It’s summer time and to celebrate Shattered Tranquility is holding another contest! Our first contest, the spring raffle, was a sucess and hopefully this one will be as well!

We decided to change it up a little and we’re calling on all fans to create a tribute to any visual band or visual band member that they choose! Your tribute can be in any form you feel best expresses yourself and includes, but is not limited to fan art, a fan video, a poem about the band, you doing a cover of one of their songs . . . anything goes as long as it’s within the rules!

The Rules & Guidelines

By submitting your entry you automatically agree to abide by the following rules.

1. All entries must be original for this contest. No using things you’ve made before.

2. Your entry must be private. You therefore cannot publicise it in any shape, way or form. If you do and are caught, your entry will be automatically deleted.

3. It must be about a visual band or artist.

4. Along with your entry you have the oppurtunity to give a little explanation about what you’ve created. It’s not a requirement to fill out, but it may help in getting votes.

5. The entry can not be vulgar or offensive. Use your common sense.

6. Once your entry is submitted you may not make any alterations to it.

7. There is no limit to the number of entries you can submit. However, with that said please use common sense when entering your works. One great entry is more likely to win than ten mediocre ones.

8. If you are submitting graphics you have created, one icon does not suffice as an entry. A collection of 25 or more will be accepted.

9. The deadline for the contest is Friday, August 15th August 22nd. Voting will commence on Monday, August 25th and continue for one week.

The Prizes

A prize will be awared to the top three entries. First place will receive 4000 yen, second place receives 3000 yen and third place, 2000 yen.

You can spend the money at a online CD store or online shop of your choice. Just fill us in with your order and we’ll pay the amount of prize money that you’ve won.

If possible, the entries by the prize winners will be sent off to the artist or band as well. If you win and would not like it to be sent, please let us know.
