VARB disbands and Hiron retires

VARB has announced on their OHP that they will be disbanding on March 11th. On that same day, Hiron will be retiring from music. At the event (which is sponsored by VARB), both 独立国歌-Ashe’- and J∀CK11 (Hiron’s former bands) will be performing for a one day revival.

VARB Disbands
At this time, we have an important announcement for everyone.As a result of numerous discussions between the members of VARB, and due to things such as a gap forming between us in respect to our musical direction, we are finding it difficult to continue on with the band, and therefore have decided to disband after our live at the event on March 11th.
Furthermore, vocalist Hiron has decided to take a road that separates him from the music scene, and will be retiring from band activities as of March.
Our decision is a result of all of us talking about it as much as we could with much trouble, and we deeply apologize that things have reached this point.
On the day that VARB disbands and that Hiron retires from music, we have a special project planned… the bands that Hiron has been in the past, 独立国歌-Ashe’- and J∀CK11 will be having one day revival lives.
We will be truly happy if we can gather a large group of people for our final live, and make it a climatic day.

As we announced back in July, Ashe’ disbanded on August 3rd.
However, all Ashe’ fans will be pleased to know that four of the members have gone on to create a new band called VARB!
The members are:
Vocals - ひろん (Hiron)
Guitar - 清 (Kiyo)
Bass - 学 (Manabu)
Drums - レム (Remu)
The band will have their official start on September 9th at Takadanobaba AREA, but performed on August 30th at Ikebukuro CYBER.
Photos are not available yet, but we’ll definitely keep you updated!

Thanks to vicky for the heads up on this one.
Ashe’ have announced that on August third, after their performance at Scuber Dive, they will be disbanding.
None of the members have addressed their reasons behind the decision, but they do ask that fans continue to support them until the end.
Both Mizuki and Lemu say that it was a decision made by everyone, and that they all now feel that is was a positive outcome.

SCUBER DIVE ’09

SCUBER DIVE is an important Visual Kei event that’s been created two years ago, back in 2007. This event takes place both in Tokyo and Osaka, usually on the same day(s) and it gathers a lot of popular indie bands in different live houses of both cities. And it seems the two first editions were a success as the program of this year’s SCUBER DIVE has been revealed !
Like it was already the case last year, the SCUBER DIVE is split in two part, one in Osaka (Naniwa) and one in Tokyo (Shibuya). So, those of you who are lucky enough to be in Japan in that period should definitly go ! Hard choice though !
The timetable has yet to be revealed precisely, but it will be hold on July 31st and August 3rd, and here are the bands that are going to perform this year (more details on the timetable as soon as possible)

New member for 独立国歌-Ashe’- ! The band finally got a new drummer after Kisa’s departure. His name is レム (Remu) and he appeared on stage with the band for the first time during their one-man live on May 13th ! Let’s wish him the best !

独立国家-Ａｓｈe’- will be releasing their second single on March 11th! The title is 「MIRROR ZONE」 and it will cost 1500 for two tracks plus a DVD:

The DVD track has not yet been released.

On February 1st at Takadanobaba AREA 独立国歌-Ashe’- is holding the second part of their three month consecutive sponsored events, 「～国歌斉唱～vol.2」 (~Kokkaseishou~ vol. 2).
Participating that night will be Megaromania, Kiryuu, Poitrine, DELUHI, Jewel and Hi:BRiD.
Audience members will receive a sticker set featuring all the bands performing that night.
But this isn’t the best part of the night. All those who attend will also receive the first story to Ashe”s drama, 「サッドネス・ラブ」 (Sadness Love). Even better, you can check out a trailer for it on their OHP (and I highly suggest you do, it’s intense!). Please note that it’s only available on the PC version and you’ll have to hit play for it to go.

