Cinema [S'trip] disbands

cinema-strip-disbands

While we had good news for Cinema [S'trip] fans back in May, we unfortunately have to bring you bad news this time.

The following is the announcement posted on the official website:

As it was announced at the roadshow a few days ago, Cinema [S'trip] has decided to disband after their 1/30 Urawa Narciss oneman.

Because details regarding the disbandment will be open to the public through members’ blogs for the time being, we would be pleased if you would read it there.

-Actor’s blog-

For the remaining time, as Cinema [S'trip] would like to proceed with activities with all their power, we would be happy if we could receive your support all the more.

Cinema [S'trip], all members

Below are what the other members had to say.

AKIHISA’s comment:

As it was announced at today’s roadshow, Cinema [S'trip] has decided to disband next year in January after the Urawa NARCISS oneman.

While we are sorry to everyone who took the trouble to support us, my family circumstances, as well as other things to do with myself, have made it difficult to continue band activities, and after discussing it with the members as well as the company, we have decided to disband.

I wanted to withdraw and, although the other 3 members planned to continue with Cinema [S'trip], because the original member at Cinema [S'trip]‘s conception was me alone, who provided for all of our songs, and even while being a poor leader, I took pride in our efforts – so I selfishly acknowledge that it was I who brought up the disbandment.

While we regret to have to bring you this sudden kind of news, despite that it was impossible to wipe out consenting feelings in regards to the band activities, because we would like to prepare for the worst in our remaining time with all our power and without regrets, we would be happy if you could continue to support us until the very end.

ral’s comment:

I’m sorry to everyone, for having to make this sudden announcement.

Due to the members’ situations, Cinema [S'trip] has decided to disband.

Because of leader AKIHISA’s situation, he has to withdraw.

AKIHISA is the foundation that made the band, Cinema [S'trip].
After discussing it with the everyone, we concluded that “If it’s missing even one person, and more than anything, if AKIHISA isn’t there, Cinema [S'trip] doesn’t stand a chance”.

Honestly, because of this decision until… I still thought “I can still do my best from here!”, and that I couldn’t protect that… it’s painful.

But, to me, when I think of all the things that we’ve been able to do until now, one by one, we defintely did the lives with all our power.
Of course, even from here until the end, that won’t change.

And even though Cinema [S'trip] won’t be here anymore, since there are still things I want to do and a lot of things left to do, I personally, until I feel I’ve reached my limits, I want to continue being in a band.

It’s about 2 and a half years since I joined.

That everyone was able to support me, I came running with all my power.

Only a few months remain, but…

To all of our beloved, beloved rippers.

Until the very end, in order to go with all our power☆

I want everyone to fucking bring it on!( ̄ω ̄)b☆

And so, I won’t say good bye just yet☆

To everyone who loves ripper.

Cinema [S'trip]

Yuh’s comment:

After next year’s January oneman, Cinema [S'trip] will disband.

Because the AKIHISA, who is Cinema’s axis and did his best, was leaving, we came to this conclusion after discussing it many times with the members.

Although it was honestly a great shock, and while there are regrettable thoughts, I think the biggest shock was to AKIHISA himself.

Now, more than any words, our mere time with the lives remaining is a risk I’ll take in life.

Even with the sudden announcement, I’m really sorry to everyone who took the trouble to support us, but until the very end, I want to create the best scenery with all of you.

Everyone, come give us all you’ve got until the very end, ne.

leo.’s comment:

To everyone whose legs carried them to the live hall yesterday, as well as everyone giving support from their own homes, truly, thank you.

I’m really sorry to be the only one who is late making this blog announcement…

I don’t think there’s any way to really excuse this sudden disbandment announcement to all the rippers…

Now that it’s been announced, I still honestly can’t figure out my true feelings…
It’s been exactly 3 years since I joined Cinema… And while thinking that, always, without trying to show it off that I had come this far at all, that we’ve reached disbandment is something I want to talk about with you guys.
While listening to main composer AKIHISA’s talk of seceding and the new release going on sale opposite a magazine interview, I thought “so, this is Cinema”… but honestly, I couldn’t catch it at all…
And for a while, although I truly felt that, realistically, AKIHISA’s withdrawal was unavoidable, the first thought that came to my mind was “Even if I’m the only one left, I’ll make Cinema [S'trip] go on”.

Even in the beginning, I said to myself that Cinema [S'trip] was the step up into the next field.

Still
Now that time has opened up, I wonder if Cinema [S'trip] would really be Cinema [S'trip] without our AKIHISA there…
Or if with just the combined power of 4 people, would my own thoughts make it deteriorate…
I want for AKIHISA, who concentrated his efforts on the members more than anything, and Cinema [S'trip] more than anyone, to have the best graduation… I’m determined for everyone to graduate from Cinema [S'trip].

To me, Cinema [S'trip] was everything.

Music is also my proof of life.

I think that, even in my long music life, this is the highest peak.

I’m sorry to say that Cinema [S'trip] will disband next year.

Although my life as leo. of Cinema [S'trip] will be over in 2 months’ time, I haven’t yet chosen to end my music life.

To me, although I can only think that Cinema’s existence could become bigger, on the day that I have to say goodbye, if I can say with a smile “See you later♪ Wait for me, ne♪” at the very end of the end, I want to do it in that awkward way as I please.

To all my dear rippers
Until the very end, I’ll do my best for you who took the trouble to love Cinema [S'trip]

Until now, please let’s have the best – in all the world the best and highest 2 months together.

Cinema [S'trip] leo.

Random Fact of the Day

random-fact-of-the-day

Its that time again, time for the random fact of the day. I’m big Ern, bringing you this awesome feature. Anyways…ever wonder how bands come up with their names? Well we can tell you how Cinema S’trip came up with theirs.

The band name “Cinema S’trip” was created by taking “S’trip” off of the member’s former band, S’trip nude. The “S’trip” part isn’t a funny spelling of “strip” but is actually taking the “S” from sadistic and adding “trip” to it.

The band chose “Cinema” because of their concept, “When you listen to our music, it’s the kind of music that reminds of you a spectacle”, and they felt that “Cinema” was a word that fit.

Putting the two together the band decided on the name “Cinema S’trip”.

New member of Cinema Strip

new-member-of-cinema-strip

Back in May we talked about Cinema Strip and how they were going to add a new bassist to their band, but before they did that, they were going to have three lives with three different support bassists and in the end, one of them would become the real member.

Well, after saying all that it turns out ラル (ral) formerly of E.L.L will be joining their ranks! He was the first support bassist of the three and now Cinema Strip is a four member band!

Cinema [S'trip] news

cinema-strip-news

Good news for Cinema [S'trip]!
In June, they’ll be having a rotation of guest bassists in their band, and then on June 28th they’ll be welcoming a new bassist to their ranks!

So here are the details:
June 4th @ Ikebukuro CYBER : ラル (ral) of ex.ELL.
June 10th @ Urawa Narciss : 勇人 (Hayato ) of ex.オウガ (Ogre)
June 15th @ Ikebukuro CYBER: 秋斗 (Akito) of ex.キャラめる (Caramel)

Now, the new bassist that’ll be joining their band will be one of the three boys mentioned above, yet they haven’t announced who yet. Akito has been supporting for them for a little while now, so my bet would be on him. But, we’ll have to wait until June to find out.
