief~, シンディケイト (CINDY&KATE) and Synside.

We have a lot of exciting new tour news from lynch.!

First, they will be playing a show on February 28th, 2010 at Nagoya Bottom Line entitled 「NAME OF NAGOYA」. Playing at the show with lynch. will be DEATHGAZE, ClearVeil, Juliette, Lycaon, meth., and ハートレス (heartless). There will also be a special session band performing. Tickets will cost 2010 yen in advance and will go on sale December 26th or can be purchased the day of for 2510 yen.

Second, lynch. will be having a mini-tour in spring 2010 which has been dubbed the “Quattro tour”, entitled 『QUATTRO 3 NITES』. The tour dates are as follows:

March 31st 2010 Shinsaibashi CLUB QUATTRO

The first release comes out on March 17th, and is called 「Black Belvet」. It’s coming out in two types, both of which cost 1365 yen.

GRIEVER’s upcoming lives

Okay, I know a few of you are wondering what will be happening to GRIEVER since last night was Kikyo’s last live with the group (also was a live that celebrated the band’s first anniversary). The band has 2 more lives listed before the year ends.

They have a live on December 6th, with bands like camino, Larme d’ange, BLACK MARY, Dear L’Novel and many others… And their last live of the year will be on December 26th sponsored by UNDER CODE called act unlawfully Vol:21. SCUBER DIVE is an important Visual Kei event that’s been created two years ago, back in 2007. This event takes place both in Tokyo and Osaka, usually on the same day(s) and it gathers a lot of popular indie bands in different live houses of both cities. And it seems the two first editions were a success as the program of this year’s SCUBER DIVE has been revealed !

Like it was already the case last year, the SCUBER DIVE is split in two part, one in Osaka (Naniwa) and one in Tokyo (Shibuya). So, those of you who are lucky enough to be in Japan in that period should definitly go ! Hard choice though !

The timetable has yet to be revealed precisely, but it will be hold on July 31st and August 3rd, and here are the bands that are going to perform this year (more details on the timetable as soon as possible)

ClearVeil will be having a special two year anniversary live!

The live will take place at HOLIDAY NAGOYA on March 26th, and is called 「F・R・e・A・k Party」. Tickets cost 3000 yen and go on sale February 14th.

So they have some cool things planned; they’re calling it an “all request live”, where on that day they will be playing songs that were ranked 10 ~ 1 by the fans. They are currently taking requests and will be until the last day of the month.

Other features of the live, are the members performing with a part change (changing instruments), Naruka and Nozomi singing to their own accompaniment, a costume display, plus a chance to get your photo taken with the members (this will be a lottery for those who buy goods at the live).

They also have other things planned for that live, that have not yet been announced.

The end of missing tracklist

Just over a month ago we talked about UNDER CODE PRODUCTION’s 「SUPER COMPILATION ALBUM」, 「The end of missing」, that was coming out on March 4th.

Well, they have posted the tracklist for the album and it is as follows (band name followed by song title).

2. Megaromania – Transparent Shine
3. 平成維新 (Heisei Ishin) – 破片 (Hahen; Fragment)
4. Lamina – 布教和音 (Fukyou Waon; Propogation Chord)
5. brodiaea – インフェルノ (Inferno)
6. E’m~grief~ – 独白の空 (Dokuhaku no Sora; Monologue of the Sky)
7. SIVA – Brave
8. Dali – Thursday
9. Arc – 惜別 (Sekibetsu; Parting Regrets)
10. ClearVeil – 灰色ノ一片 (Haiiro no Ippen; A Slice of Grey)
11. ネガ (Nega) – Another eyes of reminiscence

Just as a reminder, the bonus track by G.O.L has been cancelled.
