All BORN fans have something to look forward to in March!
The band will be releasing a new single titled, “RADICAL HYSTERIA” on March 21st. The single, which is priced at 1575 yen, contains a total of three tracks:
1. RADICAL HYSTERIA
2. COBRA
3. IN CREATURE
The band had two oneman lives planned for March 17th and 18th, which have both already sold out, so congratulations to them!
However, if you’re itching to see them live, they will be having four more oneman lives in May, called “bug scremo “CRAZY” section.1~4″. The lives all cost 3500 yen to attend, and tickets are on sale from now until February 14th.

Recently, BORN did an interview for VISULOG which is now available for reading. One interesting question was about the title of their new album. This was the answer.
Interviewer: What’s the meaning of the [album's] title, “VIGOUR”?
Ryoga: At first, we were interested in the sound of the word, and everyone thought it sounded good. So, we looked it up, and we found that it meant things like, “vitality” and “ferocious”. This album is the opening of 2012, so while it has a good semantic meaning of moving forward, we chose the title “VIGOUR” beacuse we felt that the sound and atmosphere of the word matched the album. In other words, it’s our way of declaring our intentions to push on.

Hello everyone! How many of you know of Pocky Day? Well, Pocky Day in Japan is basically like another Valentine’s day, except you send your friends and loves boxes of Pocky instead of chocolates and roses!
It’s held annually on 11/11. Since this year is 2011, apparently the 11/11/11 made people a little more crazy over the holiday. The fun little holiday is actually more popular in Korea (it’s known as Pepero Day there), but it has a little bit of recognition in Japan as well. And guess which one of our rockers celebrates, or at least recognizes Pocky Day? It’s Kifumi of BORN! He actually tweeted about it♪

Seemed like the other day born released Psycho Diva and now have announced yet another new single this year! The new single is called ProudiA and will be released on December 7th and come in two editions. Limited edition will be 2,625 yen and contain single + dvd pv and the regular edition will just have the cd and cost 1,575 yen.
As you can see, the band also has a shiny new look! What do you think?

born just released their new single DEMONS yesterday but they already announced yet another single coming out this fall! The single is called Psycho Diva and will come in two types. Type A will have 2 tracks: 1) Psycho Diva and 2) DAMNED plus a live clip. Type B will have 3 tracks: 1) Psycho Diva 2) DAMNED 3) Dirty Stacker.

According to Music Japan Plus, PS Company announced on Shibuya O-EAST last night that they will be holding a special event during summer this year.

It’s been six years since the legendary “Peace & Smile Carnival tour 2005″, which had led the PSC bands through the Zepp venues throughout the country. For the next act, the shining new stars of PS COMPANY bands will come together and you shouldn’t miss it!
The performing acts will be SuG and ViViD, who have just made it major, along with D=OUT, who are heading right to it. Opening act will be BORN and there might be special guests!

New mini-album from BORN

Hot off the release of their first three mini-albums with PS Company, BORN has just announced another one!
The new mini-album is called DOGMA, and will be released in two types: the 3000 press limited edition will come with five tracks plus a PV for RED DESIRE, while the normal edition will come with seven tracks only. Both types are set to be released on February 2nd for 2,835 yen each. And of course, they’ll be holding a oneman live to celebrate the release: Agitate to the DOGMANISM will be held on March 13th at 新宿 (Shinjuku) LOFT.
Pretty big accomplishment to release another mini-album so soon, huh? Which version would you buy?

We told here and here about BORN joining PSC and a three consecutive month mini-album release campaign. Their site is now updated with all info of those mini albums and they announced an oneman event coming!

The tickets for oneman lives are 4000 yen a piece, whilst for events they cost 3800 yen in advance and 4300 yen at the door.
There is a special treat for the band’s fans though – a “special vacation” trip with the band on September 11th/12th. Of course you have to pay (and not a small amount of money) to go there, but if you do you:
・ get a shot with all the members
・ get to go to a ダウト (D=OUT) live (September 11th @ Okinawa SALT&PEPPER)
・ go to a lunch party with ダウト (D=OUT)
・ stay at the Pacific Hotel Okinawa, Port Hotel, or Okinawa Washington Hotel or another hotel of equal quality
the members are also planning a special project for all those who participate!

born joins Indie PSC

Thanks to Nisshoku for writing in and asking us to check this out!
Well, it turns out that born is now the newest member to join Indie PSC and starting in August, they will be having a three consecutive month mini-album release campaign!
Details on the releases will not be available until June 9th, however, you can see the band’s new style and OHP over at http://www.indie-psc.com/born/! On the new OHP, they also have a video comment from the members.
The member’s blog addresses have remained the same, however, their banners have all been updated. KIFUMI and Ray, who have both mentioned the label change, stated that the change in label does in no way mean a change in who the band is and their music. They feel that the environment Indie PSC can provide them will help them to advance.
In the upcoming months born will also be participating in a few PSC sponsored events. Their schedule for June, July and August so far is as follows:
