New member and looks coming up!

Zip.er had an important announcement today (well, yesteday in Japan) at their which of course made me think the worst was coming. However, after much refreshing of blogs, Kento has updated his saying that they ther support drummer, 伽児 (Kaji), who has been supporting for them since March and who was formerly a member of beaU has become an official member of the band!
Looks like they’ve been planning this one for a little while! Kaji’s information is not yet updated on the OHP, but you can check out his personal site which is located here: http://x76.peps.jp/kajitan39plan/
Kento also adds that now that Zip.er is five members, they’ll be taking off so make sure you keep your eye on them!
Towa wrote about it as well, saying that the band also has new costumes! They’ll hopefully be renewing their OHP in the near future with Kaji’s information and their hot new look!

Okay speaking of ex beaU members… ИＩＲＯ has been doing sessions as well! This summer has been all about friends as he joins some of his closest friends in new projects. One friend including Dora (どこでもドラ) ex Kenllre in a session called Fukamoka. Yesterday was ИＩＲＯ’s birthday and to celebrate they had a special session event. The session also now has a site and another date added to their live events! When I find out more about the session I’ll post it here!

is bought to you by the letter K! Actually this time its of Kino (ex beaU). I’ve mentioned before that ever since the disbanding of beaU, Kino has been pretty active, doing solo and session stuff. AND his choice of costumes have always been….colorful…? I would like to leave you with this sexy image!

Kino is active!

Remember my post here about beaU’s ex members? Well Kino actually has had a site, blog and has been doing many sessions since this past fall - all debuted right after the disbandment of beaU! I went to ZMF’s site and found out they updated news about the last line up of beaU. Kino is having another session band coming up called カナブン (I think?) on April 19th and on the 28th with the following members:

Dr.ダン(えんそく)
As I looked through Kino’s blog I noticed many pics of Masaki, he has been doing many sessions with Kino already, and they have perform songs from both ex bands - SULFURIC ACID and beaU! Kino has also had a few sessions with former band mates of beaU which is really cool. Kino’s blog is also really nerdy and sweet, he posts alot about family, anime and his weird collection of costumes that he wears for sessions. Like this one:

boogieman - OHP released!

Remember, how everyone was wondering about that band boogieman that we originally posted about here? They originally first performed on New Year’s Eve at Shibuya C.C. Lemon Hall, but unfortunately no one seemed to know for sure if they were just a session band or if they were actually going to settle down into a ‘real’ band.
A few weeks later, it was announced they’d be participating in the Clash Against Commercialism event that’s taking place in New York on April 6th, but still no OHP and no real details.
Well, finally we’ve got what we’ve been waiting for. They’ve put up their OHP and announced that they will begin (or continue, I guess) activities!
The big deal, of course, was the awesome line-up in the band.
The members are:
Vocals - ジュンノ (Junno) - ex. beaU
Guitar - ユアナ (Yuana) - ex. 蜉蝣 (Kagerou)
Guitar - 晃 (Akira) - ex. baroque
Bass - 万作 (Bansaku) - ex. baroque
Drums - ユウイチロー (Yuuichirou) - ex. メトロノーム (Metronome)
There aren’t any photos on the site yet, but it looks interesting so far.

ex.beaU members’s blogs/sites

This isn’t really new but since I posted about Koro’s new blog I should also update some old news about the ex members of beaU. So far only 3 of the 4 (final line up) members have posted new links for blogs or sites. First Иiro, he posted a new site and blog for himself. His site is located here and his blog here. Junno also updated saying thank you for the past 5 years, his goodbye was short and sweet, he also mentioned his new blog as well, which can be found here. He is also singing for boogieman (which will be coming to NY) but we don’t know if they are a session or full band just yet, please go out and see him live! Last is Kaji, who was only the drummer for beaU a short time, he actually is a popular session drummer and still has many lives lined up for this year, his site is located here. No news on Kuma or Kino but I hope they won’t retire!
