An Cafe’s 3 Month Consecutive Release

An Cafe is having a 3 month consecutive single release! Each single comes with a regular and limited edition, which comes with a dvd (MV, bonus footage, recording footage, live rehearsal footage, and cover art making of.) The regular versions are 1200￥ and the limited editions are 1600￥.
June 12 marks the the beginning of the campaign! The first single of the campaign is titled “Bee Myself Bee Yourself ～自分らしく君らしく生まれたストーリー始まってんだ～” (~Jibunrashiku kimirashiku umareta STORY hajimattenda.) The details on the track have not been released, but we’ll keep you updated.

It is getting close to May 2nd, and many of us know what that means: the annual hide Memorial Day. This year is the 15th anniversary of legendary guitarist hide’s untimely death, so this is a very special year for many fans. In addition, it is the 20th anniversary of hide’s Solo career.
hide’s post-humorous management company has announced the premiere of the Special Compilation Live “hide FILM ALIVE!” Tickets are still available for the film’s screening, which will take place at Club CITTA’ in Kawasaki. The price of tickets are ¥3900, not including the ¥500 drink ticket required at the door. Two screenings of the film will be made, at 14:00 and 18:30.

Just after wrapping up their first one-man as their alter-ego, Chi to Houtai, CELL has some pretty exciting news for fans — though it doesn’t seem to be coming through official channels just yet. However, guitarist SIN, who started his own Facebook account last week, has been dangling some pretty hefty teasers at his followers:

Here’s something out of the ordinary, even when it comes to Visual Kei.
This band has been around since the summer of 2012, but since we have not introduced them on Shattered Tranquility yet, this is being filed under an introduction post.
VAMPIRE ROSE is the solo project of Count ROSE, who is actually the chief of a themed restaurant in Ginza called Vampire Cafe. Support members are from different bands. They have had a few lives this year already, but they will be having their first one-man event on April 29th at Birth Shinjuku, followed by a dinner party at Christon Cafe in Tokyo. A big announcement is planned for that day, so if you’re interested, you’d better go!

Although Dolly’s live DVD, “Yume no Saihate,” was scheduled to go on sale April 17 (Wednesday), due to trouble with the manufacturing equipment, production at this time has ceased.

AMARANYX Announces Free One Man, Special Photo Session

Despite having announced recently that their drummer, Kazuharu, would be taking a short leave of absence due to appendicitis, AMARANYX already seems ready to kick-start the month of May with some exciting news! On May 12th, the band will be performing a Free One Man, titled “DOGMA RETURNS” at the Shinjuku Ruido K4.
In addition to this free One Man, after the show if you have purchased a copy of their newest single “Eve” or spend ¥2000 at their merchandise table after the live, you will be able to participate in a special Photo Session with either your favorite member or the entire band! However, you should note that there is a tiny catch– a photo with your favorite member will cost you ¥500, while a photo with the whole band will cost ¥1000.
There is no mention to Kazuharu not being able to participate, and since it’s over a month away it seems highly likely he will be able to participate. If we find out any further news, we will inform you!

Sad news for SOPHIA fans today.
It was announced on Natalie.mu that SOPHIA would be stopping all band activities after their countrywide tour.

It has come to light that after their current countrywide tour, which is now in progress, SOPHIA will go on an activity pause.
For details on the activity pause, the band explained, “It’s because in 2014 we face our 20th anniversary and we share a mutual feeling of wanting to once again reevaluate our activities up until now, as well as our future as artists, the existence of all the fans supporting us, and the music that each member should express as SOPHIA.” The Nippon Budokan performance in Tokyo on August 12th will be the last live before the pause.
SOPHIA formed in 1994 and had their major debut in 1995. Facing the 15th anniversary since their debut, in 2010 it was disclosed that keyboardist Miyako Keiichi was suffering from a malignant follicular lymphoma tumor and the band took a temporary pause, but with Miyako’s recovery the next year, activity was restarted in 2011. They have released a new album, “Mirai Otona Sengen,” this past March.

Great news for fans of Miyavi today! He’s been busy for the last year that we haven’t mentioned him, hasn’t he? Announced a few days ago by the man himself, he’ll be releasing a new album this June to the whole world!

Signal’s 3rd One Man

Fantastic news was announced by Signal at their One Man on April 5th at Shinjuku’s Tokyo Wild Side. Prior to the encore, Signal announced that on June 28th the band will be holding their second anniversary One Man titled “OVER THE DEAD LINE.” This will be the band’s third One Man.
The live will take place at Ikebukuro EDGE, doors opening at 17:30/18:00. Tickets will cost ¥3000/¥3500 (not including EDGE’s ¥500 drink ticket.) A Tickets will be going on sale on 4/13, at their Event Live at Otsuka HEARTS.
There was also a mention of another upcoming announcement, though no further news was given at the time. So, when this reporter knows more, so will you!

AMARYANYX has been participating in many lives since the end of March, however, Dr. Kazuharu has recently been hospitalized and unable to attend the live on the 7th of this month. Here is a message from the band and staff (translated by Elena of S-T.net):
A notice in regards to the performance at Shibuya REX on April 7
Today AMARANYX’s drummer Kazuharu was urgently hospitalized due to acute appendicitis.
Surgery went smoothly and his life is not in danger, but it is necessary for him to spend some time recuperating in the hospital. Therefore, we are sorry to say at the April 7 live, Kazuharu will not be performing.
For worrying and troubling everyone who was looking forward to Kazuharu’s performance, we sincerely apologize.
The remaining members will perform as AMARANYX.
Kazuharu’s scheduled return to performing will be decided after taking his physical condition into consideration, so please wait for further information.
From now on, please continue to treat AMARANYX well.-AMARANYX members and staff
