The holiday season is upon us and to celebrate here at Shattered-Tranquility.net, we’re having a contest! There’s nothing like winning some visual goodness around the holidays.
So here’s how it works. We’ve created a little advent calendar. You know, those awesome calendars that usually come with chocolates? Well, instead of chocolates you get a trivia question. Every day from December 1st until December 24th a new trivia question will be available.
Answer the question correctly and you will be e-mailed a ticket to our holiday raffle that will take place on December 26th. Please note you are only allowed to submit one answer per question, per day. After your initial submission, other entries will be deleted.
There is a catch. The questions will all be posted at midnight EST and be available for answering for a period of 23 hours and 59 minutes. The form will close at exactly 11:59 EST every day, so if you don’t get your answer in within that time frame you will not be eligible for that day’s ticket.
But never fear, there’s 24 days and 24 chances! The questions are all based around visual bands and there may be the odd one about the site thrown in for good measure. Some questions will be easy and others will be hard.
Advent Calendar
We even went as far as actually making our own little advent calendar. Days that are black and white have already ‘been opened’.

The Prizes
At last the prize amounts have been decided, so you know what exactly you’re going up for in the raffle.
As it is the Christmas season and due to the number of participants, we’ve decided to have a total of five prizes. Each prize can be redeemed as either a gift certificate at CDJapan or through Paypal. If you win and neither of these options work for you, we can always figure something else out; we’re more than happy to work around what you can do and what you’re comfortable with.
With that said, the five prize denominations are as follows:
2 x 3000 yen
2 x 4000 yen
1 x 7000 yen
If anyone’s curious as to why we decided to go this way, we figured by giving away money instead of specific prizes everyone who wins has a chance to get something they actually want.
