On February 3rd at Shinjuku Loft, DANGER CRUE hosted 「J-ROCK EXPLOSION 2012 華麗なる激情-Splendid Violent Emotion-」 (J-ROCK EXPLOSION 2012 Kirei naru Gekijou-Splendid Violent Emotion-).
Now, they have announced that there will be two more J-ROCK EXPLOSION events!

The second event will take place on April 13th, once again at Shinjuku LOFT and will feature ALSDEAD, GALEYD, MoNoLith, Para:noir, DCR ALL STARS and more. Tickets cost 2500 yen a piece, and go on sale starting February 25th.
A third J-ROCK EXPLOSION is planned for July 28th, but further detials are not currently available.

ALSDEAD gains a new member and releases

Good news for ALSDEAD fans! The band has announced that 陽佑 (Yosuke, ex-auncia), who has been support member after Reito left the band, joined the band officially! They also have a mini album release coming and updated OHP with new look.
As the picture above says, the new mini album is called MODALITY and comes out next year on February 29th. It will include 7 songs and cost 2,310 yen. Tracklist isn’t yet available, but one of the tracks will be re-recording of their song 「FRAGILE」.

Shion over at Babel Entertainment has been working hard for fans this summer. Not only did Babel bring over the amazing acts D and BLOOD STAIN CHILD but they helped with a fashion show, finished their second issue of Babel their metal/vk magazine AND spread the word of VK to many new fans! This fall, they are bringing in the amazing Takashi O’hashi and ALSDEAD to HEXXP! Are you guys going?!
They will presenting a live report tonight over at their site. Be sure to listen in and support them and tell them thanks for all their hard work they do with their magazine and with bands!

Reina emailed this to us, thanks so much!! Seems like on August 12th, Reito will be leaving ALSDEAD on their third oneman live entitled Regenerate:DEAD～A NEW LEVEL～ at Shibuya Boxx.
I wonder if they will find a replacement before their appearance at HEXXP Con? They are supposed to be filming a pv in Hawaii.

Not only ALSDEAD will be attending the con HEXXP in Hawaii this fall on September 30th – October 1st but also guitar legend – Takashi O’hashi from Seikima-II will grace fans! ALSDEAD will also be shooting a pv in Hawaii, so be sure to dress the part and help. Both artists have made videos talking about their excitement coming to Hawaii!
ALSDEAD has been rising not only in Japan, but internationally as well with in the Visual Kei fan base and Metal fan base. They just released their full self titled album and have their eyes set on Hawaii Entertainment Expo – Experience (HEXXP) in Honolulu, Hawaii. They will also be filming a PV at the convention as well. This is the first time a Visual Kei PV has been shot in Hawaii, and the spectators will get to be a part of the PV as well. So, come in your best Goth, Lolita, Steampunk and Visual Kei costumes and be a part of the fun!
Japanese guitar legend Takashi O’hashi will be debuting his new music video project to his “Child of Nature” CD here in Hawaii for world release. Currently he has just established his official U.S. operations at www.ohashijam.com in which open auditions will be announced for 2011 & 2012 projects!

Almost a year after their last release, ALSDEAD has announced a new single! The single is called Into The Void and will be released on April 13th, containing two new songs for 1,050 yen.

ALSDEAD and HITT coming to Europe

Great news! These two bands have are coming to Europe – both will appear at Tsukicon in Finland and HITT has also announced a whole tour.
Tsukicon will be held at Gloria in Helsinki, on November 13th and 14th. HITT will be on stage on Saturday and ALSDEAD on Sunday. Tickets will cost 10e on Saturday (HITT + evening party, possible other artist not yet announced) and 20e on Sunday. There will be third concert on Sunday afternoon, but details aren’t yet available.
Tsukicon will be only a part of HITT’s upcoming tour, and other dates are as follows:
October 24th Lisbon, Portugal JMusic Celebratio
November 6th Dudelange, Luxembourg – Why not?
November 7th Paris/Montreuil, France – Instants chavires
November 12th Moscow, Russia
November 13th Helsinki, Finland – Tsukicon

