Thanks to cryptomayhem for letting us know that Takahiro, ex. baggy-bogy has started up a new band called Girl Goomie (ガールグゥミー) So far the members include:
Vo. Takahiro (ex. baggy-bogy）
Gu. Run (ex. kurikara)
Ba. Shuri (ex. Kamikaze Boyz)
Their first live will take place on July 28th at Meguru LIVE STATION. They also have an official blog for the band which can be found HERE

New band – dizSolid

If you remember, Saga disbanded on January 17th, but it seems that some members are back on the scene with a new band that looks rather interesting !
That band is called dizSolid and they will perform their very first live on May 1st at Ikebukuro Cyber for Baggy Bogy’s last live ! The line-up looks really interesting :

Baggy Bogy disbands

バギーボギー (Baggy Bogy) have announced that after their sponsored event on May 1st, they will be disbanding.
They say that their decision is a result of numerous discussions between the members. They will each continue on with their own activities, and will be blessed if their fans can continue to warmly watch over them.
They thank everyone who has support them, even though their period of activities was short.

Baggy Bogy Christmas Eve Live!

Baggy Bogy will have a live on December 24th at Takadanobaba AREA titled 『Baggy Bogy Before Xmas.』 Playing with them will be Jewel, Ashe’, Ansem Elliott, DIS★Marionette, Sekiseinikou, Ellseed, カーネルサンタっす (Colonel Sanders)! Tickets cost 2,500 yen when reserved and will cost 3,000 the day of the show. Also, if you reserve your tickets with Baggy Bogy, you’ll get some sort of present.

This one was sent in by Tay, thank you! Actually, I’m going to quote part of her email:
According to their mailmag Jewel participate on an omnibus CD called 「Next Burning Circus」 which will be released on October 31st and will cost ￥2,100.
Other bands are: 氷男 (Iceman), ダウナー (Downer), バギーボギー (Baggy Bogy), Ansem Elliott and Hi:BRiD
Each band will have one song on the CD, so it will consist of 6 tracks.There also will be a preliminary event on October 14th at Shibuya O-WEST.
It appears there will be a message DVD given out at the event consisting of all the bands.
Also, Tay asked about purchasing from ZEALLINK. They don’t do overseas orders but there are plenty of shopping services out there to assist you. I can’t speak for shopping services I’ve yet to use but I can recommend http://mukunoki-jp.net/ and http://crescent-shop.com/ (only use crescent shop for this if you are desperate). Remember, all shopping services have fees…read all the details carefully before using!

バギーボギー (Baggy Bogy) has moved and updated their OHP! Along with the change of address, and a [much] cleaner and more attractive layout, the band has also posted two samples in the Discography section.
So check out http://www.baggy-bogy.com and take a listen to samples of both 「疲現実insect」 (Higenjitsu insect) and 「感情straight」 (Kanjou straight) which are the two tracks on their single coming out on August 20th as Miku posted about earlier here.

R’s one day revival

The band R who disbanded on December 30th of last year will be having a one day revival live on August 16th at HOLIDAY Osaka.
The event, which R is also sponsoring, will be called 『Revealed ∞ transient eleMent』 and the other artists performing that night are Ziggrat, Bagii Bogii, Nealco, Hikoboshi, GoDeath, Maccaholic, Desaneck, Litchi, Claust la grace and Mus’ee.

The band バギーボギー(Bagi-Bogi) will be releasing their first single on August 20th entitled “疲現実insect/感情straight (hi genjitsu insect/kanjou straight). It will cost 1260 yen. No further details are available thus far.

Adrienne introduced バギーボギー [Bagi-bogi] here back in March and at the time the band had four members. But now (apparently) they are a three member band.
There was no announcement on the OHP, but Shotaro has left the band.
So I did some investigating, and in Yuu’s blog it has details on Shotaro’s withdrawal, he says he was the closest to Yuu and that they were friends before the band formed an he was really sad to see him go, but the ultimate reason why he left was because of “musical differences.” It’s something we hear a lot in the scene, but usually a band is a bit further along before there is actually enough music have differences about, right?

We all love new bands!
And today I’m introducing a band that just formed in February of this year, バギーボギー (Bagi-bogi).
The members are:
Vocals - 隆宏 (Takahiro) (ex-R)
Guitar - 聡 (Satoshi)
Guitar - 正太郎 (Shotaro)
Bass - 裕 (Yuu)
They gave out their first demo single as a present at their lives, but so far that is the only item added in their discography.
With the concept of “anything goes”, they’ll be creating a storm in the year 2008!
They haven’t played around too many venues as of yet, and only have a couple lives planned in April and May. However, on July 31st they’re having a “the start of serious activites commemoration event”.
I’d love to hear what they sound like — they seem like they’ll be a fun, catchy and interesting band.
… on their OHP it says there’s sound, but it doesn’t work for me. It didn’t work for Ailea either.
If you can hear it, let me know!
