L~Lotus~ is a five-piece band comprising of three ex. as milk members – 蓮華 (Renka) on vocals, saki and Takayuki on guitars, masato on bass, and YUJI on drums. GLACIER is a five-member group from Okinawa, comprising of Makoto on vocals, Nao on lead guitar, Koujirou on rhythm guitar, Aki on bass, and Yuuki on drums. O-PARTS is a two-man unit that started in June of 2009, formed by vocalist sho-ka (ex. Vogus Image) and bassist Jun (GaGaaalinG, ex. WAIVE). Do you guys still remember カラス (Karasu), super unit project by Tatsurou? They perfomed again at Jack in the Box event and announced a second single release!
The new single is entitled as 「free」. It will come out October 27th in two types, limited edition costs 1,800 yen and includes again a DVD with music clip and regular edition which costs 1,200 yen. The song from the release will be used as opening theme for new anime of Asahi TV, 「バトルスピリッツ ブレイヴ」 (Battle Spirits Brave).

It’s coming again! On August 21st JACK IN THE BOX SUMMER 2010 event will be again held at Makuhari Messe Hall 4-6.
Artists performing will be acid android, DEAD END, ギルガメッシュ (Girugamesh), Ken, kyo (D’ERLANGER), ムック (MUCC), シド (SID), TETSUYA, VAMPS, Zoro, 44MAGNUM, Alice Nine, Becky, LM.C, SADS and possibly even more.
Tickets will cost 11,500 yen.

As we talked about back in April, this August, Alice Nine is not only going on tour, but they will be releasing a new single on August 25th!
More details are now available, and since at the beginning of this year PS Company parted ways with King Records, the new release will be coming out under TOKUMA JAPAN.

Strange sessions are always made of stinky coolness. One session that is pretty random is THE HIGH TOKYO BLACK, which consists of 3 PS COMPANY boys. Can you guess who are these guys? Shouldn’t be too hard to figure out! *hint look at the tags!*
Okay, you guys know I can’t keep secrets, I’ll tell you!
Its Nao (Kagrra), Keiyuu (KRA) and Tora (Alice Nine)! Now how did this weird and wacky session start? They actually premiered at TRIBAL ARIVALL Vol.99 earlier this month. They have another show on May 30th (TRIBAL ARIVALL Vol. 100) with other PS COMPANY bands, including KRA, Alice Nine, SCREW, ViViD and SuG! You can view their myspace over here.

ESP Crafthouse have announced that they will be having a “Saga Fair” where they will be displaying both the model of bass that Saga from Alice Nine uses, as well as his most recent costume.
The display started on April 11th, and will be going until the 30th.
Those attending can purchase Saga’s model, 「焔」 (Homura) for a special fair price of 472,500 yen. They will also be selling Saga’s picks for 105 yen). Anyone who purchases Saga’s bass model will receive a special present.

Alice Nine have updated their OHP today with some amazing news! Not only are they going to have a new tour but also release a brand-new single on the 4th of August.

The standing tickets will cost 4750 yen in advance and 5250 yen, whilst the sitting ones will be 500 yen more expensive respectively.
Finally, the tour final will be held on the 6th of January 2011 at Nippon Budoukan. It will be entitled 「TOKYO GALAXY」. The tickets cost 6300 yen when you buy them in advance and 6825 yen on the day of the event.

Well isn’t this interesting!
PS Company will be having an event on May 30th entitled 「TRIBAL ARIVALL Vol.100」at Shibuya AX!
The bands featuring are Alice Nine, Kra, SuG, SCREW, ViViD and also, a “mystery session band” formed by the company, THE 東京 HIGH BLACK (THE TOKYO HIGH BLACK)!
Tickets will go on sale from March 27th until May 26th and are 7,500 yen for standing while seat tickets are 8,000 yen, with an additional 500 yen for drinks.
Doors will be open at 16:00 and the event will start at 16:45.
So, any idea who will be in this mystery session band?

SCREW has announced the newest addition to their line-up!
Their new bassist is ルイ (Rui), who was formerly in various bands such as Gimmick, Garnet, Mudgett, juliadoll and Jewel. He became an official member at their live today; February 9th.