Sonic con cancels ALSDEAD

Thanks to an email from Mateluhi who gave us the heads up about this. Remember when we told you guys about ALSDEAD coming back to Texas? Seems the band will not be performing at Sonic Con this year. The con’s site states that they had to cancel the band’s performance.
We have unfortunately had to cancel Alsdead’s performance at SONCION for this year. (If you have banquet tickets to their table we will email you). BUT…. there is a silver lining! PEELANDER Z & BOWLING FOR SOUP are now playng SONICON 2010!
A cloudy explanation from the con’s side but I for one hope that the band still comes back to do another show overseas! The fan facebook seems positive to bring them back to America.
ALSDEAD at Sonic Con in Plano, TX November 5th through the 7th has been canceled. Please see www.alsdead.com as well as the band members’ individual Ameba blogs for more details. Be on the look out for more ALSDEAD updates regarding shows in the US. We’re working hard to bring them here still!!

chariots, Riku’s solo project, have prepared lots of great news for all his fans!
First of all, the support members have been revealed:

On November 7th they’ll hold a sponsored event at HOLIDAY OSAKA. It will be called 「subculture VOL:2」 and other participating bands wil be: Dali, Arc, 罪団法人黒十字2010 (Tsumidan Houjin Kurojuuji 2010), Cu[be], Synside, Armeria and Ultimate Sonic.
Furthermore, the band will organize a tour entitled 「Xmas Night Fever」. The schedule looks as follows:

ALSDEAD at Hedgehog Show and SoniCon

Lisa first told us about this, thanks!
ALSDEAD will be coming back to the United States in November to do a concert at SoniCon, an anime convention for human and hedgehogs! The band is presented by CURE, of course.
It takes place November 5th through 7th at the Southfork Hotel in Plano, TX.
The concert will be held at Southfork Ranch, which is a few miles from the hotel, but they will have buses to charter people. You do have to have a weekend or day-pass membership to attend the concert.
Tickets purchased before June 1st are 30$, and the price will increase to 40$ after that until September, and then it will increase again to 45$ after September 1st and it will cost 50$ at the door for a weekend pass. You can get a day pass, but it’s still 40$.
Since it’s an event where you can bring a pet hedgehog, if you do want to bring one, you have to register him or her too and pay for their badge also.
Sounds like a fun event! I don’t have a hedgehog, but I’m definitely going! Anyone else?

ex gossip – hiro & masami form 7addict

Hiro and Masami, both ex gossip have finally started a new session band together. The group is called 7addict and has four acting members at the moment. Their first sponsored event called ～Probability change vol.1～, will be held on June 21st at Shinjuku RUIDO K4. Advance ticket sales start soon and will be 2,500 and 3,000 yen at the door. Other bands who will be playing are: Velvet, ALSDEAD, Para:noir, Elm, and Egoist.

ALSDEAD’s first full album, and change of label

ALSDEAD have announced that they will be releasing their first full album! The album will be self-titled (and therefore called 「ALSDEAD」), and is coming out on June 16th. It will contain a few “carefully chosen” songs from previous works, as well as new songes for a total of ten tracks.
To celebrate, the band is sponsoring an event on June 9th at Shibuya BOXX called 「ALL SIXX NINE DEAD」. Also playing that night will be Sel’m, born, Dali, Hi:BRiD, SKULL and Para:noir. Tickets cost 3000 yen a piece, and regular ticket sales begin on April 10th.
One final announcement from the band was that they have changed labels!
The following message was posted on their OHP:
Up until now, ALSDEAD has been part of the A heretic sound music label, however, we have graduated from the label, and moved to GALAXY, which is part of FIREBALL.
Accompanying the change of labels, will be an event and release, and even more things that we’ll be putting our effort into, so we hope that you will continue to support us and to cheer us on.

Both Megaromania and E’m~grief~ are teaming up for three man shows!
Megaromania’s is called -Formation of 3 pieces- 「Dark profound thought」 and it takes place on January 30th at Shinjuku RUIDO K4. They will be playing alongside ALSDEAD and SaTan.
E’m~grief~’s is taking place on January 31st, also at Shinjuku RUIDO K4, but is called -Formation of 3 pieces- 「Altar of the spirit」. Joining them are Art Cube and ルーシ－ (Lucy).
Tickets for both shows cost 3000 yen, and go on sale starting November 28th.