Ashe’ has announced that on February 11th they’ll be putting out a live DVD in commemoration of their half year anniversary! THe DVD will be called 「～灰色夢幻回廊～」at Shinjuku RUIDO K4 (Haiiro Mugen Kairou), and will cost 2000 yen.
The tracklist is as follows:

-Ashe’- loses Kisa

-Ashe’- has announced that at their live on January 18th at Takadanobaba AREA, their drummer Kisa will be leaving the band.
They apologize for having to make such a sudden announcement, however, Kisa’s current family circumstances make it difficult for him to continue activities in the band, and he therefore has decided to leave.
Kisa said that he will be taking a temporary retirement from band activities, and will have to think about whether or not it is possible for him to return at all.
In February, the band will be welcoming a support drummer to their ranks, and resuming with their activities.

Baggy Bogy Christmas Eve Live!

Baggy Bogy will have a live on December 24th at Takadanobaba AREA titled 『Baggy Bogy Before Xmas.』 Playing with them will be Jewel, Ashe’, Ansem Elliott, DIS★Marionette, Sekiseinikou, Ellseed, カーネルサンタっす (Colonel Sanders)! Tickets cost 2,500 yen when reserved and will cost 3,000 the day of the show. Also, if you reserve your tickets with Baggy Bogy, you’ll get some sort of present.

Ashe’s New Single

Ashe’ has announced that they will be releasing a new single on November 12, titled 「夢追ヰパラドックス」 (Yumeoi Paradox). The single will cost 1,500 yen and includes three tracks, 夢追ヰパラドックス」 (Yumeoi Paradox), 僕ガ僕デ君ハ君デ (Boku ga Boku de Kimi wa Kimi de) and 裁主義 (Saishugi). There will also be an event on the release date, but further details have yet to be released.

Secilia Luna and 独立国歌-Ashe’- have both announced that they’ll be teaming up for a coupling tour!
The tour’s name is 『- 神聖独裁 -』 (Shinsei Dokusai, Holy Despotism) and it kicks off on September 9th.
Start times and ticket prices are not yet available, however here are the details that are:
September 9th @ Sendai Hook
September 12th @ Urawa Narciss
September 15th @ Holiday Osaka

Today’s wonderful realm of Ernie’s Random Facts involves none other than the members of ashe’. What is it all about? Well, it is about how each member would analyze their own personalities.
Hiron – Hates losing. Things are either right, or wrong. A supporter of justice.
Mizuki – 70% bad, 30% normal
Kiyo – There’s probably a difference between when the tension is high, and when the tenshion is low.
Manabu – Careful, considerate and kind. A tiny bit short tempered.
Kisa – My character basically gives off the impression of being positive and mellow.（ ′∀｀）
To go along with this fact I’ve decided to analyze myself. Here is the wonderful personality of Ernie:
Loves conversation and meeting new people. Does not like individuals that insult the greatness of Yanni. Is a strong believer/supporter in the ‘Ernie has a really nice butt’ foundation.

独立国歌-Ashe’- will be releasing their a single entitled [バラバラノ花] (Barabara no Hana) on July 16th!
They will be selling two types. The hall board which is only available at live houses, and the mail order board which is also available through Like an Edison and ZEALLINK. Each is limited to only 200 copies.
Each comes with a second disc which I believe is a DVD containing a PV~

Okay! Here’s another new band I wanted to post about recently, but I haven’t gotten the chance! (And I do apologize for my slowness lately – it’s the end of the semester and apparently they decide it’s smart to make everything due in the same week. It’s been fun).
Anyways, one new band that has sprouted up lately is 独立国歌-Ashe’-. They formed in October of 2007, but will officially start their activities on May 13th.
With the foundation of the sentiment, “All people, are in isolation” they are bringing forth painfully sad melodies.
The members of the band are:
Vocals - ひろん (Hiron) (ex-J∀CK11)
Guitar - 水姫 (Mizuki) (ex-Hina)
Guitar - 清-キヨ- (Kiyo) (ex-J∀CK11)
Bass - 学 (Manabu) (ex-cheSs)
Drums - きさ (Kisa) (ex-Eimy)
Their first live on May 13th, is also a free oneman at HOLIDAY SHINJUKU (okay, you have to pay 500 yen for a drink ticket). All attendees will recieve a CD as well!
There isn’t much on their OHP yet, but hopefully soon we’ll be able to learn a little more about the band and hear what they sound like! Must say, they look well put together for a band who has just started.