Along with their new member, SCREW will be holding a two consecutive month release campaign!
The first single will come out on May 12th and is titled 「Cursed Hurricane」 and the next will be out on June 9th, and titled 「ANCIENT RAIN」.
Details on both releases will be available at a later date.
SCREW will also be very busy in both April and May as they participate in the Shinrabanshow tour ’10 #2, which you can find more about here.
Along with the tour, they’ll be performing in the SHOXX 20 year anniversary celebrate, SHOCK WAVE 2010, with Alice Nine, LM.C, MUCC and Plastic Tree that takes place on April 29th at JCB Hall. Tickets for the show cost 5500 yen a piece.

There’s a new V.A. (Various Artists) release that’s coming out on December 1st called 「ニンジャマンジャパン 緊急指令！Bijuを救え！の巻」 (Ninjaman Japan Kinkyuu Shirei! Biju wo Sukue! no Kan).
What is it? Well, it’s a “thrilling movie starring Ninjaman Japan”. The movie is an action story, and wonderfully incorporates a ‘course’ on ‘how to enjoy visual kei’.
The DVD will also feature four Ninjaman Japan songs and PVs, as well as interviews that reveal the original story, full coverage of their filming location, a bloopers reel, as well as interviews.

カラス (Karasu) is a new neo visual kei “super unit” that has a very interesting composition of musicians!
The line-up for the project is:
Vocals - 逹瑯 (Tatsurou) [from MUCC]
Guitar - ヒロト (Hiroto) [from Alice 9]
Guitar - 美月 (Mizuki) [from Sadie]
Bass - dunch [from jealkb]
Drums - ケンゾ (Kenzo) [from Ayabie]
Originally, the band was meant to only be a one night jam session, organized by the vocalist, Tatsurou. However, they now are like a crow, which has grown and expanded, and is spreading its wings.
They first performed on August 15th at the MAVERICK DC GROUP PRESENTS JACK IN THE BOX 2009 SUMMER live. They played two cover songs, as well as their original number, 「LASTICA」, which you can hear a sample of on their official MySpace.
For three months after their performance, the band has been busy “underwater” recording, and this November have brought 「LASTICA」 back to the scene with their 「LASTICA Studio ver.」. They are adding the finishing touches to the song which is catchy, and has an industrial sound with passionate lyrics, perfectly appropriate for “neo visual kei”.
Is ‘Karasu’ (which means ‘crow’) something that will fly away and disappear? Or, is it something magnificent, willful, that will suddenly and unexpected swoop down on you? From here on, you will not be able to take your eyes away from their activities.

Nick names can be cute or enduring. Saga is often called Daikon-san, it means radish-san and was given by his bandmate Shou!
Eh not sure if he really looks like Daikon but one thing is for sure – nick names do really stick! Poor Saga. Bet he wishes he had a cool nick name like me! Sexy King!!!
Alice Nine is releasing a new book called 「Piece of 5ive elements 「THE BOOK」 – Alice Nine 5th -」.
It’s their first artist book, and it’s being released by the magazine CD-Data. It costs 3000 yen, is B5 in size and is a hard cover book with 180 pages.
What’s inside? Well, there are photos of each member (12 pages each) all of which were produced by Shou. Also included is a long interview, coverage from their VANDAL(ism)#1 tour and a report, plus all of CD-Data’s serial story on the band, 「男磨き倶楽部」 (Otoko Migaki Club).
According to CD-Data, it’s a book that is fully loaded with Alice Nine’s charm. The book will be available through CD-Data’s OHP, in bookstores, CD shops, and online as well.

On November 11th, Alice Nine will be releasing a new live DVD called 「UNTITLED VANDAL(ism)#Finale「Graced The Beautiful Day」」.
The DVD, which is coming out in two types, will contain footage from their tour final that took place on August 23rd at Tokyo Kokusai Forum Hall A.
The first press edition costs 8925 yen and comes with a bonus DVD disc that contains the studio live for three songs, a special 56 page booklet, and comes with special packaging.
The first press edition is 4725 yen.
